Pre Keine- This part of the stage was extremely well done, with all enemies slaughtered and all items grabbed. Excellent.
Keine- Ancient History- Start at absolute bottom center (above the "e" in enemy), and hang out there until the arrowheads come, then stream. For the even waves, start outside the room, and shortly before the arrowheads start, begin moving through it. Returning Bridge of Ichigo- There were a few scary moments, try to steadily move left, using the ribbons as a guide. Captured anyway. Next History of Phantasm- Though you seem to have a route figured out, I recommend starting in the bottom center each wave and moving from there only when the streaming starts.
Post-Keine- Bombed the purple ovals, I can see why you would do that. Try to remain lower on the screen when killing the fairies that spawn them. Death Fairy was safespotted pacifistically. You could have deployed Ran, but eh, you'll get all 1-ups anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.
Mokou- "Curse of Tsuki no Iwakasa"- Ouch, screwed up slipping through green walls. ...Twice. Ooooooooooookay... I couldn't really see how you fair against the aimed knives, but spell practice those walls.
Non 2- Panicbomb? I think you could have capped this, it's not too hard, but whatever.
"Fire Bird -Flying Phoenix-"- Standard streaming cap.
"Flaw of the Forgiving Shrine"- Basic safe area cap. I recommend staying at the far edge for that, but w/e.
Non 4- bombing when the reds reach you, hm... I can see why you might do that, I have some troubles here on occasion, but I'd try to survive a bit longer, since last spell window is so long with border team. Particularly since you did just fine the second time the Reds came.
"Xu Fu's Dimension"- Standard streaming, nothing unusual or notable.
Non 5- You seemed to be moving a lot faster than you were in Non 4. tap the keys a bit more lightly. You bombed immediately after the death too... you could have waited for the invincibility to go.
"Honest Man's Death"- You were moving way too much. Little taps are all you need to avoid the red-black bullets and the lasers. You got hit twice here, so spell practice those little movements a bit.
Non 6- Bombing the moment the purples reach you, huh... you probably could avoid those. As you quickly proved.
"Woo"- You seemed to be going for the misdirection approach I use, but you didn't escape the right side fast enough, resulting in a bomb. Listen for the third set, and be preparing to return to the first side while the first two fire. There was a dodge fail second wave as well, but that wasn't really so much of an error with executing the approach. then for the end, you swapped for Proto's old way... don't do that, it's terrible, though Mokou was almost dead anyway so I guess it doesn't matter much.
Non7- You held your ground and used nothing but a single bomb. About as good as I normally do, so that's good.
"Phoenix's Tail"- Dodgefail led to death. Try to dodge a bit higher though, the varying speeds can cause absolute bottom to clutter.
Rings of Death- Bombskipped because hahaha this thing is BS.
"Fujiyama Volcano"- Start to Mokou's left (your right), with Ran deployed. Circle around below her for the red arrowheads, and move above her to misdirect the explosions when she spams those. Then move way to your right when she fires the last volcano, and restart in the other direction when she fires the second lone volcano.
"Possessed by Phoenix"- Phase 1: Start in the top center, and slowly decend while dodging purple bullets. Descend fast enough that you can dodge, but not so fast that you hit the bottom before the phase is done setting familiars, but make sure you are at the bottom at the end of the phase. Phase 2: Start at the bottom, as set up by phase 1. Slowly but surely stream upward. about halfway through the point where the clock is at 46, move to restream. then keep streaming. Phase 3: CIRCLES Phase 4: CIRCLES WITH DODGING

Oops, I forgot to post the analyses while I was distracted by grad school stuff. Thanks for the reminder, Shadie! You really hate those rainbow UFOs, eh? AnalysisPre-Kogasa - Nice opener, collecting all the Power and summoning UFOs quickly. 3/4.8 is really great for Kogasa!
Kogasa - First spell would probably be easier if you rose up more instead of being pushed to the side. Nice deathbomb though. Great performance on Guerilla Typhoon, but it was taking too long and you decided to bomb there. I'm not quite sure why you were moving up for Karakasa Struggle, but eh, you bombskipped it anyway.
Post-Kogasa - Pretty great! The yin-yang + fairy part is annoying, so I can understand the bomb there. Large fairies by themselves were handled really well, and UFOs were coordinated very nicely, allowing you to reach Nue with 5/2!
Nue
Peaceful Dark Clouds - Obvious auto-capture
Red UFO - You were actually handled it pretty well. Once you eliminate most of the red UFOs, streaming the red bullets is easier than it looks. Precautionary bombing makes sense though.
Non3 - Nue's hardest nonspell imo (and deserves a mention more than the spell that follows it), and you captured it!
Blue UFO - Nice capture, killing enough blue UFOs while still hurting Nue at a reasonable pace.
Non5 - Okay, I wasn't expecting you to bomb here. Try to stay under Nue, or near her vertical axis (at the bottom, of course), since it keeps the pattern easier.
Danmaku Chimaera - Pretty hard to screw up once it's ingrained into your muscle memory.
Green UFO - Oh, hey, you've gotten much better at this and even managed to capture it! Good job!
Non7 - Some pretty close calls, but you slipped through them all nicely~
Undefined Darkness - Downwards, bottom-right, top-right, was going pretty well. Not sure why you tried to move down at that point though, since she was under you and it would be easier to dodge if you moved left, as well as leading her to a position that's easier for you to attack her at later. Try to stick to the triangle. Anyhow, you were doing fine after that death, but the power penalty really hurt a lot. I don't think the panicbomb was necessary, but it's understandable. After that, it just got really intense, inciting another bomb, but you managed to maintain the triangle and finish her off shortly afterwards!
Non8 - Try to stay higher up. Being pushed too far down puts you in danger, resulting in the bomb.
Rainbow UFO - Being pushed too far into the corner is bad, since you can barely damage Nue from there. Still though, you should be more cautious when trying to move to a better position. After that, you were just spamming bombs and trying to end it. Well, I should point out that focusing would increase your damage output if you're not at shotgun range, because there were plenty of moments where you were under Nue with no immediate threats, but you stayed unfocused.
Nightmare - You seem to be travelling pretty far upwards during the phase 1 laser splits, which may have contributed to the collision that you bombed to. Phase 2 was handled pretty well, despite the early panicbomb. As for phase 3, yeah, it's pretty normal to think that you found yourself in a safe area while finding yourself in a wall. You have to stay alert and keep reacting to the bullets until they actually materialize into the lasers.
Grudge Bow - Phase 1 and 2 captured at Lv1, yay! And whoa, you even captured phase 3 at Lv1, that's really impressive for a first clear! Phase 4 is pretty annoying though, but eh, I can't blame you for not bombing since you were probably optimistic about a capture and had enough resources to afford a wasted death here. Great performance here!
Overall - Excellent performance on the stage sections, especially on accumulating resources. Kogasa seemed a bit troublesome, but not too bad. You handled most of the Nue fight really well, with only a few specific areas that you had a really hard time on, like Undefined Darkness and Rainbow UFO. But you had enough resources to power through those anyway. Great performance at Grudge Bow; though it wasn't a capture, it was a nice finisher to your first UFO Ex Clear. Congratulations!

My first true EoSD Hard 1cc guys, the fruit of everything I've strived for, and my proudest achievement, this is my big love letter to EoSD as a whole, I'd be ecstatic if someone were to analyse it. replays.gensokyo.org/download.php?id=38361I actually seriously thought I was watching the wrong replay until I finished it, ehehe AnalysisStage 1 - Perfect clear, with decent item collection, I guess.
Rumia - Not interested in racking up lots of graze, eh? Still a perfect clear!
Stage 2 - And yet you bombed near the start? I'm not sure whether you care about score or not here... But the early bomb doesn't help too much if you don't get full power before Daiyousei. In any case, you still perfect cleared the rest of the stage!
Cirno - You should move further to dodge the wide bullet waves in Non1. Kinda like restreaming, actually. But you managed to perfect clear the rest of Cirno, which is pretty great!
Stage 3 - Great performance here! Avoided all the greed pitfalls and surviving while still collecting plenty of items. Stage sections and mid-Meiling all perfect cleared!
Meiling - Doing pretty well here. Not sure if the bombs on Dream Vine were necessary though, I'm guessing you usually have trouble with this spell? It's actually easier than it looks, since there are always rooms where you can avoid the bullets easily. Everything else was perfected except the final spell, which is pretty annoyingly dense, tbh.
Stage 4 - First set of kedamas were streamed really well. Second set, you could have streamed them really slowly like the first set but you chose to rush further ahead... which still wouldn't have doomed you, but it made it harder for you to continue streaming them. Anyway, you handled the red fairies pretty well, prioritizing killing them over the other enemies. Green books were bombskipped, which is understandable.
Perfect Koakuma, as expected. The kedamas were handled fine, even the last set which pushed you into the right corner. You should have stayed on the right though, instead of returning left and trapping yourself from all the bullets. At least you got some graze out of the lasers, heh.
Red fairies + books, you could have killed the second red fairy faster if you stayed directly under her, thus averting your collision with the bullets that killed you. As for the pure kedama section after that, I wouldn't recommend running around like crazy like that, but you were doing pretty well that way. Still had to bomb though. Streaming the bullets slowly and killing the kedamas early would make it a lot easier. Final set of hexagram fairies requires you to kill them faaaaast, so I can understand bombing once the bullets got hellish.
Patchy - You handled the Non-Directional Lasers really nicely, capturing them both! Wasn't expecting the Sylphae Horn bomb though. As for Agni Radiance, you'll want to stay under Patchy, and straying off can make it difficult to safely return under her. Forest Blaze seems to have been bombskipped, which makes sense since you had trouble with both Sylphae Horn and Agni Radiance.
Emerald Megalith is much easier if you try to stay higher up instead of hugging the bottom. As for Lava Cromlech, dodging may not be hard, but staying under Patchy can be annoying. Bombing there made sense. Overall, you did a good job of cutting down your resource loss despite not being able to capture any of Patchy's spells. She's the toughest boss in EoSD imo after all.
Stage 5 - Great dodging during the first part, well, until the end of the diamond bullets, ouch. As for mid-Sakuya, you'll want to be a bit higher up during her nonspell and avoid the kunai through an S path, instead of slipping between them. As for Illusional Misdirection, don't try to follow Sakuya around from side to side. Stick to one side (right or left) and dodge over there. Sakuya will meet you every other wave, which is more than sufficient for this spell.
The part after mid-Sakuya is easier than it looks, if you focus on the area around your character only. Bombing makes sense though. And then you streamed nicely to perfect the rest of the stage!
Sakuya - Death at the first nonspell, ouch. It can be pretty intense, but it helps to stay higher up to avoid the bullets, so that you can back down if it's necessary. I'm actually surprised that you turned left for Jack the Ludo Bile when Sakuya moved right; following her helps with the damage. Non2 was going pretty well, but it seems you misread the knife trajectory / hitbox and got hit in a simple pattern.
Moving to the side for The World, eh? I wouldn't really recommend that, but it evidently worked well here and you captured it! And you captured Non3 too, ooooh! Bombed once to Killing Doll and cleared Sakuya. 1/2 for the final stage, not sure if you can make it...
Stage 6 - Perfected the stage sections, nice! And you managed to avoid all the kunai and capture mid-Sakuya's nonspell too! Bombed to Eternal Meek, which was immediately refunded so you're still at 1/2 for Remilia.
Remilia - Ooooh, capturing Non1 is quite an achievement, given your general issues with hitbox alignment. And you captured Young Demon Lord too! Hmmm, I wonder if the original Japanese is Chibi Maou-chan. And you captured the Scarlet Shoot nonspell (Non3), perfect clearing Remilia so far! Needle Mountain was nicely handled with a single bomb. Non4 is lol.
Vampire Illusion tends to be pretty random, but Remilia was being nice to you for a while. It got a bit troublesome near the end, which was when you bombed. Last nonspell is pretty straightforward. Scarlet Meister gets pretty fast and dense on Hard, but you managed to dodge the first wave before dying to the second, and bombskipping till the end.
Scarlet Gensokyo with only 1 bomb, uh oh... and then you spent that bomb really early, that's really not a good sign. But then you managed to skillfully evade all the bullets and bubbles after that, wow. There were some moments where you weren't under Remilia, but you still remained patient and cautious adjusted your position without threatening yourself. Some of the dodges were pretty impressive, given your issues with hitbox alignment. And then you made it through and cleared Remilia!
Overall - I was actually pretty surprised at this run. The earlier stages (except Stage 1) didn't go as well as I would expect, and EoSD's stinginess made me feel unsure about whether you could make it (I doubted whether I was watching the right replay). But you handled the last two stages really well, with great resource management and an especially impressive Remilia fight. Although you didn't capture Scarlet Gensokyo, you survived everything from shortly after the early bomb, an impressive finisher to your first EoSD Hard 1cc. Congratulations!

UFO Lunatic looks brutal as hell, how did you pull all that off...? AnalysisStage 1 - So many freaking bullets. Very impressive maneuvering here. I actually thought that life piece would fall off, but you autocollected just in time. Perfect clear! Nazrin - Man, that final spell actually looks easier on Lunatic than Hard. Anyhow, perfect clear! Stage 2 - Pretty cool how you controlled the destruction of the yin-yang orbs for keeping everything less messy and facilitating UFO stuff. Not sure why you'd occasionally stop shooting against mid-Kogasa. Excellent timing on the UFO destruction in the second half. It got a bit messy later, but you managed to bomb out of it. Kogasa - That first spell, what the hell. Also, wow, I seriously never knew how to tackle the second nonspell on Lunatic. It seems a lot milder with this approach. Final spell was pretty tight but you managed to get through it nicely and capture it! Stage 3 - Great timing on the UFO, allowing you to avoid the hellish yin-yang rain. Ichirin's midboss spell looks pretty intimidating but the general approach seems the same as lower difficulties (with much denser bullets and more fists). The way you dodged the arrowheads on the first UFO after mid-Ichirin was pretty amazing. Abused a few bombs for the latter half, reaching Ichirin with 7/0. Ichirin - Spell #1 capture, whoaaa! That's seriously awesome! ...And then a relatively silly death at Non2 >_>. Doing really well on the hook spell, but it took quite a while, and you ended up bumping into a bullet . Ichirin seems so mean this run. At least you captured her final spell. Stage 4 - You summoned the red UFO almost right after the red token spawned... and you didn't bomb/die in the process. It may not seem like much, but I find this to be really impressive. The big fairy bullets are super dense, it seems, and you had to bomb out of it. Nice perfect Nue! Bombed shortly after... the bullets were slow but really dense. And then failed to stream fast enough while the red UFO was active, ouch. It seems like you were distracted by the UFO...? The rest of the stage was just UFO spammage to clear up bullets, but you at least you summoned one red UFO for resources. CAPTAIN MURASA - Her first spell is still really mild, eh? Nonspells are noticeably faster though, good job dodging through them. And you somehow made Spell #2 look a lot easier than it actually is... either that or I'm doing something horribly wrong whenever I try it on hard. Non-provoked bombskip on Non3, huh, what, I was not expecting that. I guess it's super dense/fast...? Penultimate spell is noticeably faster, and it seems you died due to not being able to deal with the water quickly enough before the next anchors. Dipper Creeping Close, okay, I was expecting you to mess up when there's less than 20 seconds left, but I never actually thought that the screwup would involve bullets spawning on your face <_<. She generates them too fast, it seems. Bombed right before the spell ended. 6/1 into Stage 5. Stage 5 - ...Okay, this is insane. All I can see are bullets flying everywhere and Reimu somehow maneuvering around them like crazy and abusing UFOs like hell. And somehow not dying at all. Well, okay, until much later, on the second yin-yang orb set. I can see why you bombed to Nazrin's nonspell there, but the bomb on her spell didn't seem provoked... were you trying to generate the extra UFOs from the big fairies? You managed to summon a red UFO that way, yay! Once the popcorn came in though, it got really hellish. Not surprised that you died there. I'm not sure whether you intended to summon a blue UFO (you were probably desperate for ANY UFO for screenclearing) but it gathered almost 100M points, despite this not being a scorerun . Shou - Wah, wasn't expecting that collision on Spell #1, ouch. Non2 lasers seem annoyingly fast, I can see why you'd bomb there. Aura of Justice seemed pretty easy at first (as it is in lower difficulties) but wow, some of the walls get pretty long and Shou moving around made it annoying to bring her down. You still managed to capture it though! Wonderful cheese at the final nonspell, I wish I could pull that off on Hard... Vajra is a pretty stupid spell, though I was actually expecting you to die from the green laser instead of a red bullet. Final spell was going well, until the pattern got annoying and you had to bombskip the rest. Stage 6 - Whoa, those yin-yang orb bullets are pretty dense now. You still managed to dodge through them, but you had to bomb to destroy the UFO. Actually, even the rain from the small fairies seemed really tough to get through, forcing you to stay on one side instead of spamming UFOs. Bomb at mid-Nue's first wave, but really impressive dodging at the last one. And it seems you triggered the point wall too, nice! Byakuren - Non1 actually seems scary now, but you captured it. The first spell even more so and whoa, you captured that too! Bombskip on laser nonspell, heh, I'm guessing it reaches Clownpiece's level of stupidity. I was actually expecting you to capture Magic Butterfly, but the overlapping butterflies incited you to bomb near the end. Well, it allowed you to skip mos of Non3 so you managed to clear that without any further bombs. HOW THE HELL ARE YOU MANEUVERING THROUGH MILKY WAY WITHOUT HITTING A SINGLE LASER??? And you even captured it too, whaaaaaat??? This is seriously mind-blowing, how you handled this. I dunno why, but I found it really funny how you were just sitting there and waiting for the bullet to hit you before deathbombing to skip Non4. Ooooh, Devil's Recitation gets pretty tough in its later non-timeout phases, but you managed to slip through the bullets and capture it anyway. Superhuman Hijiri looks much easier though, so I'm not surprised that you captured it. 5 lives at Flying Saucer, heh, yeah, you're 1ccing this. Wait a minute... Okay, wait, what? It was pretty crazy how you dodged all those cards from the earlier phases but once the red cards came in, those card patterns were insane! And you somehow still managed to just slip through all those and just, wow, this is just seriously amazing. Run ended with a wonderful capture of Flying Saucer with ridiculous dodges near the end, whoa! Overall - As a guy who can't even 1cc UFO Hard, it's probably not surprising that I found a lot of really amazing performances in this run. I'm especially impressed at the stage sections, where you somehow managed to avoid greed deaths and still spammed plenty of UFOs to keep your resources stocked (5 extra lives remaining at clear )... and you still strategically timing them for optimal screen clears while running around like a headless chicken and dodging everything 90% of the time. Boss battles were really great too, and it really shows how well you've prepared yourself for all the threats against you (okay, the Ichirin was kinda sloppy). Really amazing clear here, congratulations!

'sup Proto, missed me? Here's a gift. MoF Extra ClearHave fu-- Last Edit: Sep 1, 2015 at 3:06am by Proto fuck. uh. well anyone else can do it I guess. Why so scared of Suwako's streaming nonspells? AnalysisPre-Kanako - Great opener. Not sure how safe your approach for the first kedamas were, but you dodged them all. Fairies were easily handled. Bombed during the second kedama section, but gained the power back to reach Kanako at Lv5
Kanako - Nonspell captured, nice! Some close calls on the first spell (gotta love Reimu's haxbox) but it was captured too. Second spell too, which is pretty easy once you realize it's just vertical restreaming. Nice attempt at the last spell, but she drops more than 1.00 Power anyway so you might as well bomb it with no loss.
Post-Kanako - Good job with the big fairies. Green bullets can be pretty troublesome if you're not careful, though I don't think that bomb was actually necessary. As for the final set of popcorn fairies, you should stop moving around so much. The less you move, the easier it is to deal with, to the extent that it becomes a complete joke. At least you killed the last three fairies at the top though, so your two bombs were refunded.
Suwako
I see you preparing for that Bow Claps cheese there
Non1 - Her hardest nonspell imo. Nice deathbomb!
Bow Claps - I see you love cheese as much as I do~
Non2 - Panicbomb that probably wasn't necessary; not a fan of multi-directional threats?
Long Arms Long Legs - Didn't back down fast enough, causing you to get hit by Mettaton's annoying legs. Er, I mean, Suwako's lasers, yeah
Non3 - Rhythmic left/right movement for the first captured nonspell!
Iron Rings - I would really recommend that you wait for a bit at the center-top (for the rings to approach you) before backing down, but your approach seems to have worked well enough already. Cleared with only a single bomb!
Non4 - Calm down, it's just streaming >_>
Jade River - Left through the closings pretty well, but messed up the openings. Try not to delay your movements since you'll want to clear each wave before the next one gets in your way.
Non5 - Yeah, okay, you hate these multi-directional bullets, it seems.
Snake Eats Frog - Great job in slipping through the frogs and avoiding the snake that mercilessly devoured all the poor adorable frogs which distracted the snake; while you selfishly exploited this distraction to run away from the snake like a coward and leaving the poor frogs to die, you monster. Also, first non-cheesed Suwako capture in this run!
Non6 - Hey, c'mon, it's still easy rhythmic left-right dodging, what's with that bomb?
Seven Stones and Trees - Good job in consistently slipping through the stones, allowing you to capture this!
Non7 - Seriously, it's just more streaming, what's with these non-pressured bombs?
Froggy - You'll want to stay higher up whenever you get the chance btw. Anyhow, you were actually dodging this pretty well for a while, and then you bombed when it felt dangerous, which is fine. Then you died without spending more bombs, ouch. Well, at least you bombed at the end, even though it was not necessary.
Non8 - The bomb from after Froggy cleared up some bullets, so you could easily finish this off with basic stream- another bomb, wha...? Do you hate these streaming nonspells that much?
Red Frog - Large angles, yeah, you're screwed. This spell is really tough if you don't know what you're doing. You should have been ready to bomb once you realized that you were trapped instead of losing that life. At least you bombed a lot after that, reaching Great Suwa War with 0/Lv2
Suwa War - Really impressive dodging here, surviving all the way until there were only 7 seconds left! And then you bombed and survived until it ended, nice! Mishaguji-sama at 0/Lv4
Mishaguji-sama - Your slipping through the second wave was really scary, what were you thinking!? You did pull it off though, which is great! You dodged through a lot of waves really well until the collision... which you deathbombed out of, yay! And then you continued dodging, and bombed twice (not waiting for the collisions this time, thankfully) before clearing Suwako!
Overall - Not much to say about the stage sections or Kanako, because as far as survival goes, the optimal state of facing Suwako (Lv5, no deaths) is easy to secure, and you had no trouble in managing that. As for the Suwako fight, it's pretty strange but I think you performed much better on the later spells (except Red Frog) than the earlier spells, which is pretty cool. You also bombed to almost every nonspell, despite some of them being pure-streaming only. In any case, you did a great job of managing your resources, and succeeded at clearing Suwako. Congratulations!
