Code of Conduct
Welcome to Eientei!
Eientei’s main goal is to provide you with a friendly, laid-back environment where you can discuss ideas and share your thoughts. The rules in this page are a general guideline to this forum’s dos and don’ts. Any punishment related to inappropriate behavior not specified in the rules will be left to the moderators’ discretion.
When in doubt about anything, contact the mods. If they aren’t around and it’s an urgent issue, please poke someone else from the staff.

Golden rules:
1. Be respectful.
Any form of insult or harassment towards other members is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated. That includes your username and nickname. Keep it clean.
2. NSFW material is forbidden.
The posts made in this forum should be kept T-rated, as such, materials - written or otherwise- of sexual, violent or gory nature are forbidden. Mildly sexual content like swimsuits is allowed only under spoiler tags with “NSFW” tagged before it. Please adhere to proboards term of service:
18. OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT- You represent and warrant that you shall not use the Website or Services to upload, post, transmit, display, perform or distribute any content, information or materials that: (a) are libelous, defamatory, abusive, or threatening, excessively violent, harassing, obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or pornographic.
3. Requesting illegal download links is forbidden.
This forum doesn’t support piracy. Sharing links for the illegal distribution of games and or any other form of media isn’t allowed. However, you are free to share freeware or your own content provided that it follows this guideline.
4. Don’t be a troll and don’t bait trolls.
Should be self-explanatory.
TL;DR: Act like a respectful and civil human being and you should be safe from any heavy punishment.
Forum efficiency rules:
1. Multiple accounts are forbidden.
If you have someone else using the same network as you and is also a member of the forum, please notify the staff to avoid getting your accounts mistakenly nuked.
If you somehow forget your password and e-mail and have no way to contact anyone from the staff, create a new one and notify them about it.
2. There’s a limit to signatures.
Signatures have a maximum of 300 pixels in height, including text. If you want to add anything else you can do so as long as it is in a spoiler tag.
3. No double posting.
If you have something to add to your previous post, use the edit button.
This rule doesn’t apply to art topics, competitions and projects or threads whose very nature involves updates being made. This rule doesn’t apply to the Spam board and may or may not apply to the Roleplay board, depending on the Dungeon Master’s decision. (For more information on the rules for this specific board, click here.)
4. No spamming.
This rule is obviously moot in the spam board.
5. Stay on topic.
Don’t stray from the topic being discussed and post threads in the correct boards. If you are unsure about it speak with any member of the staff.
FAQ
“There’s this guy who thinks Alice solo is the best shot type, can I insult his mom?”
No, you can’t. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, even if 90% of the population disagrees with it. Instead, gently persuade them that Alice is better at putting up puppet shows than bringing the real moon back or that she’d win Project Runway faster than a shooting contest. If all fails, and even if it pains you forever, please try to carry on with your life.
“But look at that guy, not only does he think that shot type is good, he’s also proud he posted a replay with his crappy tactics. He should listen to everything I say, I’m the strongest in Touhou!”
Shut up, Cirno.
“Hey, that guy insulted my mom because I think Alice solo is the best, can I insult his mom back?”
No, you can’t. If you’ve been insulted or harassed and no staff member has intervened or you see someone behaving in an inappropriate manner, call the moderators. They’re probably bored anyway.
“But I have anger issues and/or electronic tourette’s!”
The guidelines are for everyone no matter what issues you may have. Count to ten before you post, if that doesn’t work, here’s some soothing music.
“This whole discussion about Alice got me punished and or banned and I think that decision was unfair. Is there something I can do?”
Yes, you have the right to appeal the decision. Send a private message to the moderators. If you got banned send an e-mail to t3h.twili@yahoo.co.uk
“Hey, I have like, a million of suggestions to improve the forum and I want to share them, can I?”
Yep, we’d love hear them. If you have any suggestion or complaint about the forum, please post them in the feedback board. This doesn’t include complaints about trolls and other fantasy related creatures, in that case contact the moderators directly, they’ve been vaccinated against rabies.
