No deaths though~ AnalysisStage 1 - Autocollected all items. Great Time management, especially with being almost always below -80%. Perfect cleared too, of course. Wriggle - Being able to secure the Time requirement before the second nonspell is pretty great! Perfect clear~ Stage 2 - Perfect clear, but you killed a lot of fairies too quickly, which makes me wonder if you can secure the Time threshold. If you're concerned about Time (irrelevant for 1cc survivals), then you should wait until the fairies deploy more familiars before killing them. Even better if the familiars are near a lot of bullets, since they would suicide when you kill the fairy and clear the bullets. Mystia - Perfect clear with Reimu Solo, yup, you were able to secure the Time threshold~ Stage 3 - Now from here onwards, I would strongly suggest picking Yukari for stage sections. Although Yukari does not gain Time by grazing during stage segments, her ability to attack enemies without hurting their familiars (like all youkai shots). This racks up a lot of time, especially when there are a lot of bullets being cleared by familiar suicide. This is more noticeable in higher difficulties, admittedly, but I think Yukari's general Time yield would still exceed Reimu's on Easy too. Keine - Okay, yeah, Reimu has an easier time against the nonspells here than Yukari does. It seems you had no trouble with beating Keine in unfocused mode only, in which case I'll have to admit that your decision to not switch to Yukari during the bossfight was a very good one. I was kinda worried about whether you'd capture the final spell (defending familiars >_>) but you made it in time! Stage 4 - Okay, you're switching to Yukari for the familiar fairies, this is really good and would contribute significantly to Time. Still though, you kept shifting back to Reimu so there were a few short moments where you were in the -80% to 80% range where your Time yield is reduced. In particular, there were multiple moments where you even outright jumped to 100% (by killing familiar fairies) but you kept trying to shift back to Reimu. This is a bad idea, since it takes time to drop from 100% to -80%, and it would be a waste if it ends up jumping back up to 100% anyway (by killing yet more familiar fairies and staying as Yukari while the Time orbs get collected). I would suggest simply sticking to Yukari once your meter leans heavily towards the positive direction, especially when it's at 100%. Marisa's Milky Way is kinda annoying, though I wasn't expecting you to collide into a star. Well, you fired a Last Spell there and were still able to reach Marisa with max lives/bombs, so there was nothing to worry about. Marisa - Wasn't expecting that star collision on Master Spark but this was otherwise nicely cleared. Note that the stars on Marisa's final spell are actually aimed at your sides so if you don't move at all, they'd just pass right by you (still gotta watch out for lasers sometimes though). You captured it anyway so it doesn't matter. Stage 5 - Opening up with Reimu really cut down your Time yield here (especially since killing familiars pushes you closer to 0%). In fact, you switched characters a lot during this stage in general that you Time yield was much lower than you'd expect, since there were a lot of moments between -80% and 80%. Since you'll really want to kill fairies with familiars in youkai mode, I'd honestly suggest sticking to Yukari for pretty much the entire stage (except for mobility e.g. autocollecting). At least you perfect cleared from a survival perspective! Reisen - Perfect clear! Not sure why you went to the left side of Idling Wave while Reisen was on the right side but whatever. Invisible Full Moon was captured through the normal trick. It's kinda hard to manage Time against Reisen because her nonspells deploy quickly enough that you'll want to autocollect asap (often resulting in Reimu getting the Time Orbs from the spell instead of Yukari) while you'd want Yukari to dodge the dense bullets. You still handled it quite nicely, but you failed to meet the Time threshold due to poor Time management during the stage sections, awww... Stage 6 - Perfect cleared. You collected most of the point items too. Time management could have been a bit better (too much switching between Yukari and Reimu), but well, at least there's no threshold for Stage 6 so it won't affect your Night Bonus. Your approach for Galaxy in a Pot looked very dangerous; I really hope you knew what you were doing while you captured it. Kaguya - Whoa, didn't even need to restream her first nonspell, eh? Not quite sure why you started at the side of Fire Rat's Robe with Yukari since only Reimu can destroy the familiars. I'm guessing it was only as a starting point for streaming, in which case I'd still recommend starting at the center since you'll want to restream and stay under Kaguya as much as you can if you plan to leave the familiars alive. In any case, this was a perfect clear, besides the Last Spells! Last Spells - Oh, man, your approach for the first one put you at really tight gaps, wow! And you captured it, yay! Too bad about the second one though, it costed you an hour... Third one too, ouch! Fourth one was going well, until you failed to stay in the safe path between the bullet walls. At least it was only a half-hour loss. Lasted for quite a while during the final one, enough for half an hour, I think, though it didn't matter since you reached 5 pm anyway and couldn't get any Night Bonus Overall - I assume this run was meant to be a scorerun since your survival skills were really good as you conquered most of the actual threats you were presented. Your scoring approaches worked pretty well for the most part, though there were some small issues here and there. In particular, a big issue was in switching between Reimu and Yukari. Note that when you kill fairies, you get more Time Orbs based on how many familiars they had alive (and even more depending on how much bullets the familiar suicide will clear). On the other hand, killing familiars (through Reimu) will push your gauge towards 0%. So for fairies that summon familiars, you'd really want to use Yukari instead of Reimu. It would also be a good idea to wait until fairies deploy their familiars before killing them, though this usually isn't too big a deal outside of Stage 2. This leads to the issue of switching characters mid-stage. Note that when you kill an enemy (or capture a spellcard), the Time Orbs are not obtained instantly; it takes time for the Time Orbs to be sucked on to you. This is very important in that you may sometimes switch characters before the Time Orbs reach you. Especially in Stage 3 onwards, killing fairies with familiars tends to provide a huge push to the phantom gauge of whichever type of character received the Time Orbs. For example, if you kill a familiar fairy with Yukari and then immediately switch to Reimu, then the gauge will get a huge boost towards the human side. Since the later stages are intense enough that you may have issues with ensuring that the Time points are collected by the right character while you keep switching, I'd suggest simply picking one side and sticking to it to ensure that you're always above 80% (if you picked youkai) or below -80%. I'd recommend human for Stages 1-2 (but switch to Yukari for familiar fairies) and youkai for Stages 3-6. Aside from those minor issues, this was still a nice run. Too bad about the lack of Night Bonus though (which is like, THE most important component of IN scoring). You may want to practice those Last Spells more on Spell Practice if you're serious about IN scoring. That being said, with your amazing survival skills, I would also suggest considering trying other Touhou games that may be tougher, or even move on to Normal Mode if you think you're ready. Because this IN Easy run here was quite a good one. Congratulations!

Are you serious about seeking an analysis for the run? I'm getting the impression that you're already an excellent IN Lunatic player and somebody like me (who only barely 1cc'd IN Lunatic) wouldn't be able to help you much. I mean, I don't mind actually watching and analyzing this replay, and I'd be happy if I can help in any way, but I just want to make sure your posting this replay here wasn't actually just a joke. Note the following points in the opening post: - My main objective in this thread is to help others improve in Touhou. Therefore, please do not use this thread solely as a medium for you to advertise your Touhou skills through my analyses. If you only want to showcase your replays, please visit this thread instead. - Currently, I mainly play on Hard and Extra Modes and mostly analyze Easy/Normal runs. Therefore, it is very possible that my analyses of higher-difficulty replays (e.g. Lunatic) may be filled with ignorance and inexperience. However, I do believe that even a lower-skilled player's perspective may be useful for a higher-skilled player, so I would encourage submitting higher-difficulty replays nonetheless. Just please don't expect too much from them.

It's not a joke. That run has a lot of mistakes and I'm not an excellent player, at all. Even though I might know more about IN, you might still know something I don't. I don't want to show off my petty skills as well so you can just PM me your analyses, if that works. Sorry :<

It's not a joke. That run has a lot of mistakes and I'm not an excellent player, at all. Even though I might know more about IN, you might still know something I don't. I don't want to show off my petty skills as well so you can just PM me your analyses, if that works. Sorry :< Ah, okay. I apologize for exaggerating your proficiency in IN, it seems I mistook you for another player (and I wouldn't really consider a 4B clear as being "terrible" by my standards). Thank you for the clarification. I would still prefer to post the analysis here in the thread (when I get around to it later) so that other players can benefit from it, but this is entirely your call, so I'll go with PMs unless you change your mind. Well, it was certainly an entertaining replay... AnalysisStage 1 - Standard perfect clear with all items autocollected.
Wriggle - Killing familiars is bad for your gauge... Perfect clear, as expected.
Stage 2 - Going pacifist to wait for fairies to deploy familiars, eh? That helped your Time a lot, though you also ended up killing a lot of familiars anyway. Perfect clear.
Mystia - Just barely unlocked the Last Spell. Perfect clear.
Stage 3 - Too much familiar killing. Seriously, just stick to Yukari to kill everything if you care about your Time. Perfect clear again.
Keine - Her nonspells are much easier when you're a human, y'know. Had to bomb to both nonspells. Delayed autocollection helped maintain the youkai side of the gauge. Wasn't expected the Orb bomb but I suppose it can be hard to read. I wouldn't recommend hogging the absolute bottom for the Last Spell, but you captured it anyway.
Stage 4 - Great job at maintaining the youkai side side of the gauge. Dropped a lot of items though but eh, not a big deal. Mid-Marisa was meh. Milky Way is annoying, expected panicbomb. I found it funny that you turned so far around Marisa in Stardust Reverie. And then you got hit and fired a Last Spell, ouch. There was some epic dodging in the second half here. Also, you dropped A LOT of items throughout the stage.
Marisa - ...did you really collide into an incoming laser in Non-Directional Laser? Well, at least you deathbombed to it. You captured the nonspells and Master Spark though, yay. For Earth Light Ray, if you're not going to stream it, then you should not delay in taking opportunities to avoid the stars. This lets you deal with the lasers after you deal with the stars in which wave. It didn't seem like you had any idea on how to Final Spark, so if you really want to capture it, I'd suggest grinding on Spell Practice since it's a very deterministic spell that can be memorized.
Stage 5 - That bullet collision at the start >_>. You handled everything else okay though. Tewi approach looked really dangerous and yup, you died at her second attack. For the big fairies in the second half, it may be a good idea to memorize their spawn locations, so you can kill them without having to deal with too many bullets. Also, your Time management was kinda a mess throughout this stage, but it could've been worse.
Reisen - Last Spell fired on the first spell, oh, boy. This is a completely static pattern. Your chosen route screwed you over so maybe you should Spell Practice to find a more reliable route. Last Spell on the second nonspell too, okay, that was a failed micrododge. For Visionary Tuning, stop staying so low on the screen. When the bullets disappear, you'll want to move up as far as you can (but stay below the center line) so you can back down when the bullets reappear. It's still captureable with focused-only movement, but I'd recommend switching to Reimu when relocating.
As for Idling Wave, the first iteration actually has a safespot in the bottom-center. As for actually dodging it properly (as well as the other iterations), you'll want to slip through the bullets and rush to the center as quickly as possible. Easily Reisen's most difficult spell in Normal imo. Spell Practice is your friend. Finally, Invisible Full Moon, okay, looks like you're doing this ri- *collide into a blue bullet* ...nvm, that was hilarious. Be more careful about those next time. Funny ragebomb right after that too. Couldn't meet the Time threshold because poor Time management during stages + awful Reisen fight.
Stage 6 - Opening is pretty brutal, expected bomb. You should anticipate it and bomb normally instead of firing a Last Spell, since this is a common tough spot. The rest of the stage was handled really well, with the last Extend obtained. ...Until you died at Eirin's nonspell. You just sat there and let the blue bullets hit you directly, huh, what? Probably too distracted by the diamond bullets. Galaxy in a Pot seemed to go fine, but you should be careful about where you move. Another Last Spell out. 4/2 for Kaguya is still good.
Kaguya - Nice restreaming for the nonspell. Avoid hogging the absolute bottom though. Stay higher up and don't hesitate to take opportunities to go through the gaps between bullet clusters as you stream/restream. Dragon's Necklace had... a really silly Last Spell during the first wave. Well, it's difficult enough that I'd expect you to Last Spell anywa- oh, come on, you had to die right after that >_>.
For the next nonspell, you fired a bomb and a Last Spell. Note that if you're anticipating a bomb, you're better off using Reimu's bomb at long range, because Yukari's has a pretty short range. Buddha's Stone Bowl was going fine, but you unfortunately got overwhelmed by a dense set of stars and died. Which was fine, but... the ragebomb after that was really unnecessary. Third nonspell is annoying, spending only one bomb on it is cool. Fire Rat's Robe was going fine, but misaligned positioning while streaming led to a collision with a Last Spell.
Last nonspell was really well captured actually, I'm impressed by those dodges! Swallow's Cowrie Shell was really nicely captured too! As for Rainbow Danmaku, oh, boy. First of all, during the opening wave, after you become surrounded by bullets, you'll want to leave as early as you can. After that, well, you'd want to stream the aimed bullets vertically while you can, at least until the circular bullets get really evil, which is around the time Kaguya's armor breaks (about 48s left on the timer). Also, since Kaguya has boss armor until that point, it may be more worthwhile to switch to human form and kill as many familiars as you can in order to weaken the threat of the aimed bullets, though Reimu probably wouldn't kill more than one or two familiars.
Last Spells - Nice handling of the first spell. Excellent precision allowed you to capture it without noticeable restreaming. Misalignment on the second one is common since it's pretty tight. Third one though, you should avoid getting pushed down, and you should take any opportunities you find to slip through bulets to get to safer rooms. Fourth one is just streaming the bubbles, but once again, you were misaligned with the bullet walls. The final spell was going really great, surviving for as long as 4 seconds remaining, before getting hit after being driven to a corner.
Overall - Reisen and Kaguya really wrecked you... pretty badly. I'd recommend abusing Spell Practice to master all their spells. Aside from that, you handled everything else reasonably well, though there were a lot of really silly collisions from time to time. This is probably due to inconsistent levels of concentration, but at least the Last Spell system cut down the amount of deaths incurred by such mistakes. Not sure how serious you were about Time management, but the main advice I can give there is to stick to one character for most of the stage segments. Since focused mode is invaluable for killing fairies with familiar shields, I'd suggest using Yukari more for Stages 3-6. You still handled it pretty well for the most part. In any case, this was a pretty solid 1cc with some epic dodges at some sections. Congratulations!

replays.gensokyo.org/download.php?id=37073 I'd like some advice to be more likely to perfect this extra stage, maybe also a route for Moriya's Iron Ring because I forgot (still 50% capture rate, so I'd survive without I guess.) but rather the sure in front of the unsure.

Always better to boost the odds AnalysisPre-Kanako - Excellent faith management, allowing you to get the first Extend pretty early. Killing enemies was really efficient here.
Kanako - Slipping through tight gaps in the nonspell, nice! Standard captures, perfect clear
Post-Kanako - Perfect clear. Approach for the last few sets of popcorn fairies seemed a bit risky, but scores more points, I guess.
Suwako
Clap and Bow - Not cheesed but efficiently captured nonetheless.
Long Arms, Long Legs - Straightforward capture
Iron Ring - (not Onion Rings, because your approach was mostly fine) You handled the ascension just fine, but your issue was in descending. In my experience, when you're at the absolute top, you should stay there until right before the rings hit you before rushing to the bottom in order to secure easy captures (without heavy dodging). You descended too early in each iteration, which is why it got messy.
Jade River - Whoa, you went through the opening without having to deal with any bullets at all? I need to learn how you did that! (All my captures involved at least one moment of dodging bullets from behind)
Nonspell #5 - Oooookay, wasn't really expecting you to get hit there. Ouch, too bad.
Snake eats Frog - Nicely captured~
Seven Stones and Trees - Interesting approach. Looks risky but it worked well enough to capture.
Froggy - Wouldn't recommend starting at the bottom, but you did a good job of actively ascending whenever given the opportunity, and captured this easily!
Red Frog - This is a really annoying spell. Basically, you'll want to prioritize minimizing the angles in which Suwako turns. Note that Suwako covers quite a large distance with each leap, so trying to lure Suwako to cover small empty areas (which would normally sound like a good idea for a pattern that creates danger zones) will often backfire since it results in unwanted angles that will mess up the danger zones. Your best bet would be to keep Suwako's leaps as horizontal as possible throughout the entire duration of the spell as you circle around the screen. Although you failed to capture this, you pulled off some pretty amazing dodges in the second half.
GREAT SUWA WAR - Last five seconds are evil. That's all I need to say. You did really well surviving for that long though.
Mishaguji-sama - I noticed some diagonal or square movements which look scary but eh, whatever. Nice capture!
Overall - Solid No-Bomb run, nice score too. Handled all of the spells really well, except with minor fixable screwups on Iron Ring, Nonspell #5 and Red Frog. If Suwa War stops being so mean, I think you can even NMNB this stage! Pulling off a NB for MoF Extra is pretty impressive. Congratulations!

Although I had meant to analyze your cleared replay, I accidentally had the wrong replay saved and ended up watching and analyzing this failed attempt instead. I apologize for my mistake and will try to analyze your cleared run as soon as I get the chance to. AnalysisPre-Keine - Ooooh, yeah, vertical opener! The stage section was extremely well done, with every single enemy murdered and every item collected (as far as I could observe).
Keine - Leaving the absolute bottom at all for the first spell is like, really dangerous to dodge, even between separate iterations of the attack. It's simpler to deal with them purely horizontally, at least for me.
For the second spell, though you pulled off a lot of amazing dodges, I would not recommend staying as high as possible for this spell. Try to look for opportunities to slip through the gaps while they're still wide (or predict that they will become wide enough) rather than wait for them to come to you.
Final spell was a nice capture, good job!
Post-Keine - Oh, finally, you let some items drop, hehe. That's to be expected since killing the fairies has higher priority. Also, those oval bullets, wow. I know they're not difficult at all if you stay calm and dodge them slowly, but you were getting really jumpy and still dodged them all. Final fairy was cheesed by Border Team safespot, hehe. You don't have to kill the fairy for the 1up btw, she'd drop it anyway, in case you weren't sure.
5/0 on Mokou is really great, actually. No deaths yet~
Mokou
Moon Curse - Handled this pretty well. There was one moment where I thought you were done for, but you managed to slip through the green bullets... only to get hit by the next wave, ouch. Your general approach was fine, this seems to be just a precision error.
Flying Phoenix Nonspell #2 - Wasn't really expecting you to get hit here, at that moment. You weren't really trapped or anything so all I could say is try not to get too careless during milder attacks.
Flying Phoenix - Um, not sure what you're going for, but casually circling around the screen isn't gonna help much. You need to stream strategically here. Wait until Mokou fires a phoenix before you move to dodge it. After she fires a single phoenix, I'd suggest backing up a bit, near the wall of bullets, before dodging the next phoenix, in order to minimize the total displacement of your streaming before you need to "restream". Multiple phoenixes is a good time time to "restream" (change direction). Again, you'd want to stay near the bullets that are opposite the direction that you want to move towards for the next phoenix.
Oh, and I strongly advise you to stay close to the edge at all times, preferably the bottom for most of the time, but being close to the side edges at the start or end of each stream run are okay too. Just don't get pushed to like, the top half of a side edge. Once mastered, Flying Phoenix should be one of Mokou's easier spells, so Spell Practice is recommended.
Flaw of Forgiving Shrine - Oh, apparently the cheese (which is not only limited to Mokou's wing, it seems, but extends across the whole line) doesn't require you to be Reimu. Yukari can pull it off too, it seems. Still not sure if it's a Border Team thing or whether everyone else can pull it off though.
Nonspell #4 - High density, understandable bomb, though the later nonspells get worse so I wonder how you'd handle them...
Xu Fu's Dimension - Border Team at absolute bottom, haha, good luck, Mokou.
Nonspell #5 - Bomb at high density, yeah, that's to be expected.
Honest Man's Death - Handled this really well, making sure to give yourself enough room to dodge the lasers. In fact, your approach with respect to direction and distance decisions is completely identical to mine. Too bad you screwed up turning near the end though, resulting in a Last Spell.
Nonspell #6 - I find this easier than the previous nonspell, actually, but you got hit anyway. You weren't overwhelmed when you got hit here though (the space was relatively empty) so not sure how you screwed up here.
Hollow Giant Woo - Oh snap, I never actually thought of tackling the spell in this manner. My approach, though effective, involved dodging a lot more bullets, and at annoying trajectories too. Thanks for teaching me an easier method! Sadly, you still got hit and fired a Last Spell. Something to note about spells like Woo where you need a specific approach is that you should continue executing your approach even while you bomb. Moving around unnecessarily after bombing could make the pattern much, and there's not much you can gain while both you and Mokou are invincible during this time. Fujiyama Volcano tends to be especially brutal about this.
Nonspell #7 - I actually think you could have dodged this, but a panicbomb makes sense. Though Border Team has a huge window for Last Spells even during nonspells, so it may help to avoid panicbombing if you have only one bomb left so that you can rely on the Last Spell if you really need it. If you have more than two bombs, panicbombing may be better since Last Spells will use up two bombs.
Phoenix Tail - Better to stick to the area near the center, like one-third of the screen's width, rather than get pushed to the side and lose your high damage output. You handled the micrododging pretty well, but I guess it was the reactive component that killed you i.e. you couldn't quickly determine the best place to move to in order to dodge the incoming wave.
Nonspell #8 - You fired one Last Spell, which is worth two bombs. Believe it or not, I find this to be really impressive for this attack. That was some amazing dodging in the second half!
Due to how crazy this attack is, I would still suggest actively firing panicbombs, rather than spend two bombs on a Last Spell. Despite doing more damage, Last Spells are not very efficient for really evil stuff like this.
Fujiyama Volcano - Or better known as Mokou's Run Ender. Circling around Mokou is not something that I ever tried, myself, though your attempt clearly demonstrated that it won't work, at least not for the third wave.
What I rely on instead is restreaming. After she stops firing those red arrowhead lines, you should take a big leap ahead (to misdirect the next explosion and prevent previous explosions from interfering with your plan) and then stream in the opposite direction, since she'll fire more red arrowhead lines and/or aimed exploding familiars (depending on which wave) after that. It's only the third wave that gets annoying because of all the red bullets making it hard to stream quickly enough.
Possessed by Phoenix - Starting from the center, lolwut, that's the first time I've ever seen anyone do that in a serious run. Not that it matters, since the first phase is easy. Aaaaaaand you got hit, and it wasn't even especially dense either, soooo I'm gonna scold you again for relaxing during easy parts.
As for the second phase, well, you shouldn't just circle around mindlessly. You'll want to look ahead of your path and check how safe it is. Often you may want to take a turn earlier than anticipated. The first hit here was understandable. Second one? Nope, it was relatively safe when you got hit by the bullet. That was actually pretty careless, especially since this is the toughest phase of the spell so you'd want to concentrate for this phase at least.
Third phase went fine but... why are you doing it focused? You'll want the unfocused speed. Same with the final phase, which you unfortunately had to bomb to. I'm not entirely sure, but I think you were kinda hesitating about whether to keep circling around or something. Your movements just felt... restrained, somewhat, I don't know, I'm just rambling. Don't mind me. But I would recommend abusing Spell Practice to become more comfortable with this spell.
Hourai Doll - Well, your approach for this is completely different from mine, because well, it seems the blue bullets actually became a problem for you. Got hit before the red arrowheads, okay, that's not looking too good. And then you tried to stream the red arrowheads into a corner, getting hit and dy-

Oh, Kanako, please tell me this didn't just happen. I'm so sorry. I just realized right now that I downloaded the wrong replay. No, seriously, I thought this was your IN Ex Clear but it seems I ended up downloading the failed attempt. I'm really sorry about this mistake, and I'll analyze the proper replay later. As soon as I get time tomorrow. I'll still leave this analysis here, since I wrote all this and you may find it useful nonetheless, but I will get to your cleared run afterwards.
Hourai Doll - Continuing on what I was about to say, the aimed red arrowheads should be misdirected, not streamed into a corner.
Overall - I know this isn't your cleared run so for all I know, you may have fixed all or most of your issues already. Still though, from this run, I realized that you were like, pretty jumpy. And there were a bunch of careless mistakes too, which makes me wonder if you were really at full concentration while attempting this. Still, though, you seemed to have a good understanding of most of the spells, but you might want to Spell Practice more to secure consistent captures. And once again, I'm really sorry for analyzing the wrong replay and I'll get to the actual one when I can.

So Youkai + Reimu.

It's fine, like I said, my big trouble areas are the same either way (Fujiyama volcano, Possessed by Phoenix, Hourai Doll) Alright then, thank you for forgiving me of my mistake~ So basically everyone except non-Reimu human solos. Bad news for Youmu solo score-hoggers. I'm just upset that Marisa Solo (who is even better than Magic Team imo) can't abuse it yes let's AnalysisPre-Kanako - Good placement of options helped a lot with managing your Faith. I'm not sure about whether your approach for the last set of big fairies was optimal, but you did kill them all, so it was good.
Kanako - Perfect clear, as expected. It seems you really mastered the technique of quickly moving without altering option placement, nice!
Post-Kanako - Very nicely done, with a few bombs for scoring purposes and lots of items collected.
Suwako
Two Claps and One Bow - lolcheese
Long Arms, Long Legs - Marisa's fatness made this look scarier than it should. Captured as well.
Iron Rings - You ascended and descended too quickly. If you weren't using MarisaC, the rings would likely have been hellish to get through for the next wave. Buuuuuuut since you were using MarisaC, you got enough damage in to capture the spell before you could be punished for your approach.
Jade River - Nicely captured. It seems you mastered the opening too!
Snake Eats Frog - Okay, this is normally an easy spell but being able to circle around Suwako like that without losing your options is quite impressive!
Seven Stones and Trees - Yeah, at that situation, it probably would have been safer to bomb it like you did. Marisa has such strong bombs...
Froggy - Welp, there goes two-thirds of your Faith. Anyway, the main problem here was that you kept staying at the bottom without trying really hard to get up. Though I suspect being locked to focused mode made it a lot harder to ascend, and the pattern is too intense for you to try speeding up without losing option placement. Still, once you realized you'll have a hard time leaving the bottom, you should try to be more conscious of the possibility of having to bomb, in order to be able to react in time.
Red Frog - lol, even though this is a survival spell, your movements still involved quick unfocuses to maintain option placement. It's nice that it became a habit. Anyway, regarding the actual spell itself, you did a rather poor job of leading Suwako around. What you'd want to do is minimize the angles of Suwako's leaps. After each leap, you should be conscious of where Suwako's location is (even if offscreen) and position yourself so that the next leap will be made at a really small angle from the previous leap. This results in the danger zones overlapping better to keep your road clear. You want Suwako's leaps to be as horizontal as possible while you slowly circle around the screen. Also, I'm fairly sure you could have delayed that second bomb and manage to pull through with only two bombs spent.
GREAT SUWA WAR - Bomb at 43 seconds... And then a death shortly after that, ouch! You'll want to try starting each wave near an edge (left edge imo) and move towards the right as you dodge the bullets and "suns" before returning to the left edge. The center is a bad place to start because bullets will curve from both sides, making th dodging annoying. Anyway, second bomb at 20 seconds, okay, I was expecting it to be a bit later but that's fine. You spent two bombs on the last 20 seconds, which is normal.
Mishaguji-sama - I still can't understand how all of you guys can move in squares to dodge pure criss-crossing bullets >_>. Anyway, standard and expected capture, and I'm not sure if it's just my imagination that tells me that this was cleared faster than usual. Probably MarisaC being too good.
Overall - Nice solid run, with most of the stuff being handled really well. The only real issues were Froggy, Red Frog, and Great Suwa War. Froggy seems to be more of a shot type disadvantage so be careful with that. Red Frog and Suwa War seemed more to do with ineffective methods, so you may want to refine your approaches for those to become more proficient in them. Good scoring techniques and Faith management, combined with general survivability against Suwako, secured a very high score (for my standards, at least). Congratulations!

Analyzed Zigzagwolf's 90 fps MoF Ex Clear. The replay can be found here: replays.gensokyo.org/download.php?id=37092AnalysisPre-Kanako - Very nice streaming for the popcorn fairies, considering the speed. Dodging bullets from the last set of kedamas also looked really impressive.
Kanako - Nice captures. Very good precision for 90 fps.
Post-Kanako - Bombing the big fairies, eh? I guess they'd be really annoying at this speed. It's nice that most of this half is macrododging, which shouldn't be too bad in 90 fps. Bombed to the last set of fairies, probably just for security since full power would be secured anyway.
Suwako
Nonspell #1 - Insane speed! Bombed
Bow and Clap - Nice capture! To be fair, it is mostly macrododging once you know the trick.
Nonspell #2 - Awww, I thought you'd attempt this. Ah, well, bombskipped.
Long Arms, Long Legs - Wow, I didn't know that you could afford to fall so low before rising up. Captured as well~
Nonspell #3 - At least the good old periodic left-right movements seem to work fine at 90 fps.
Iron Ring - You learned a new approach, it seems, that works really well. Still macrododging, so 90 fps didn't seem to be much of an issue here.
Nonspell #4 - Pure trivial streaming remains trivial, hehe
Jade River - Trick spell with little to no precision or speed factors = 90 fps friendly
Nonspell #5 - Multi-directional barrage? Yeah, bombskipping.
Snake Eats Frog - Now this one does require precision AND speed, so yeah, bombskipped. Twice, in fact, because bomb damage immunity is annoying. ...I just realized that this is the first spell you failed to capture here.
Nonspell #6 - Periodic left-right movements may be trivial, but being at the bottom here demands more precision, so a 90 fps capture is quite impressive here imo.
Seven Stones and Trees - Your approach still works really well, eh? Had to bomb once, but all the other waves were smoothly handled.
Nonspell #7 - Bomb had nothing to do with 90 fps, I think, it was purely due to the pattern being mean to autocollection attempts.
Froggy - Oh snap, this sounds like it would be hell. One death (ouch) and two bombs here, yeah, this was as bad as I imagined it.
Nonspell #8 - Ah, you remembered that this one wasn't autocollect-friendly either so you calmly streamed it, nice
Red Frog - Doing fine... okay, got into a corner, bomb. Still doing fine... oh, what the heck? Oh, man, I'm sorry, but watching that death was really hilarious. I'm dying here... And then you just went all crazy to burn the timer and got clipped, oh, wow! I'm sorry, I know this is really rude but I just can't stop laughing. By far the most entertaining attempt at Red Frog I've ever seen. 90 fps makes it a blast to watch.
GREAT SUWA WAR - Handled fine until like, 20 seconds left. Then it was just "bomb like crazy". Actually, this perfectly fits all of my own Suwa War attempts! Of course, you'd normally be able to perform much better than this, but 90 fps made this spell look like a serious attempt at getting your first MoF Ex Clear.
Mishaguji-sama - Considering the density and precision of this spell, I was amazed that you lasted so long in 90 fps without panicking. I actually thought you'd be survive till the final health phase. You probably thought so too, since you didn't anticipate that death, ouch. Got a lot more bomb-happy near the end, even ended up dying (first death with 0 bombs remaining in this run, lol) but had enough resources to brute-force your way to victory!
Overall - Great run! Very entertaining to watch, especially that Red Frog. A lot of moments demonstrated great skill too, despite all the screwups scattered throughout. I imagine if I watched this at 60 fps, it would look like a player trying to get his first Ex clear ever. Anyhow, this was really entertaining to watch, and despite the hilarious screwups, you did secure the 90 fps Ex Clear. Congratulations!

You sure did! AnalysisStage 1 - Expected Perfect Clear. A few items were dropped, but not too much of an issue. Rumia - Could've grazed a lot more, very disappointing Perfect Clear, of course. Stage 2 - Another perfect clear. Took quite a while to reach full power though. I'm pointing that out because full power is important for scoring, and the 60M Extend isn't always obtained in an Easy run. Then again, I don't have any doubts about your ability to 1cc EoSD Easy, given your record. But I still had issues getting to 60M in Normal so it might be worth pointing out. Cirno - Perfect cleared again. Icicle Fall safespot, hehe Stage 3 - Mid-Meiling doesn't have a collision hitbox in the dialogue after you take her out. Got hit by a kunai column, okay, I wasn't expecting that but I guess they could get pretty tight and get annoying without a visible hitbox. Meiling - Nice deathbomb at the start! You don't want to move too much during Meiling's second nonspell, since the kunai are aimed, so you should just calmly sidestep them. Colorful Rain got a bit intense but you bombed through it so it was fine. Stage 4 - Streeeaaaaaaaaaaamiiiiiiing! Also, when you see hexagram fairies (red fairies), you should try to shoot them asap. Don't worry about the kedamas, since killing a red fairy will clear all the bullets anyway, allowing you to move on to the next red fairy (if any) or just stream the rest of the bullets. Still, though, the first death was well after the streaming bit was over, so I guess you got careless. Green books went fine, though one of the bullets grazed you really close. Nice deathbomb on Koakuma. Auto-collecting when the blue books arrive, yeah, not surprised you bombed there. ...Not sure how you got hit by a bullet during the blue books, despite sitting at a pretty wide room. Oh, the books are invincible, you can't actually kill them. And as usual, it's better to target the red fairies first. You survived the pure kedama streaming section really well, despite your approach not resembling streaming at all . For the last section, try to kill the red fairies one by one, since the bullet clear will give enough time to move on to the next red fairy. Patchy - Hmm, you avoided slipping between the bullets during the nonspells. Still perfect cleared them just fine though. So close to capturing Princess Undine, but I guess you panicked at the lasers. They're less scary if you stream them. At least you slipped between the bullets in Mercury Poison, since you couldn't hit Patchy otherwise. Captured at the last second, nice! Stage 5 - It seems you were actually concentrating seriously this time, given the precision in your dodges. For the part before mid-Sakuya (when fairies fire bullet rows from the corners), you'll want to move unfocused and take every opportunity you can to avoid incoming walls. You died here, but at least you didn't have bombs remaining, so it wasn't a waste. Mid-Sakuya nonspell death >_>. Try to stay under Sakuya. Despite the narrowness of the knife path, the kunai will never wall you. Safespot is fine too, if you prefer that. As for Misdirection, this is the most purest example of a streaming spell (no wonder you screwed up and bombed). Just stream the kunai and knives really slowly. And try to stick with one side rather than move around the screen. Yes, Sakuya alternates between moving left and right, but if you stay in just one side, you'll hit her enough to take her out quickly. The part after Sakuya (which can be avoided if you spend too long with Misdirection btw) actually looks a lot more intimidating than it is. Just keep your eyes on your character, and dodge the incoming bullets as they arrive. Don't look around, since that's scary. As for the final wave of fairies (which you died and bombed to), well, note that the bullets spread out with somewhat significant gaps, so you'll often want to slip between the bullets as opposed to treating them as a wall and being pushed up to the tighter areas. Sakuya - Nice capture on the first nonspell, Clock Corpse, and second nonspell! Luna Clock can be a big annoying, since the knives are on multiple directions. Try to be prepared to bomb if you're not sure how well you'd be able to attack. As for the final spell, you can either try to stay high up and just avoid the clusters of knives (macrododging), or stay low and try to position yourself between the array of knives. I'd recommend the former, since the latter requires quite some precision (involves slanted knives too) but it depends on you. As for Marionette, you actually did a pretty good job of surviving for a while. Staying at the bottom could often screw you over, so you'd want to stay higher up, to expand the possible routes you can move to. Nice deathbomb there too. Overall - A lot of silly screwups in this run, generally leading to deaths despite having bombs remaining. I guess you weren't really concentrating during some parts. Well, Easy Mode is kinda relaxing after all. It seems you had a harder time with the stage portions of Stages 4 and 5 than their bosses. And uh, looks like you still can't get yourself to stream at all, haha. Still though, you performed well enough for the stages and did really good for the bosses that you managed to 1cc this. Congratulations!

Well I'm glad you asked! Analysis:pastebin.com/603C2i5GStage 1 - gj doing my approach regarding grazing the bullets in the very beginning. ...Aw, don't let the point items fall. You would've been at 2 power and would've taken down Kisume faster! Oh well, you still perfected her, which isn't a surprise. A few close calls during Tsurobe-Otoshi, though. Best thing to do with that one is stay under her as much as you can. Rest of the stage is done well, though you really need to graze and get those items! Being at 3 power for Yamame would've been nice, you know? Yamame - First nonspell and Cave Spider's Nest are both done well, gj. Second nonspell is dealt with well, and ooh, will you capture Unexplained Fever? ...Deathbomb! Eh, that spell is a little tricky at first, anyway, but thankfully I think it's static? Either way, don't be discouraged by deathbombing it. You still did well. Stage 2 - Not the ideal approach I'd take for Green Eyed Invisble Monster (I'd rather move down under her slowly and deal as much damage as possible), but you still perfected midboss Parsee, so no complaints. Rest of the stage is dealt with well. Finally at full power! Parsee - Nice use of gapping for Hanasaka's, but it sure took a while! Large Box and Small Box was taken down quite quickly. Man, Yukari's strong, isn't she? She even took out Day 7 before it could even look intimidating. Perfect Parsee. gj! Stage 3 - You could afford to move slower while streaming the yin-yang orbs at the beginning. Dodging the lasers and the bullets is done well...and perfect midboss Yuugi! You're on a roll, man. Expected streaming next, and then what seems to be a panicbomb. Eh, better to bomb than risk losing a life. You deathbomb a little later, but that was pretty good since you got a bunch of items after that as well as, well, not dying. That section is pretty tricky, anyway. At Yuugi with 2.80 power. Yuugi - Okay, that was definitely a panicbomb during her first nonspell. You would've survived, I'd say. It isn't so bad! Shackles proves to be a joke like always, and you captured her second nonspell, nice! Mt. Ooe time. Ooh, you decided to bombskip it with the two bombs you had. The first one was definitely a panic one, and I guess you decided you wanted to end the spell ASAP, resulting in the second bomb. Mt. Ooe looks intimidating, but I find taking it slow with short unfocused bursts at times gets the job done. Expected death to her final nonspell. Man, that thing is annoying. And then you bomb near the end of it. >_> Better safe than sorry, I suppose! You might've been able to slip past the gap you bombed in Knockout in Three Steps, but once again, better safe than sorry. It sucks you're going into Stage 4 with no power, though. Stage 4 - Expected bomb at the beginning, though you were handling it quite well before you were prompted to. Handled the dodging well after that, but then you panicbombed to the last set of lasers. Gah, don't be afraid to stack up graze, Proto. Having such low power doesn't go well with midboss Orin. You handled dodging her first wave well, but then you were overwhelmed and lost your second life of the run to the blue bullets. Panicbombed after the midboss, which didn't really seem to help you much. Used a bomb during the streaming section. Hmm, you might want to graze against the orbs shot at you so you can be able to obtain the power that cascades down. Just be careful of the placement of the green cards. You survive the rest of the stage well before bombskipping the final big fairy. At least it brought you back to 1 Power. My biggest critique here is that you need to secure more power, because SA isn't very kind when one has low power. Satori time. Satori - Handled her first nonspell well, but then you tripped up Terrifying Hypnotism and proceeded to bomb. And then you died to her next wave. It helps to make small movements here back and forth instead of streaming the yellow bullets she shoots out, like so: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mrxjRE6JvM (skip to 12:07 for the demonstration). ...And then you died again! >_> And with bombs remaining, too! Then you bombed when she ran out of HP, anyway. Yeah, you really need to practice this spell. Micrododging got a little tight in her final nonspell, which prompted you to bomb once more. Hey, at least you're back to three lives. Hmm, Double Death Black Butterfly seems a bit tricky, and you did bomb to it. I suggest that you'd want to maybe move a little more so you don't get tripped up by the bullets? Eh, it only costed you one bomb. You handled the rest of it well. You were doing Flying Insect's Nest quite well before you bombed to it, and then you clipped a laser near the end of it. Ouch. This is why you don't want to be at such low power in SA! Bosses' spellcards have more HP than in other games, and their patterns are quite tougher, as well. Border of Wave and Particle looks definitely to be quite tricky to handle. That micrododging looked a little tight. You collided with a bullet, but you also pressed the X key at the same time, resulting in a glorious deathbomb! I take it you had enough of Satori's shit, so you bombed a short while after. ...And then again. Wow, so much HP. You defintiely need to practice Satori more. Stage 5 - Oh boy, the hardest stage in the maingame. ...It helps to shoot the fires and stream slowly, Proto. >_> They won't hurt ya! At least you started doing so when the second set came up. Alright, time for, IMO, the toughest part of the stage: the yin-yang orb bullet spam. You got pushed into the lower left corner and were prompted to bomb, I see. At least Yukari's bomb works wonders here. Wow, you made it to the fires after some impressive dodging, gj! Haha, I liked how you stopped shooting a bit after you almost clipped some bullets. No deaths leading up to midboss Orin, woohoo. You timed out her first nonspell, which made her leave. Bummer, as you missed out on three potential life pieces. But as I've said before, SA isn't kind when one has low power. Nice streaming in the next bit, but then you were overwhelmed near the bottom right corner and got hit. Ouch. Yay, the yin-yang orb streaming section! ...Were you trying to gap? Because that didn't turn out very well. It prompted you to bomb, but at least you didn't die. And you got to 3.25 power before going pacifist with the fires, so at least you're getting back up there! And as for the last part of the stage, I suggest you stream and shoot a little faster to net more items. At Orin with 1/3. Rin (Orin) - Panicbomb to her first nonspell? Ouch. And then you messed up your approach to Possessed Fairy. For this one, it helps to start above Orin and move down after, taking out all the zombie fairies along the way. Then you can proceed to take her out ASAP as well as dodging the things thrown your way. Of course, having high power would be nice here. It would be a pain with less than 3 Power. Anyhow, your shenanigans with this spell made you leave with no power. Hmm, your approach to her second nonspell was solid...until a bullet whammed into you. You had a bomb left, too! Cannibal Spirit time. ...Ouch, at least you were able to deathbomb. And then after that, she proceeded to do nothing for a while long enough for you to take her out. XD Yukari's strong. Yay, got a life back! Expected bomb at her final nonspell, and then a second deathbomb. Spent two bombs to her penultimate, which kinda blows since now you're back to low power. Your approach to Small Demon's Revival was solid, at least. A big bullet collided with you though, which I expected. You then bombed, but at least you're heading into stage 6 with 3 power. Honestly, your Orin performance was more solid than your Satori performance, but I recommend you practice her, as well. Stage 6 - For the fire section, it's easier to simply stream the bullets aimed at you (and you can even use Yukari's gapping here, too!). You'd be able to stack up your score that way, too. I can understand the bomb at the beginning, though. ...But the second bomb was kinda silly. Common, you have Yukari! Gap! ...And then you bomb a third time. ... Midboss Orin with 0/1? I wonder if you'll capture...Ooh, so close! Nice deathbomb, though. For this one, it helps to be at the way bottom. I also found that when the Blazing Wheel begins to speed up, it helps to make unfocused bursts before focusing and turning it into a pattern, as you'll see here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mrxjRE6JvM (skip to 21:50 for the demonstration). Welp, you got past it, at least. Then you were prompted to bomb when the bullets began to rain down, though you probably would've survived it otherwise. You handled the BoWaP fires well, though, and now you're at Okuu with 0/3. Utsuho (Okuu) - Expected first nonspell capture. Nuclear Excursion was bombskipped, as expected. Though you do know how to approach it, so that's good! Very close calls on her second nonspell...before a bullet smacked right into you. Ouch. Expected Giga Flare bombskip (nice second deathbomb, btw). And you were doing her third nonspell pretty well...until you found yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time and had your run end. For this nonspell, you want to remain in the same area directly under Okuu. When she moves, you move, but try to not stray to far from where you're at, like so: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mrxjRE6JvM (skip to 24:30 for the demonstration). Overall - Solid first two stages. Stage 3 could afford a little practice, but you did pretty well there, too. I already pointed out my critiques above, but the main thing you'll want to do to secure an SA Hard 1cc is practice the hell out of Satori and Orin. Mainly Satori, really. I'm certain that once you do so, the 1cc is yours, since Okuu really isn't that challening on Hard. You can do it, Proto!
