My older brother wanted someone to play ULiL with, so he got me to get the game and ever since, my life has been worse it was actually quite fun, and the characters were cool, so I ended up playing LoLK and then PCB and I am now a Touhou addict  So is your brother a Touhou fan too? If so does he like Kaguya |

My brother forced me to play EoSD back in like 2003-2004. First difficulty he made me play on was lunatic. I hated the game, but at the same time, I couldn't stop playing. And so, for the next 10-11 years, I've been playing Touhou  To this day, I still haven't 1cc'd EoSD Lunatic |

My friend showed me an Ex stage while we were supposed to be doing a science fair project. I tried it and thought it was dumb, because what the hell what do I do :V.
Then he told me what the series was called, and I was bored that night and looked up EoSD. Played easy and got the clear on the second try, then tried tackling normal. And the rest is history :V
The friend who showed me it hasn't played any Touhou since XD

I used to go on this Fire Emblem forum where one Mod was called "Cirno" and had a bunch of Cirno images as his avatar and signature. One day I decided to look up this funny-looking blue-haired anime chick, found Cirno's Perfect Math Class...and the rest is history.

I found Touhou trough my favorite circle LA KIA.Then i spam some videos to my friend and asked him if that is a game he says yes then he gived me gameplay.I liked it then i asked him for DL links then i started to playing Touhou.I've been Touhou fan almost for 4 years.

Huh I never actually posted in here.
My first contact was Touhoumon honestly. Touhoumon Blue. It was legitimate fun. Then Kalas and ZM got me more into the series and yeah.
Incidentally I mostly am in for the non-official game portion of the fandom though since I can't play them worth a shit

I got interested when hearing about it from two friends from Pokemon Online, who introduced it to me in September 2011, as I already mentioned in my introduction thread. I obtained EoSD, my first Touhou, on the 28th and played it for the first time on the 29th.

So back in ye olden days of whenever the hell middle school was, I stumbled across Bad Apple!! and the impossible to play midi map piano videos for U.N. Owen. I enjoyed the songs and somewhere along the line (unknowingly) ended up with a few music box arranges of some Touhou songs on my phone. But I didn't actually even know what Touhou was.
FAST FORWARD 5 YEARS OR SO.
Sometime during early Summer 2015 I think i heard some friends talking about it but I also had stumbled across mention of it around that time and I ended up watching LPs of the first 7 or 8 games and then actually bothered to play the games late Fall of the same year. Now I'm drowning in it because I like drawing the characters

Well for me it started with just seeing Touhou mentioned constantly online and such but at the time I had no idea what the heck Touhou was and what all the fuss was about. Then I got exposed to it via a video an old friend of mine posted it was the stage 1 theme of MoF actually come to think of it maybe that is why I am so fond of MoF that song always sticks to me.
So after awhile I began seeing gameplay videos of the games so then I just decided to ask to try them so he sent me EoSD and I played it at first I didn`t like it me and Touhou started out shaky as I used to play very badly (couldn`t even beat easy mode) And it took me awhile to figure out you could use focus movemnet to slow down your moves.. but after constantly coming back to Touhou after quitting the series grew on me and next thing I knew I was playing all the games and listening to the amazing music of the games. Been playing since maybe about 2013.
