How did you get into Touhou?

Summer 2011 I believe, was listening to an internet radio on my PSP and I heard some IOSYS, I decided to investigate it after coming back home from the vacation I was on, discovered its relationship to Touhou, and ummm.... kind of accidentally left it on my back log until summer 2013.

My first contact with Touhou was 2 years ago, I heard a acapella of Owen was her, but what me into Touhou was... uh..: Yukkuris. Yep. Freaking Yukkuris. Before Touhou I was into Vocaloid ( I still am) and there was a lot of crossovers between Touhou and Vocaloid ( Bad Apple Cover and the tons of MMDs, also Kasane Territory ) and I've seen an UTAU that looks like a flying head (Yukkuri), I checked her out and have seen that it is from Touhou. I searched Touhou on youtube and have seen some PVs of it and then I quickly played the games and the rest is history :3

Uh well. Claxy sent me the Marisa Stole the Precious Thing video. And I watched it. And I thought it was interesting.

Then I discovered Touhou Soccer Moushudden due to Youtube recomending me a video about, and that's where it all started.

I found out through an ONLINE KIDS SITE when I was like 9 or 10 (this was 2012).

It was through the 'Bad Apple' song I believe.

But I didn't start play the games until about a year ago.

In August/September of 2013 I found Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion on YouTube, through the mysterious ways of the Internet, and fell in love with it, and decided to look up information about this 'Touhou Project' (I had actually already listened to Because Princess Inada Is Scolding Me a few times before that, but without realizing where it was from).
I became sort of a fan, mostly for the music, but as time progressed, more and more also for the characters and the fanart. Didn't play the games, because I thought they weren't really my type of games (even Glac's attempts to make me start playing proved futile).

But then in January/February of this year my girlfriend-at-the-time finally managed to convince me to start playing EoSD. I loved it. I started playing it regularly, but I had other priorities, so it slowly faded into the background until I stopped playing altogether.
Then in late April, while I was staying with my girlfriend-at-the-time, we played IN together a few times, and I played HRtP too a few times. But things happened (namely, I couldn't get my PC-98 emulator to work on my computer), which made me give up on getting back into playing Touhou.
Then one day in July I suddenly felt like playing HRtP. I somehow managed to get my PC-98 emulator to start working, and I've been playing Touhou regularly again ever since!

TL;DR: Found Nuclear Fusion in August/September 2013, fell in love with the music, slowly became more and more of a fan, finally started playing Touhou in the beginning of this year.

Around 2011... I had indirect influence from things like Ran Ran Roo and the occassional 2hu song being played in random videos.

Then my friend (I went over his house) that was into Touhou got me into when he showed me EoSD and Soku.

I went home, looked up touhou wiki, learned stuff. Played more games, found Soku Lobby, etc... fast forward some years, now I'm a Touhou Lore Warrior.

I think it was somewhere around late 2012. I was playing a Role-playing game on ROBLOX (I still play it to this day, i'm just always inactive.) and found these interesting and familiar Touhou characters in the game.
Then in Mid 2013, I started to listen to some catchy Touhou arranges.
December 2014, I started playing Touhou. My first 2 games were GFW and EOSD.

I was like "I'm bored" and someone was like "check out Touhou" and I was like "not that silly thing!" but I checked out the wiki and decided to play it since I liked danmaku games. For the first time in my life, I buckled myself in, put on my safety goggles, and went full shmup. Next thing you know, five missions were done with flying colors! Then they told me I was actually shooting down my comrades all along and I was part of a program to create the ultimate magical loli soldiers, a program called DonTouhou. But by that point I was too far gone. For seven more years I relentlessly slew my fellow lolis, remorselessly hardening into an unstoppable killing loli with a thirst for blood. Until the day my final mission came. And when the five missions were over, would you believe it, they had a doomsday loli! I gave it everything I had! But I did good, real good, until it was time to go home.
