Why is it so wrong to not wanna lose, by making sure we don't geet overpowered by mafia? town should have the majority at the moment, but should have very little information. Whatever information exists, should also belong to a specific few people. If you do not work to gain information, by using the lynch productively, you will most likely not gain any information. Now, if we decided to do nothing and sit on our hands, then the day will end and we will start from square one again, on D2, but the difference will be, you will have one less townie to contribute, because said person will be killed by the mafia (yes, you can argue this may not be the case, but I do not know what the set up has and who has what to deduce what might actually happen) and you won't even know why that person may have been killed or deduce anything at all, simply because there were no interactions to work on. If you were going to do it on D2 anyways, why procrastinate on D1? |

A part of me wonders if you are mafia or just clinging to a pre-conceived notion. True that the lynch might be wrong, but that has nothing to do with the fact that you and everyone else pushing for NL is not talking anything with content.But if we lynch a twonie on day 1, then the deat townies for D2 is gonna be 2 instead of 1. Which applies to every Day, not only D1. That doesn't mean we stop talking, voting and reading. Most of the time town waits to rely on night-actions of PRs, the town loses. If you have an idea to make things suddenly take a turn for the better in D2 without us talking now- ok we have seen this discussion before. NL aside, I want you to talk, that applies to the guys lurking the forum but not posting as well. Give me better places to direct my attention to if you are Townies. None of us wants to overlook a Faker to concentrate in a Townie. |

I dunno Neko? He seems too eager to go for the kill, Peter did too, but I'm not sure, and knowing Wen I'm not sure what it is he is pushing for, but for now I don't think he is a suspect

hello everyone, I am looking forward to playing with you guys. I have tons of mafia experience, though, I haven't actually learned anything from those experiences, lol. Though, if there is one thing I do know, you DO NOT No Lynch on D1 in an open set up NOC game. If this were a closed set up or an OC game or heck even an LOC game, No lynch could be helpful, but not here. So, everyone trying to get a No lynch should unvote now and pick a random target to lynch, or the person who seems the most odd to you. It will grow into something soon enough. Reasons for not going for a No lynch on D1. There are 2 main ways to find mafia, the first is through the use of roles, the second is through the use of interactions. On the start of an NOC game, we have no idea on what roles exist in the setup, so, it is not a good idea to rely on roles to find mafia. There is also the problem that finding mafia using an information role, or protecting a town member using a protective role, is like finding a needle in a haystack. Therefore, some interactions will only help us out in finding out where to invest our powerful roles in. If no interactions take place and we no lynch everyday, relying on a role that may or may not even exist (since open set up), mafia will be killing off town members one at a time while, town will more likely not have any information to do anything and to top it off, if this power role of ours that we are relying on doesn't exist or is randomly killed by mafia, we have to start fresh with interactions to find mafia and will have less lynching options at our disposal (this is because having no lynched means mafia will be killing off town members at night and reducing our chances to lynch someone, at half the rate, but still). Having interactions early also allows us the advantage of letting people build on their thoughts and get overall better reads. I am quite bad at words, so, the above may sound like sh*t to you. You have made 5 posts in total, 2 are hopping on the NL and Dr Rintofen's bandwagons as if it's contented for you, and changed your mind just as swiftly after that. Why do you seem contented about making quick decisions that you seem to have not put much thoughts for, and wouldn't mind both way? Please explain. |
