Best character cast: Literally every anime I've watched has had its good and bad characters, so it's hard to say which is the best. Very hard. Even Monogatari isn't perfect because, while it's good characters are really good, its bad characters are really obnoxious. NGE has a whole bunch of average characters, and TTGL is good but has some glaring flaws. However, I know which one is best. Because when I finally watched Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya I was reminded just how nice and lovely each character was. None of the characters aren't the absolute best but together they have very little wrong with them...except Haruhi. I should hate her, and indeed I do hate a lot of what she does. I shouted at her a lot for this. And yet despite this I really, really like her, probably most of all the cast. Mostly because she has that unquantifiable factor that makes her seem...human. You'd choose her with your heart and not your head. Also as Disappearance proved she is very pretty. I guess that applies to the whole cast really. They seem 'real' and that's why they're my favourite. EDIT: (little bit extra here, in a spoiler because it sort of contains one) Also worth mentioning are Mikuru, for...well, pretty obvious reasons, and Ryouko because in Disappearance she did something that's actually very difficult - frighten me. If you've seen it you might know what part I'm talking about. (If you haven't seen it, you should. It's great) |

Best art style: Monogatari when Shaft haven't run out of money. They animate, to the finest standards, the most pointless things but it's so pretty! Then it goes off model and it's terrible but hey, that's the (literal) price Shaft have to pay. Still love it.

8) Best Character cast: Nichijou
I hate no one on that show. I would also argue Clannad (if you exclude the OVAs Kyou and Tomoyo arc) for no character hate.
9) Art Style: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has a pretty peculiar style along with goes for Kill la Kill. I also love Clannad's and Nichijou's art style as well.
As for Manga Art Style: I'm gonna have to say Shingeki no Kyojin, Konjiki no Gash, and Touhou Suzunaan.
