5. Yukari Yakumo
Aside from the fact I consider her the Hakurei God until it's stated otherwise...
-She's powerful enough to have a NINE TAILED FOX as a shikigami, who's powerful enough to have her OWN shikigami
-Doesn't count for much, but she's the ONLY Phantasm boss in the series.
-In context of Touhou Project, the ability to manipulate boundaries is SCARY. She can make a person crazy or sane by changing their border of common sense. She can kill someone easily by changing their border of life and death. She can make night/day last forever with the border of Night and Day. Etc.
Regarding the "she's the Hakurei God" thing, here's my reasoning for that.
-She was created in PCB to be a foil of Reimu with similar powers, just so that they could team up in IN
-The Hakurei Shrine is a "lock" for the Great Hakurei Barrier... which Yukari was very important in creating. Oh yeah, it's also a boundary. What are the odds.

5) Some obvious ones here: The Mary Sue Watatsuki Sisters. Although, I do think a lot of characters hold heavy potential to be the most powerful. Yukari, Remilia, Flandre, Sakuya, Yuyuko and Eiki's abilities could all be extrapolated to some extreme power. I don't know whether any of them could, though. Yuuka is a big candidate for strongest as far as the games go, since unlike everyone else she has never been exterminated. Then, Kaguya, Eirin and Mokou also have the huge advantage of being immortal so will outlast everyone else anyway, regardless of strength. Heck - Mokou dies over and over in IN Extra, and only gives up when she's exhausted. Can I just say "ditto" here and be done with it? No? Relick stole everything I wanted to say. I would argue against Sakuya, Mokou and Kaguya being comparable to people like Yukari, Remilia, Flandre, Yuyuko and Eiki though. Mostly because immortals and humans just need to be sealed somewhere, people like Yukari could not be sealed at all, their special abilities don't really increase their damage output, and for Sakuya's case, durability. (Eirin has her drugs, so I don't know what she might be able to do.) I also disagree that Yorihime is that powerful, since she needs to chant to cast her hax spells, which is time enough for people like Yuyuko, Flandre and Sakuya to mince her, without spellcard rules. |

5. Character you believe is the most powerfulaaaaaaaaa this question. It really depends on what angle are you looking at it. Yuyuko - Her ability is to invoke death on any living being. Yukari - Manipulation of borders could probably let her do almost everything. Flandre - Her power consists in destroying everything. Remilia - Manipulation of fate? That seems pretty broken to me. The Watatsukis - Come on they're freaking Mary Sues. Reimu - Powers of the Hakurei Miko. Can literally fly out of reality.Okuu - Nuclear bombs, enough said. Kaguya/Mokou - Strong in the sense that no one could beat them in a battle of attrition. Eiki - Yukari said that not even Yuyuko, her and Reimu combined could beat her. Satori/Koishi - Mind wreckage. Satori uses hypnosis too. etc... etc... EDIT: Oh. Add Suika and Yuugi for being the strongest Oni in Gensokyo. And Kasen for literally shattering the Hakurei Barrier.

I'll give my top 10 because why not. Also, this is only out of the shooters. I doubt many people won't agree with the order, but maybe some of the characters. 1. Eiki Shiki 2. Yukari 3. Suika. 4. Kanako 5. Eirin / Kaguya (I know that Eirin is more powerful, but both are really powerful) 6. The Scarlets 7. Yuyuko 8. Utsuho 9. Keine (I mean, she could ERASE your VERY life) 10. Koishi (She may not seem like much, but she could easily make you do thinks without realising) Honourable mentions to Byakuren, Reimu, Mokou and some other characters I forgot. Problem with Keine, she can't exactly erase your existence. There has to be no proof of your never existance in order for her to make you stop existing. And if she devours your history, it's only temporary. So Keine's ability is very situational. Now since people are making Top 10s and what not 1. Yamaxandu - Eiki Shiki 2. Eirin Yagokoro 3. Watatsuki Sisters 4. Suika 5. Yukari 6. Kaguya 7. Yuugi/Kasen 8. Kanako/Suwako 9. Scarlet Sisters 10. Mokou/Utsuho Everything after Watatsuki's is an uncertainty. 4/5/6 is potentially interchangeable. 7/8/9/10 as well. |

Mokou and Kaguya. Because they habitually kill each other on a daily basis. Yes, they're described as "killing" each other. Not "incapacitating". They both are strong enough to "kill" an immortal and they both are strong enough to be back in action the next day after being "killed".
I'm also 99% sure that they both hold back a lot in actual fights.

Favorite Stage - Imperishable Night Stage 4
I really like the atmosphere of this stage. It's fun, it feels like a rush toward Eientei in order to stop these silly Lunarians! However, one of the main characters is trying to go too... they may get in the way. Also, the fact that this is an arrange of the title theme is what makes it better. Then you fight main character, Uncanny Reimu or Powerful Marisa, you fight a bit, then suddenly the main character runs away after 2(?) spellcards. You chase after them, regroup and fight it out again. It's like a midboss in the middle of a boss fight because the theme is playing. Maybe it's emphesizing their importance in the storyline.

I like various stages, but I like MoF stage 4, it really feels like a waterfall at the beginning, the theme really helps too (it's my 3rd fave stage theme)
