Dream Thread

I had a dream last night of us in Eientei. Zig and I were arguing about something. I dunno what it was.

Morse code on a stolen phone? Lol how?!

I had a dream quite a while ago don't remember when but I saw this small wooden shack in a wasteland looking place and I went opened the door and went in.
When I went in the inside was really huge with all the 2hus dining in a SDM looking dining room or something.

I hate those dreams where all you do is browse the internet or something... And then none of it actually happened so when you wake up you're like dangit.

Had a bizarre dream last night that isn't at all Touhou or Eientei related, just posting it because it's amusingly crazy.

I was on vacation with my family, and we were packing really quickly before the place could kick us out. Then my mom and brother left with a friend, and for some reason me and my dad were stuck walking home (for a distance that took 6 hours to drive there). We were having a pretty nice time walking through all these quaint little towns and he decided to take a "shortcut" through the woods. At this point my brother randomly appeared as being with us instead because screw continuity.

We met some little kids taking a walk in the woods with their nee-chan (who for some reason wasn't actually doing or saying anything this whole time, just walking with them), and one of them shot me with a BB gun for fun. Then the littler one wanted to follow his example and said he was going to shoot my brother, so I threatened to beat him up in an unusually harsh-sounding way. (I feel really bad now for saying the F-word to a little kid, even in a dream...)

The little kids left us alone after that, and we walked to this run-down mobile home (it was actually a clone of the one I used to live in, but I didn't recognize that in the dream), and an old man there told us that there was a magical boundary around the forest, and once you went into it you could never get out. Then the older kid came back and explained in a really mature-sounding voice that it was true and he had been trying for decades to escape.
The old guy said afterward that it was possible to get out if you went to the swamp and where there was a sign saying "Don't stop moving" to relax and get swallowed by some plant mass that functioned like quicksand (at which point I thought "this book is totally ripping off Harry Potter" (yes, while in a dream I normally think of it as a book, I have NO FREAKING CLUE why)) because there was a magical guru living under the swamp who granted wishes. My dad left to go to the bottom of the swamp to make a wish, and after about a day I wanted to go after him.

The old man stopped me and explained that how it worked was that there was a lake of super-strong acid at the bottom of the swamp and he would technically die on the way, but become a ghost, and while he was there as a ghost he could talk to the guru about his wish, and on weekdays his ghost could come out of the swamp to the rest of the world, but on weekends he would be stuck in the swamp to be tortured with the acid forever. (It was very clear that this was why no one else had tried to get out this way, and the old man intentionally hadn't explained this part until my dad had left.) He said I had to stay behind and be safe so that I could take care of my brother, and started talking about how nice it would be to have another ghost there to talk to, and implied that he was actually the swamp guru, but that he didn't have any magical power except in the swamp.

I woke up after that, I just remember thinking I shouldn't yell at the old man because I felt bad for yelling at the kid before.

Lets just say last night I had a dream where I was on a plane. The people piloting the plane thought it was a good idea to fly the plane to space. Excited when they did reach space, everyone but me yelled "We're flying! We're gahgaf-" until the plane ran out of oxygen. I was pretty much choking and then found myself awake 5:59 AM EST.

The funny thing about this dream is that I was supposed to have driving lessons and take an exam for that earlier, but then the car I was learning in started having problems. I see this is as a sign, especially when I saw a car accident on the way home.

The dreams I'm having lately are more like nightmares to me. Dreaming about your worst fears every day is horrible ;n;
Or they're about cockroaches attacking me or chasing me (I fear them a lot, like a lot. I could even faint from hyperventilating so much) or about my uncles beating me up or torturing me. I always wake up shaking like hell.

Okay, I just took a nap for 1.5 hours (my last message on Skype was at 11:51 AM, and I woke up and replied at 1:21 PM, so...) but I had a series of dreams that certainly dragged on for way longer than 1.5 hours. I'm going to try listing as much of them as I can remember. In no particular order,

- I started playing a Touhou fangame. You play as Yukari and it looked a lot like Paper Mario. You can like, walk around and stuff like Paper Mario. You start off in front of a white house with a red roof in the middle of what seems to be a dessert. If you enter the house, the graphics and interface changes and you get thrown inside the house and everything looks all realistic and stuff. But moving around and examining stuff still seemed to be based on "controls" that were on my head, as opposed to moving and acting naturally. I explored the room and examined the corner and found something on the floor.

- I accompanied my onii-chan to a supermarket, and he showed me how to get all the basic necessities and stuff. And it was implied or understood that he was teaching me since I will soon have to do all this independently on my own. He also treated me to some blue chocolate thingy [it looks weird now that I recall it, but it seemed normal in the dream] which I was really happy with. He got some for himself too, saying that he gets it every time during shopping.

- We were in the Skype group when Glaceon Mage kept adding and removing a guy from SF named Monde. She seemed really distressed about something. And we were trying to tell her that c'mon, it's okay, if you wanna add him, just add him already and keep it like that.

- I was watching a replay of ZM attempting PCB. I think it was Normal difficulty. However, in the dream, the controls and mechanics were different in the sense that your controls were more like a 2D platformer, where you can jump and are affected by gravity (i.e. a vertical plane instead of the horizontal plane in Touhou games). ZM was attempting Yuyuko's first nonspell, but rather than try to slip through the gaps, he started actively jumping around the entire set of bullets and just barely grazing the bullet borders to keep jumping with ridiculous timing and precision. He was playing as Sanae btw. There were some moments when he wasn't damaging Yuyuko though, and during those moments, Yuyuko ended up regenerating at a rapid rate. As a result, the nonspell kept dragging on, with ZM pulling off ridiculous dodges (never getting hit) while Yuyuko regenerated at every opportunity. ZM was asking me for help on how to capture this, clearly upset at how he was getting walled, while I was mindblown over the entire thing, saying stuff like "How the hell can you not pull off the normal method while you're pulling off something so amazing???"

- I was physically talking to ZUN while ZUN was watching ZM's replay mentioned above. ZUN was extremely impressed. He said something like how he's been actively trying to find amazing superplayers and that ZM showcased extremely awesome skill and pulled off something nobody else ever pulled off before. He seemed really excited about ZM.

- I was in a Skype group with ZM and Glaceon Mage (and no one else) when ZM suddenly posted a series of giant messages all at once, without warning. And these giant messages had a black background and showed a bunch of glowing balls of different colors and glowing arrows [glowing balls = looked just like the balls in Miko's Guze Kanon spell, but smaller]. Apparently, the sequence of the arrows or something were supposed to be translated into a set up instructions like a flowchart. Glaceon suddenly got really crazy and started shouting and stuff, while ZM was trying to calm her down, telling her that she was being irrational and unreasonable. Meanwhile, I was just extremely annoyed that ZM posted such giant messages in the Skype group, and I also tried and failed to decipher his cryptic glowing balls and arrow message.

- According to the dream, there was apparently another forum I was in, two years ago, which had a chatbox that was directly connected to your Skype account. It allowed you to utilize Skype through a much better interface that I really liked. Also, according to the dream, I used to chat with Zigzagwolf a lot in this old forum, or somebody named ZigZagWolf. Anyway, this was apparently incorporated onto Eientei as well, which I was really excited about since I loved its Skype interface. And then I chatted with Zig and we started relishing memories from the old forum, since this new Skype group reminded us of that forum.

No, I don't often dream of Eientei people that often, but I'm surprised that I had multiple dreams based on them all within a single 1.5-hour-long napping session.

Sounds like a very fun dream to have had, kind of a funny idea to have jumping possible in PCB..

I uh, I don't think I usually have interesting dreams to share V: but once I do I'll share it.

Kay played Hanafuda against me, and asked me to teach, whom I believed to be her brother and sister how to play (not sure if she has an irl brother and sister). Afterwards there was a feast where Proto and Aki joined us.. though I'm blurry in when exactly Aki joined, or even ehat the dream versions looked like.
