Dream Thread

In my dreams I've recently, somehow, been visiting the same setting for a few days now. There's not too much I remember of it though. Just two clear things, and the events of the last one, which...didn't go well. But whatever. Apparently the whole palaver is set in Canterbury, even though I've only been there once and to my knowledge the setting doesn't look remotely like the town of Canterbury (if you drop by England at some place, try it, the crepes there are great). The second thing is when I always end up in some room (it's a classroom because I know the others in there are people in 'what was' my year) and I sit on a table just with this girl who I really really like in real life. There's two of these actually, and they always tend to sneak into my dreams somehow without warning. Though the day before I distinctly remember a completely different girl being the focus of a separate dream, one who's damn good-looking but who I don't care for that much.
You can't explain anything with dreams, and that's the best thing about them. Might have to see if another one comes up again tonight. It probably won't now I've said all this.

I remember very few dreams even slightly well, but there's at least one I have pretty good in the memory banks, one recent and maybe a few from childhood. I can tell, if you like.

I had a lot of weird dreams last night...

First, I had a dream where my cousin, who's actually a year older than me, was actually 8 years younger. I was convinced we were only a year apart and was really surprised to be told that he was a year younger...

Second, I had a dream where I was telling my grandparents and sister about that dream. Their reaction was basically: "Was he sick?"

Third, I had a dream where the cast of DQVII was shrunken down in Gensokyo. They encountered a mini Marisa and were investigating a fullsized redhead Marisa, who was snoozing outside of Alice's house.

I had gone through almost an entire normal day and was relaxing in the living room with my dearest puppies. I decided to pick up the runt of the two - still a hundred pounds - up onto the couch. (A selfish part of me is glad she's not here anymore, remembering this would hurt even more.)

It was too easy. The rest of the day had been normal, but my increase in strength or the decrease in her weight was less than subtle enough to escape my notice. Instead I cradled my dog for a moment as comfort and then slowly, gently, carefully loweree her back onto the floor.

Terrible mistake. She suddenly became a bit more 'jagged' like a model having its polygon count lowered. Then she split - lengthwise and widthwise - the four pieces teetered outwards slightly, an impossible movement based on how they should have fallen. It happened like that so I could see the dark red insides - which were oddly enough like 'Low Resolution' textures with no real visible organs, just bloody meat. Then the pieces finished their spectacle and fell back inwards (clipping through each other in the process), stopped, sank downwards a bit into the ground, then faded away (the 'loses opacity' kind) over the span of three seconds. I barely gave notice to the emaciated and mottled... copy of her walking in from the porch.

I was too busy panicking over what might have befallen my other puppy - I looked to where he had been only to realize how surrounded I was. Everywhere, there were these hybrids copies, partly made of, well, him and the rest made up with rough, milky glass that cut like knives. They were everywhere in droves - the room, up on the furniture, outside the window, roaming the street. They were staring at me with lifeless eyes, sad eyes, or hatred, even walking over the copy of my other dog - the sickly looking one that came in from the pirch was shoved all around and stamped over.

These copies were like broken robots with frayed wires on their skin, itching at best and tearing your skin at worst as I tried to discover what they had done with my "last remaining dog." They weren't really attacking but they were either standing stock still and blocking the way (lifeless eyes), ambling about without reason or self preservation (sad eyes) or shoving anything out of the way to simply surround me, rub up against me and then keep me cornered (hateful eyes) and yet all three types kept their heads turned towards me as well as they could.

It ended a short bit later. I'd barely gotten inside and was in front of the garage when I simply couldn't move anymore - they were too heavy, and too many of the angry ones had made their way over to me for me to do anything except climb over them - and if I had that, I would have been sliced up far more than before.

My first dream after I arrived in Waterloo:

Today, I dreamt that I was travelling somewhere with Glaceon Mage except she was like, 8 years old. I could somehow create luggage bags with my mind, so I created different heights of luggage and watched child!Glaceon Mage hug each of them on her own; I then decided to pick the luggage in which child!Glaceon Mage hugging it looked the most adorable. She was really cute too.

I then dreamt that I was going through the university orientation, and everything went perfectly fine until the last part where they were supposed to assign me a job. But then they were like, "no, sorry, we can't employ you because your name matches with the name on this list and the people on this list have relatives who are staff in the university and we can't employ these people". And I was like, trying to tell them that it's a silly rule and I'm not closely connected to any of the staff, but then the lady stabbed my finger with a red pen and it really hurt and I got really upset, but then some giant metal scythe came out of nowhere and sliced all of those people in half and there was a lot of blood and gore which I really liked observing but then I woke up.
