So I'm hoping I'll be getting the Baccano! DVD set for Christmas, because that anime is probably the best thing ever.
Has anyone else seen Baccano? And what were your thoughts?

Everyone keeps talking about how Durarara! is epic, but Baccano >>>> Durarara any time of the day. Baccano is god tier, the characters are interesting, the plot is well done even if it lacks development in some characters' stories (season 2 plz?) and Isaac and Miria are best characters. |

I personally like CLAYEH STAHNFEELD a lot. His character, especially in the fight with Lad, is badass. The whole Rail Tracer bit is amazingly well done. It's my favorite part of the anime. And yeah, he's probably my favorite non-comical character in that series. |

I don't watch much anime mainly because netflix has almost nothing that would interest me.
Currently watching unlimited blade works anime. Trying find a way to watch Monster as well.
Don't really like manga for some reason.

I have watched very little anime, when I was younger it was literally only Pokemon and YuGiOh. Although, I have seen the first two seasons of Hetalia. More recently I watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica (and its sequel movie) - pretty damn good  I also saw myanimelist.net/anime/10620/Mirai_Nikki_%28TV%29 mentioned somewhere and thought it looked interesting. Has anyone seen it, and is it any good? |

It has the most troll opening in existence and it managed to subvert the magic girl genre, which was why I started watching the series to begin with. It has Yuki Kajiura composing the OST which is a big plus, and INU CURRY working on the weird art/witch department. Imo, the only two complains I can see people having is: it was way too short and things were kinda rushed and the characters and their motivations are a bit far-fetched sometimes. Also, the third movie makes everything even better, for me at least. And about Mirai Nikki, I'm not going to even talk about it because it had a great concept and blew it completely by using cliché and one-dimensional characters and making it even worse by turning all Dragonball-ish and flat-out nonsensical in the end. I also hate Yuuno with a fiery passion. |
