Back to our scheduled 4-way collab! Also, 201th post, zhurray! Stay tuned for celebratory post :v
"Yui, I'm getting really worried..." the hell raven breathed as she stood in front of the entrance waiting for the other girl. "This is really, really bad..."
"Birdbrai- I mean Okuu, listen here..." She began as she saw Okuu standing there. "We are going to be fine. I'm getting you out of this situation because I fucked up." "E-Eh? You mean it?" Utsuho asked, her eyes lighting up as she ran over to Seija. "Of course, like I said, I'm turning over a new leaf and I will help, I promise."
Squeeing in happiness, Utsuho glomped the girl. "You're the best, Yui~! I'm glad to have joined the Allies of Justice~!" She sighed and she was suddenly glomped and she looked around. "Listen here, Murasa has pinned a lot of this shit on me and you, we've got to clear our names and we should assist the people who are in the temple..." Pulling back, the brown-haired girl nodded. "Mm. I want to repent for what we've done. If this is the best way, then we'll have to give it our all." "But listen, that does not mean blowing a hole through another building." She sighed as she attempted to walk further into the temple, she arrived at a small wooden box near the entrance. "Y-You told me to do it! Don't twist the story!" Utsuho complained as she followed. "What are you doing there?" "Listen, my poor bird, I reverse shit around, my words could be reversed if I held more power..." She dropped a tiny coin into the box. "And that's one to the God above..." Utsuho shook her head. "Don't you worry, Yui. I'm certain the God will answer your prayer." "It depends which God accepts my prayer..." She sighed as she thought about the previous night where all hell broke loose for her once again. "Well then...let's start doing good then, shall we?" Utsuho said as she put a hand on Seija's shoulder. "In the temple, of course!" "Welp, that's enough sighing, let’s just get in the fucking temple now." Inside the Temple, Murasa was instructing Kyouko and Flandre where to lay the futons, while she fumbled with ointments and herbs. “Yeah, I think that’s enough.” The sailor straightened herself and then frowned, apparently thinking about something. “Ah, thanks for yer help, hum… I don’t think I’ve seen ya before?” She put a hand to her chin while she looked at the young vampire. And then she noticed the young vampire. "...I wonder who that is..." And she began to tip toe towards her. Murasa smiled back. “Ha, nice to meetcha, Flandre! Name’s Murasa.” She stretched her hand to shake the vampire’s, completely ignoring Seija’s comment. Then she heard what the hell raven said. “Han? Who’s Yui?” She pointed to herself as Murasa said that. "I am Yui, or you know me as Fuck Face Kijin or something stupid." The sailor stared at her with a raised brow. “Yeah, that’s pretty accurate. And why the name change?” "...It's a long story, let’s just say it involves Yuuka and me losing my ability to walk for a while." “Yuuka, huh? Ya must be very stupid if ya didn’t expect to meet her and don’t end up maimed or half beaten to death.” The ghost shrugged and then looked around. “Hm, everything is set, good.” She nodded approvingly at Okuu who brought water and towels into the room. "...Lets just drop the subject..." She muttered as she bent down, going to look at one of the injured people. "What happened in the village then..." Utsuho began to pass around the towels she would damp among those who were hurt, giving them kind smiles as she went on her way. None of the injured people wanted to talk, their eyes wide and bodies trembling, it was clear they were in shock. Murasa crossed her arms, tapping her foot nervously for one minute before deciding to go outside. "...Damn, whatever happened traumatized them..." And then she tilted her neck, seeing Murasa walking outside, she thought for a moment if she would follow her or stay and help. Flandre looked towards the injured. "I suppose we should just wait until Ellen or Kasen come back with more people and ask them. I mean, they were in the village..." she sighed. "Looks like Murasa has got something on her mind..." She then sprung up, walking over to Flandre. "Hey, how did you get dragged into this mess?" "Huh, me?" the young vampire pointed at herself. "I'm just looking for a friend so that I can help her get rid of this sigil thing she has on her neck." she pouted "She's being damn near impossible to find, though." She nodded, thinking of someone who has a sigil on her neck. "And that's the sign of the ripper right? Right before this happened, we found a corpse that had a sigil on it..."
"News travels fast with her doesn't it..." And then, she tried to think back from where she had met Marisa. Murasa paced back and forth. She was itching to go there herself and help bringing people in, but Ichirin and Nue were already in the Village, she had no options but to stay. And suddenly there was an explosion that brightened up the sky. “Ah…” The sailor stood there holding her hat, looking as dust and debris flew through the air in the Village. "...Maybe I should go and help her..." She thought to herself before the sky shot up in an explosion, quickly she glared towards Okuu. "DID YOU DO THIS?!" "Yeah, because I'd start an explosion inside a temple," Utsuho replied, glaring. Flandre looked towards the exit. '... Please, don't tell me that they...' she hurried towards the outside. Once she got there, she looked over towards Murasa. "What was that explosion?!" "Yeah, I'm coming!" Utsuho piped as she followed Seija. "What was that, anyway?" Murasa was looking as the explosion subsided. “I… dunno…” She clenched her hands. “Ichirin and the others are there… I’m sure they’ll check on what the hell is goin’ on…” "I'll guess we will find out when we get there." Seija said. The sailor turned at Seija, a serious expression on her face. “No one is gonna leave until I say so.” "...But what if they were caught in the explosion..." She thought of the worst case scenario and a horrid thought of Ichirin and co. was caught in an explosion that killed them. “They wouldn’t die of somethin’ like that!” That’s what she wanted to believe. “Let’s… let’s wait for a little bit… if no one comes…” She trailed off, clenching her hands even more. And then Seija goes to put a hand on her right shoulder. "Listen here... We can just pray to the Gods above that they live..." Murasa nodded and stood silent, worry evident in her face. And after a long minute of silence, Murasa grabbed her anchor. “There’s something comin’.” She could see a shimmering light approaching rapidly to the Temple. "Shit... What's coming?" She then move behind Murasa as she wasn't going to be useful at close range combat as she summoned arrows around herself. "Who...?" Flandre looked confused at the incoming light, before rising up to the air to get a better look. And within seconds, a clap of thunder sounded, blinding all of them, as a blue dragon landed in front of them. Murasa squinted her eyes and looked at who was on top of it, someone horned was now climbing off of the dragon, in her arms was the unconscious, severely hurt for of the blonde that had brought the victims before. "W-wh-a?!" Seija threw up her hands and closed her eyes for a second. Flandre's eyes widened as she recognized the face of the person who was climbing off the dragon. "K-kasen!" she hurried over to the hermit's side. "Are you okay?! What happened on the village?!" her voice sounded extremely worried. Finally, she looked towards the blonde girl Kasen was carrying. Flandre fell silent for a few seconds. "I-Is she...?" "Kasen... Who is that?!" She looked surprised as Flandre rushed towards Kasen. “No, she’s alive, but she’s badly injured…” Kasen answered, deciding to leave the other answers for later. Murasa, understanding she was an ally, rushed to them. “Come inside, we’ll treat her!” She showed Kasen the way. The hermit followed her and followed Murasa’s instructions, gingerly laying Ellen on a futon, letting Kyouko treat her as the sailor went to call Byakuren. It was against her will, but if anyone knew healing spells, it was her. Kasen laid her back against the wall tiredly, catching a breath while looking worriedly at the magician. Flandre kneeled down near the unconscious magician, her eyes fixated on her. "What the fuck happened, what was the explosion?!" Seija attempted to catch up to Kasen who was lying against the wall. "Please explain!" The hermit nodded her head negatively. “I don’t know much myself… Two unknown beings appeared on the Village. One of them was behind what happened to those humans…” She said, eying the victims. “We… killed one… they were sisters… so you can guess where the explosion came from…” She strengthened herself. “I need to go back.” "Hell no, you might die this time, do you want to die!" Seija stood in front of Kasen, glaring at her violently. "Do you have a death wish?" Kasen knew how she looked, she wasn’t much better for wear than the magician, but unlike the blonde, she was an oni, her burns, cuts and wounds were nothing in comparison. “The little girl, the satori, she was there too. She helped fighting them… I don’t know what happened to her. I saw the Village guardian and other people fighting the creature but… someone has to find her. Can you move, please?” "You can go if you wish, but I am coming with you... You need help don't you..." Utsuho's ears perked hearing the mention about the satori. Rushing over to Kasen, she skidded to a halt right in front of her. "I'll find her for sure!" Kasen nodded. “Come with me.” She eyed Flandre worried and then turned on her heels, leading the other two to the dragon. Upon hearing what Kasen planned to do, the young vampire stood up. She put herself in Kasen's way as fast as she could, arms stretched out. Her crimson eyes were glittering with tears. "I'm not letting you go back to the village." "Come on, she has me and Okuu, and you can come, together, we can defend her!" “Flan…” “My apologies, Miss Ibaraki, but I can’t let you leave this Temple in that state.” Byakuren Hijiri entered the room, followed by Murasa and Kanako. She looked at Murasa. “Murasa-chan, you go with them. Koishi-chan is part of our Temple, it’s our duty to make sure she is safe.” Murasa nodded. The monk then looked at the hermit once again. “Can your dragon guide them to the location of the battle?” Kasen nodded. “Yes but… I know where she was standing…” “We’ll find her.” Murasa interrupted. “We can find her, trust us.” She looked at Kasen. “Ya look like crap already, don’t go there and get yerself killed.” She pointed at Flandre. “Then we’d be the ones who’d have to listen to her endless moppin’.” The hermit looked as the tree went away, then looked at Flandre, she knelt down and petted her head, an apologetic smile on her bloodied face. “I’m sorry for worrying you. Don’t hurt yourself because of that.”
Flan let out a few whimpers before carefully hugging Kasen. "Don't scare me like this ever again..." she pressed her head against Kasen's chest.
“Hm.” She wrapped her real arm around Flan, her chin resting on top of the vampire’s head. “I’m sorry.” And while she hugged the young vampire, she understood. What stood there was neither an oni nor a hermit, it was just Kasen. Komachi was right, actions were what spoke louder. She had been wrong all this time, she had done what she had done in the past because of who she was back then. Attributing the blame to what she had been a mere excuse to cover for the fact that she was who she was because of a sense of superiority and, ultimately, naiveté. Now that she knew it, now that she knew who she was –someone relieved by being alive and being able to hug her little sister, worried that her friend was struggling for her life – what she was had become irrelevant. Kasen Ibaraki was an oni, that’s what she was, but in that moment, she had understood how little it mattered to her.

Annnd here ends yet another awesome collab!
The young vampire backed away a little and wiped off her tears. Once she had done so, she looked towards Byakuren. "So... uh... Ms.Byakuren... regarding Ellen's health..." Flandre's eyes drifted to the blue-haired woman who accompanied the Buddhist. 'Who is she...?' Byakuren’s hands were shining with light magic as she put her hands above the panting magician. “She’s severely injured, quite the fighter to survive this. I’ll be able to stabilize her and to heal her wounds, but it will take time for her to get on her feet. However, she will survive.” She smiled at Flandre and then looked at Kasen. “You did well in bringing her this quick.” The young vampire sighed in relief. "That's... that's great to hear..." she let out a smile before looking back to Kasen. "Just... What happened back in the village, Kasen...?" Kasen sat down tiredly, slumping heavily on herself. “Someone attacked those humans…” She looked at the survivors. “A sigil just like the one you mentioned about Marisa formed under them and simply killed them… instantly.” Her eyes then shifted to Ellen. “I asked Ellen to take the survivors to a save place… I knew who was the responsible for it but I… didn’t want her to get involved.” She frowned slightly, her eyes sad. “I fought her… and it…” She felt the urge to touch her horns to confirm if they were still there but decided against it. “I almost defeated her but her sisters appeared and speared me.” Her bandaged hand stopped on the wound on her chest. “When Ellen arrived she found me on the ground, and we fought them together.” Her hands balled up and she looked down. “The winged one, she caught me in a hex, the hit Ellen took was meant for me, she shielded me from it…” She idly moved her fake arm. “The little satori appeared and attacked the winged one, I killed her sister and then she went mad, and that was when the explosion happened.” Flandre looked towards Ellen before looking back at Kasen. "So basically Ellen saved your life..." she giggled. "Looks like you owe her a big one, don't you?" the young vampire sat down next to the hermit. "I... I just hope she recovers soon." The hermit went quiet for a bit and then said. “I’d rather have been the one to get hit.” - Murasa stopped near the dragon, looking at it with a surprised look. “To think I’d see a dragon up close, wow.” She then snapped out of it and dropped the other two. “A'ight, get on the dragon.”
Utsuho flew on top the dragon. "I've always wanted to ride a dragon!"
"Alright then. "She smiled as she leapt up going to leap onto the dragon's back, looking at Murasa. "How do you feel?"
Climbing the dragon, Murasa sat on the front. “Why are ya so worried about how I feel?” She eyed Seija suspiciously. “We haven’ exactly been gettin’ along.” "Maybe I can give you a massage, or something." Okuu pipped in. "Why would I want a..." The sailor rubbed her temple. "Why are ya two so weird?" "I want to put that behind us, at least for now..." She sighed as she looked directly at Murasa. "We share a common threat."
“Yeah, yeah, let’s just go.” And hearing Murasa say the word “go” , the dragon blasted off with a thunder clap, flying off at high speeds, making the sailor hold on to its scales for dear life. "HORY SHIT!!" Seija nearly fell off the dragon seconds after it blasted off into the sky and she quickly grabbed its back, stopping her from falling. The dragons soared above the Village, avoiding the illuminated part of the sky as danmaku and beams flew everywhere, indicating that the fight was still in progress. It landed near a destroyed part of the Village, not very far from the battle. Houses had been destroyed by the blast, there were bits of charred wood and blackened stone riddled throughout the streets. It was as though a big bomb had detonated there. If they didn’t know better, they’d mistake the Village for one of Former Hell’s many abandoned pits. Murasa didn’t say anything, her eyes were wide and her mouth slacked open, then she looked in the direction of the battle noises. She looked down in horror and she attempted to gaze at the crater, she wanted to say a witty comment but she decided against it, but she leaned back suddenly whispering in Okuu's ear. "Looks like your house destruction has a rival." It was evident that the sailor was doing her best not to run off to the battle, she balled her hands, teeth gritted and turned at the other two. “We have to find Koishi, move yer asses and look for her!”
"Right..." She then suddenly leaped off the dragon, keeping afloat in the sky as she followed the dragon, a bit lower to the ground in an attempt to look for Koishi.
“Hey, snap outta’f it!” The Captain smacked Okuu on the arm, snapping her out of her shock. “She’s yer mistress’ sister, ain’t she? Get yer ass movin’!”
Snapping out of her daze, the hell raven shook her head. "A-Ahh, right!" she replied, jumping off of the dragon and beginning to fly around in search for Satori's sister. "Koiiiishii-sama!!"
"Glad you're still apart of this reality Okuu, let’s look for Koishi." Utsuho looked back. "I wonder why she's missing...either way, I have to find her as soon as I can!" "I guess we have to now, should we land" Seija began edging towards the ground, wary to land. Something rang on the little satori’s ears, so far, so very far away. But her eyes felt heavy and she couldn’t open them, just like she couldn’t open her third. The voices calling her name, the eyes that refused to open… Her head hurt, something warm and wet was trailing down her face. She couldn’t move, not even a finger. Inside her mind, a voice taunted her. ‘Now they won’t find you, because you’ve closed your eye, they won’t find you. You will die here because in their eyes, you don’t exist.’ Her head hurt… she opened her mouth. “Okuu…” It was weak attempt and she knew the raven wouldn’t hear. And then she thought of her sister. How would she react if she died? She would be sad, she would be sadder than she already was. Koishi didn’t want that. She gritted her teeth. “Okuu…” She managed to call, a little stronger now. Another kind of liquid starting to trail down her eyes. Seija then landed, and she quickly began scouring the village for any signs of Koishi, every so often. She yelled out "Koishi! Koishi!" as she looked around. “Big sis…” The satori whimpered. It was all because she was a coward, because she didn’t think things through, because she thought her problems would be solved just like that, because she didn’t even stop to consider the consequences and how they’d affect not only her, but everyone else that cared for her. This was divine punishment for her cowardice. "Mmmh..." Utsuho murmured as she continued searching. "Koishi-sama! Koishi-sama! Where are you?! It's me, Okuu!!"
Seija then decided to look into one of the houses that was unfortunately destroyed, just then she felt a small tug on her leg. "OH MY GOD!!" She looked down, seeing a girl who was crawling on her knees and was heavily burnt and her bowl hat had cracked in many places and she was bleeding from the nose. "Y-you bitch!" Utsuho looked back in alarm. "What's wrong, Yui?" "N-nothing!" She quickly bent down, picking up the small girl and Shinmyoumaru glared at Utsuho angrily. "I know you two were screwing around!" Utsuho stopped in her tracks. "I don't even know who you are, small-fry." "You blew up that house! I saw it with my own eyes!" The hell raven flinched. "W-We did a bad thing!" "And you two... caused this..." She suddenly fell unconsciousness and Seija looked at Okuu. "Go and focus on finding Koishi, I'll take her back to the temple!"
Nodding, Utsuho continued her search. "KOISHI-SAMA!!!! Please hear me!!!" Seija shot up into the sky seconds later, gliding at a fast speed towards the temple. "...Even though you hate me, I'm not losing my former puppet..." Okuu’s voice sounded closer and yet… She wouldn’t listen to her, her voice wouldn’t reach the hell raven yet. Koishi forced her arm up and shoot a danmaku bullet to the air before her arm slumped down again, too weak to stay up. She hoped that Okuu saw it, she prayed that she saw it. Seeing the bullet, Utsuho gasped. "Is that...a sign?" she muttered as she sped closer. "KOISHI-SAMA!! I'M COMING!!!" Someone was approaching, she had heard Utsuho’s voice and she hoped… she hoped….
“Okuu!” She tried to yell, but her voice came out in a strangled yelp.
"Koishi-sama!" Utsuho cried out. "CAN YOU HEAR ME!" She began to sweat nervously, a feeling of unease coursing through her body. She had to find her mistress's sister. She just had to.
“Okuu!” The satori tried once again. “I’m here… I’m right here…” Her voice trailed off, drowned in tears. “Please…” She could feel her body shake weakly with her sobs.
The satori could feel Okuu in front of her, worries and fear surging through her mind, both unconscious and conscious. “Okuu…” She forced herself to focus, to ignore everything around her, to disregard the splitting pain on her head. Intermittently, her body blinked, in and out of sight. “I’m… he…re…”
"Koishi-sama, I can't see you...!" Utsuho yelled urgently. "I know you're here, p-please show yourself to me!"
“I… can’t…” That was the limit, all she could muster at that moment. If Okuu couldn’t see her, if Okuu couldn’t follow the sound of her voice, if… There was nothing else she could do. “No…” Her sister, she couldn’t make her sister sad again. “I’m here…” She had hurt her enough, she couldn’t do this to her. “I’m right here…” She gritted her teeth from effort. In her mind she apologized to her sister and to everyone she cared about. “I’M RIGHT HERE, I EXIST! LOOK AT ME!!” Utsuho began to tear up. "K-Koishi-sama...p-please scream louder...I-I need to save you...!!" she cried. She panted, tears now flowing from her eyes. “I can’t…” Her head hurt, it hurt so much she thought she was going to pass out. “…anymore…” There was no amount of focus she could muster now. In the darkness that were her closed eyes, she could feel herself losing consciousness.
Shutting her eyes tight, hot tears cascading down her cheeks Utsuho bit her lip as she willed to herself to save Koishi. "I-I will see you...I will save you...you will be just fine, Koishi-sama...just you wait...I...I will see you!!" And with that, she opened her eyes wide and finally saw her mistress's sister right in front of her. "K-Koishi-sama!" she yelled, alarmed at how heavily injured she was.
“Okuu…” The satori began, her voice going quiet each word. “…I love you… Orin… and big sis…I love her…so much… please, tell…them……I’m… sor…ry… for…every…thing…” She smiled a weak but genuine smile, her mind slowly going black as she struggled in vain against it.
Utsuho quickly scooped Koishi into her arms carefully, holding her close. "You can tell them that yourself, Koishi-sama...we're going home..." she whispered to her. "Just...stay with me now..."
The satori rested her head against Okuu, the read of her blood seeping through the raven's white shirt, her consciousness fading despite her struggles. “Okuu… you’re so warm…”
"Shh...don't talk too much..." Okuu said quietly, stroking Koishi's hair before taking to the skies.
For a moment, she could feel the cold wind on her face. “Thank… you….” And she went quiet, though her heart still slowly drummed against Okuu’s own. Utsuho smiled gently down at the satori and flew through the skies, intent on finding a place to take care of Koishi in. And fast.

Here's a post. A collab rather. read it or something, dunno.
I'll edit this with BGM links when I'm not about to go to bed.
Utsuho shuddered as she flew, the blood from Koishi creating a large red spot on her shirt. Feeling the wet fabric, it only made her move faster. "Koishi-sama...I should've paid more attention to you...I'm sorry..." she apologized.
Back in the ground, blue eyes followed Utsuho’s movement to the temple and then, knowing what that meant, they shifted back to the battle going on.
“Ghost…” She whispered with barely contained anger. “[Dipper Creeping Close].”
And in a blink, the sailor popped above a winged creature.
“DIE, MOTHERFUCKER!” The anchor swung down.
The amanojaku laid near a occupiced bed where she placed the inchling in a futon, she looked around frantically for any medical assistance. "Any doctors in the house?!"
The young vampire, whom had fallen asleep, woke up, yawned and rubbed her eyes. She looked at the frenetic amanojaku and stood up, walking towards her. "What's the problem...? You found someone on the village?"
Byakuren’s eyes rose from Ellen to look at the inchling. “Kyouko, please clean her wounds, I am almost done.”
The wolf eared girl fussed quickly about the inchling, cleaning her wounds.
Seija tilted her neck towards the young vampire. "I found someone... I don't know what happened to her but she fell unconscious..." She stopped quickly as she saw Kyouko quickly clean her wounds, and she sighed, patting Kyouko on the back. "Thank you."
“I’m just doing my job.” The yamabiko replied, sparing a look at Kasen. “I’m sorry, but can you…”
The oni waved her off, cleaning the blood from her face with a wet cloth. “I’m fine, don’t worry.”
Flandre rubbed her eyes a little more to clear her vision before looking towards the inchling. "Well. I'm glad that at the very least she's still alive..." she looked around. "Uh... Where's the crow girl and the ghost? Didn't they go with you?"
"They're still in the village, I should go and help them!" Seija suddenly rushed to her feet as she waved back to Flandre. "I hope that no one else gets injured..." As she said that, she suddenly rushed out of the temple, kicking off the ground and attempted to glide back to the village.
Kasen looked at Seija rushing off, her eyes went narrow as a lot of thoughts went through her head. ‘The winged bitch back stabbed ya, are’ya lettin’ her get away with that! Liars and cheaters, dishonorable scum, they should get axed!’
The hermit tilted her head down, fussing idly with bandages. ‘I need a bath…’
She stood up and walked outside, water bucket in hand.
Kyouko finished cleaning the inchling’s wounds as Byakuren moved to her. The girl didn’t seem as hurt as the blonde magician and that alone made her relieved.
She put her hands above the girl, healing magic seeping through her fingertips.
Shinmyoumaru smiled slightly in her state as she felt the healing magic go through her as her eyes slowly opened, she looked up to see a hand. "...Are you my guide to the afterlife?"
Kasen came running as soon as she heard the noise and her eyes automatically fell on the bloodied form in the raven’s arms. It seemed as if she had frozen on the spot. The girl had been the one the closest to the winged creature, it would be stupid to expect she would be alright.
Byakuren looked at Okuu, urgency in her voice. “Quickly, lay her down.”
Nodding, Utsuho laid Koishi down in a vacant bed before holding one of her hands. "Please be alright..."
The monk stabilized the inchling and moved to the satori. “Koishi-chan…” Her voice full of worry as she looked at the girl.
The hermit stood in her place, shaking, trying to control herself and her oni side kept yelling in her ears.
She raised her head, eyes brimming with anger, the fell on the blue haired goddess that was passively standing there. “OI!” Her bandaged arm pointed at her. “What the hell are ya doin’ here, doin’ nothin’ while the Village is bein’ attacked!?” The paced quickly towards the goddess, standing in front of her completely unafraid of her. “Ya’re a goddess, don’t cha think ya should get yer divine ass movin’ and go help?! Or is it only fun to ya when ya’re working in the background, manipulating people like paws?!”
Flandre turned her attention from the gravely injured Koishi that the hell raven had brought in, over to the oni who had suddenly appeared in the room. "U-uh... Kasen? What has gotten into you?!"
Shinmyoumaru laid up slightly, she looked at the hermit who was chewing out the goddess in the room. "...Did I miss something?"
“Ibaraki-san, please cal---“ The monk started, only to get interrupted.
“NO! Don’t tell me to calm down!” Her eyes shifted to the monk for a second and then looked at Kanako again. “She’s a goddess! She should protect the people that pray for her! I see everyone fightin’, but not her! Yer people must be praying for ya, can’t ya hear them?! Or are ya a coward?!”
“Ibaraki-san…”
“Don’t try to defend her, she has a mouth.” Her eyes looked defiantly at the goddesses. “Three freakin’ gods wanderin’ about and not one is doin’ their jobs.”
"..." Shinmyoumaru just laid back down, and she slept down into her futon, pretending to drone out the ensuing argument.
The goddess stood silent, if because she had no arguments or because she didn’t want to reply to the oni was one’s guess, but whichever was the reason it made the oni’s anger escalate.
Without saying anything else, Kasen punched Kanako squarely on the face, sending her toppling to the ground.
Nazrin, who was just arriving to the room, sprang into action as she saw what was going on, she slang hersef to the oni’s back, trying to hold her off. Kanako hopelessly clang to one of Kasen’s legs in hopes that would do something.
“Ibaraki-san!” Byakuren’s voice was stern. “If not for you, then out of respect for the injured, stop what you’re doing this instant!”
Kasen said nothing, merely clenching her hands, she turned on her feet and stormed outside, almost taking the mouse and the dog with her.
Kanako rubbed her jaw before wiping a trickle of blood that began to leak out of her split lip. "Hijiri," she stated, not even feeling an ounce of rage from being assaulted. "I understand her frustrations. Don't you?"
The monk looked at the door from where Kasen had stormed off. “Yes, I understand it very well.” Her eyes looked down at the barely breathing form of the satori, voice full of anguish. “But… it’s in times like this we have to keep level headed, forget all our pains and frustrations and stand together.”
Flandre looked confused at the door from where Kasen had left for a few seconds before heading to the outside, in hopes of catching up to the hermit. 'Just what has gotten into her...? She's not like this normally, so why did she...?'
“Helpin’ humans? Ya sure are weird, Ibaraki.’ A blonde, red horned oni looked at her, laughing. “Oni and humans are enemies. Getting’ at each other’s throats is only natural.” She pointed at finger at Kasen’s nonexistent arm. “Didn’t they take your arm as souvenir? What are ya doin’ wantin’ to help’em now?”
“And do you plan to repeat what happened?” Kasen looked angrily at Yuugi. “Paint the snow red, with both human and oni blood?”
Yuugi’s smile died off. “No, we won’t do that ever again.”
“Then…!”
“We ain’t gonna help’em either.” She said sternly. “I admit, they have guts and I admire’em for that, but that’s where I draw the line.” A smirk formed on her lips. “Ya are free to go and help’em, I’m sure they’ll be delighted to see a murderous oni lendin’ em another hand.”
‘No… I atone for what I did… It’s all because I am an oni that I got into this situation… I’m going to do my best to protect them no matter what, it was us who were mistaken.’ And without another word she left Yuugi, and she left her kin.
Kasen tilted down her head, gritting her teeth, hands still balled, she couldn’t feel the snow slowly setting on her head and back as she sat behind the shrine.
Flandre walked over to Kasen from behind her, being as silent as possible. Once she got near enough, she suddenly covered Kasen's eyes with her hands. "Guess who it is~?" she said, with a small giggle.
“Flan.” The hermit put one of her hands over one of Flan’s, removing it slowly from her eye, but not letting it go. She remained silent.
The young vampire's smile disappeared as she stopped covering Kasen's other eye and sat next to the hermit. "... What happened to you back then? You're not normally like that..."
Kasen frowned, avoiding Flan’s gaze. “Isn’t that obvious?” Her eyes looked at the temple’s main complex where the injured were staying. “That woman is a goddess, what is she doin’ here? She should be helping her people!” Her voice started getting progressively angrier as she spoke. “But she’s stayin’ here, hiddin’ while others are fightin’!” She clenched her free hand, speaking through her teeth. “People are dyin’! People are gettin’ injured! And she’s here! I---“ Realizing how angry she was getting, she stopped talking, looking angrily at the ground.
"That's... uh..." Flandre lowered her head. "Well... Maybe she was here helping with the injured or something...?" she didn't really know what to say.
“She was standin’ there, doin’ nothin’.” She replied, teeth clenched.
The oni lowered her head, pulling her hair back with a hand between her locks, fingertips touching her horns as she forgot they were there. She lowered her hand again.
“I… don’t want anyone else to die.” She started, eyes glaring at the floor. “Ellen got hurt because she saved me, the little satori got hurt because she stepped in to help and…” Her eyes softened. “I didn’t want any of them to get involved. Even if I was half-dead, I would keep fighting if that meant they didn’t get hurt.” She closed her eyes. “I…” Her hand touched her not-broken horn. “Did horrible things. What I did in the past has no excuse… I promised myself I’d change, that I would protect people and… my friend almost got killed…”
"But... If you hadn't brought Ellen here she would've died! You saved her as well! And... If Ellen stepped in to save you and Koishi also lent a hand... Then it's probably because they both cared about you and didn't want you to just die like that!" Flandre stood up and looked firmly at Kasen. "They don't care about you did in the past! No one does! I... I don't know how you were in the past, but I doubt you're the same person who did those horrible things you're talking about... I mean..." she put herself in front of Kasen, kneeled down and raised her head. "A horrible person who did horrible things wouldn't promise me to help me control my powers. And that same horrible person wouldn't have adopted me when I cut all bonds with my sister and ran away from home, right?" she smiled. "And most importantly, a horrible person wouldn't have been running around through the entirety of Gensokyo to help solve an incident and save the lives of pretty much every person living here." she fell silent for a second. "That's what I think, anyway."
Her hand fell atop Flan’s head, petting her. “It’s not what others think of me I’m worried about.” She smiled fondly. “I’m glad… I have friends like these. No one cared with the fact that I had horns or that I wasn’t who I pretended to be. They just cared about who I am and…” She chuckled lightly. “My friends accepted me faster than I accepted myself.” She looked at Flan in the eyes. “I’m worried… about what I think of myself.” She nodded negatively. “It’s not that I hate myself… I hate… what I did. I hate the fact I can’t change it. And because of that, I want to be useful. I want… people to live happily, without bloodshed. And I want to help that become true.” Her balled hand slacked. “It’s because of that that… I can’t stand… people being idle when death is allowed to prowl.”

"Ibaraki." Kasen looked up and saw Kanako standing in front of her, looking as stern and dignified as ever. “Kanako.” Was her reply, her brows scowling at the goddess despite her eyes no longer baring the anger from before. "That was quite the strong hook you have," she smirked. "You really caught me off guard there." The snake goddess made her over to the hermit. "I don't want you to make an enemy out of me." "I exercise." Kasen replied, humorlessly. “I don’t plan on making me your enemy.” She stood up, looking at the goddess in the eyes. “Then, now that you feel more talkative, you can tell me where exactly my words were wrong.” "Gladly," Kanako breathed. "I have not been doing absolutely nothing. I've been preoccupied keeping Hijiri company after the death of her beloved companion." “That’s noble but,” The hermit pointed in the Village’s direction. “how many more companions are people going to lose because of the threat destroying the Village as we speak?” She clenched her hands. “Those who went with me are now laying on beds, severely hurt. What kind of threat do you think it is?” She gritted her teeth. “I don’t know how the battle is going but that creature is dangerous, and we know close to nothing about it.” "I understand your frustrations, Ibaraki. You know...Sanae was also attacked," Kanako stated, turning around and folding her hands behind her back. "I want nothing more to find the one who did this and unleash my wrath for what happened. All these innocent lives being endangered. Those who have wrongfully lost their lives. I just want it all to end." “You say you want to find it but you’re still here while the possible culprit is in the Village.” The hermit clenched her teeth. “I saw it killing off humans with that filthy green sigil. You want more proofs that winged creature is the one behind this?” "Please." “Han?” One of Kasen’s brows arched up in confusion. "I want to hear what you have to say, is all," Kanako explained, her eyes closed in contemplation. Crossing her arms, the hermit looked at Kanako, never breaking the gaze. “It’s a creature I’ve never seen before. She looks human, apart from her feathered wings, she was attacking along with her sister.” A thought crossed her mind, she left it to ask the hell raven about it later. “We killed her sister, she got angry. I have no idea what’s the nature of her powers, but she could materialize spears from thin air and form powerful beams of energy. It’s powerful enough to rough up an oni, a satori and a magician, and to stand her ground against whoever is fighting her. That’s all I know about it.” The hermit went quiet, analyzing Kanako’s expression and waiting for her to tell her why exactly she wanted to know that. "This situation isn't truly troublesome..." Kanako sighed, rubbing her temple. "I didn't know there was another partner...I thought the culprit was just working alone. This is even worse than I estimated." “Why are you so certain that isn’t the culprit?” Kasen asked, eyeing Kanako suspiciously. And the goddess stood quiet and the oni started feeling her anger returning and gritted her teeth. Then someone tugged at her arm and she looked at the young vampire next to her, eyes silently asking her to drop the issue for fear that it would escalate things once again. She glared at Kanako. “You know what? I won’t think of you as an enemy, but I won’t think of you as an ally either. To me, you’re simply not worth my time.” And she continued onwards, in the direction of the Temple. The young vampire stood up, looked at the goddess and bowed, all without saying a word. After that, she went after Kasen. “My apologies.” The hermit said, bowing as Hijiri worked on Koishi’s wounds. “It was unbecoming of me to act as I did.” Nodding negatively, the monk replied in a soft voice. “I understand your frustrations, Ibaraki-san, there is no need for apologies.” “How… is she?” She asked, looking to Koishi as Okuu held her hand. “She’s… badly injured. Were she not a youkai, she would have died instantly.” Perspiration had started forming on Byakuren’s forehead. “I’m doing my best to keep her alive.” Bandages covered the satori, the left side of her face was completely bandaged, from her eye to her head. Dark spots of red decorated the white bandages, the ones on the torso now completely red even as the monk tried to heal them. Kasen stood silent, worry and regret plastered on her features. Then she remembered what had happened in the battle and turned to the hell raven. “Miss, can I ask you a question? I know it’s not the right time for something like this, but it’s important.” Utsuho looked down at Koishi before looking back at Kasen. "Sure thing. What do you need to tell me?" she asked, stroking Koishi's palm. The hermit quietly sat down next to Okuu, looking at Koishi. “What exactly is her power? I saw her manifesting an illusion of a person out of thin air. I know the person in question, but… I can’t understand why your friend would materialize her.” "Koishi-sama's power is essentially manipulating one's subconscious," Utsuho explained, squeezing Koishi's hand gently. "I suppose she materialized that person since they were pretty intense on your mind?" “No…” Kasen narrowed her eyes, pondering the implications of the illusion. “Not my mind.” In her mind, she reviewed the winged one’s expressions hardening as she saw the fake Shinki appearing in front of her. She took another look at the satori, silently thanking her, then she looked at Okuu with a faint smile. “She’s brave for her age, if she hadn’t appeared, I don’t think we would have defeated one of the creatures… and…” Her eyes shifted to the futon a little father to her left for a second. “…my friend would probably have died. I owe Koishi a lot.” Utsusho smiled softly, looking back down at Koishi's sleeping form. "I just hope she recovers soon..." The hermit nodded, patting the hell raven’s back with a smile as she stood up. “With you cheering for her, I’m sure she will.” And she walked to her own futon, theories and plans running inside her mind.

WE BEGIN THE NEXT COLLAB WITH MURASA AND SEIJA, AND OTHERS WE DON'T CARE ABOUT!
In the sky above the war site that was the human village, the lone amanojaku floated above the village, briefly looking back at the village for a second. She sighed as she really had no reason why she returned to the village but she quickly floated to the floor. "Oi, Sailor, you here?" There was no response, the only noises that could be heard in the Village were yells, screams and the sounds of explosions and danmaku zipping through the air. "Nice language..." Seija sighed as she crushed the air in her hand and arrows circled around her body, in case any stray danmaku or an attacker struck her. The captain panted as she avoided another beam. It was simply unbelievable to her that one person could put up a fight against five of them. Momiji hugged the left side of her torso, blood covering her white clothes. She made no sound, but it was visible she was reaching her limit, yet, the tengu showed no intention on backing down. Still baring down on the winged creature, were Keine and Ichirin, Unzan swinging down his massive fist against her. Further down to her left, the nue was panting on the ground, wounds everywhere, and yet, she struggled to stand up and continue to fight. “Nue, retreat!” Murasa yelled above the sounds as she prepared to attach the creature herself. “No… way…” “For cryin’ out loud, get yer ass movin’ out of here!” There was no anger in the captain’s voice, she was pleading her friend to retreat. “We can’t lose anyone else!” She added through gritted teeth. Nue clenched her hands. And then, she began to run towards the explosions and scream, her arrows began to lean closer to whatever was happening, she then comically tripped at the last second as her arrows shattered, she held her nose for a second. The unidentified flying girl dragged herself along the deserted streets, trying to stop the bleeding on her arm even if the other bleeding wounds on her body made it a futile attempt. She laid against one of the partially destroyed houses, trying to renew her strengths, her eyes shifting to the lightened sky above the battlefield. Seija then shot up from the ground, looking at the flying girl dragging herself through the deserted streets, she sighed as she screamed out to her. "Oi, you alright?" For a moment, Nue seemed prepared to attack her, but realizing who she was, she lowered her hand. “You’re… that trickster amanojaku…” She nodded negatively. “What are you doing here? It’s dangerous.” "Oh really?" She remarked as she looked around, seeing the destroyed village. "It's not like you're fighting for tooth and nail to protect humans!" She then suddenly offered a hand to Nue, and she smiled. "If it's dangerous, we need to get you out of here." “Thanks, but I can do that on my own.” The nue said, gratefully and then added with urgency. “If you know what’s happening, you shouldn’t have---“ And then another big explosion shook the ground, the light generated by it brightening up the skies as if it was day. “Ah…” Nue looked at it, white with worry. "Oh shit..." She looked at the explosion, but she shrugged it off for a second. "How many people are in the village right now?! Apart from me and you!" The other girl didn’t take the eyes from the explosion. “Four more fighting the enemy…” She trailed off, obviously concerned with what had just happened. “We evacuated as many humans as we could but… I don’t know if there were more caught in the attacks.” "Where are the other four fighting then?" She was just about ready to take to the skies again, but she waited as her foot tapped against the ground impatiently for Nue to speak. "And to the humans, sadly we're gonna lose a few, but there are loads at the Myouren Temple, I'd go there right now." “Where do you think they’re fighting?!” She asked exasperate d, pointing with her hand at the explosion. And then there was silence, the battle noises had ceased and the quietness that followed was blood curling. Nue seemed to be holding her breath, trying desperately to hear anything, something that would tell her that her companions were alright. And then she quickly took to the skies, speeding towards the area where the explosion had once been, she looked back at Nue for a second before she soon arrived over at the area where Nue's companions had been fighting with an unknown being. Seija quickly looked down at the scene to get an idea what had happened. There was a small crater in the center of the battlefield, a big ball of pink smoke stood in the middle, the misty pink form slowly dissipating into the air. On the other side of the crater, a white form was laying on the ground unmoving, near it stood another one, moving slightly, both covered by debris of all sorts. There was no sign of any flying creature. "Oh shit!" She saw the small crater and she shot down to the ground, she had her hands to her side, ready to call a spellcard at literally any moment something moved in the crater, she was breathing heavily as she descended at the edge of the crater, she looked to see what was in the crater apart from the big ball of pink smoke. In the middle of the crater stood nothing, rather, if anything had stood there it was whipped out by the explosion. The pink smoke dissolved completely, revealing a sprawled Ichirin, panting on the ground, grime and sweat covering her blood spattered clothes. Next to her was the were-hakutaku, not looking any better than the nun, sitting on the ground, forehead supported on her knees as she breathed in, attempting to control her breathing. She seemed to have noticed Seija’s presence as she raised her eyes to the amanojaku, but she remained quiet. She then leaped into the crater, quickly putting her index finger on the nun's neck, attempting to check her pulse, and after feeling a pulse; she attempted to slump the poor nun onto her back. "Don't worry, Yui Kawarau is here now..." “H-hey, ouch… ghh… Let me go, you half-wit!” She pushed the amanojaku out of her, trembling slightly as pain shoot through her body. “I’m starting to worry because you’re here!” Despite being battered up, the nun seemed pretty much alive and sharp tongued as always. Keine, on her hand, slowly stood up, a mix of disbelief and sadness on her face as the realization of how destroyed the Village was downed on her. "I'm helping you! God, don't you people trust me?!" She looked down at Keine, slowly patting her on the back as she bent down. "It's not your fault, whatever the fuck you were fighting did this, with no regards for life..." “I… know.” The hakutaku’s voice was quiet, as she looked around, having been snapped from her shock by Seija’s words. “But... I couldn’t even defeat it...” Her eyes darted frankly in all directions, then she turned to Ichirin. “Where’s Momiji and Murasa?” The nun propped herself up, mimicking Keine’s movements. “I…”She looked at the other side of the crater, as she realized with a gasp. “They were on the other side of the crater!” And without another word, the two rushed to the other side, their wounds laying forgotten as adrenaline, once again, kicked in. "Hey, you two are still injured!!" She screamed as she quickly followed after the hakutaku and the nun. "You need to go back to Myouren Temple along with that other girl!" “We’re not leaving them behind!” Ichirin said as she started searching for their missing companions. “H-hey…” A familiar voice ringed. “Momiji is right here!” Keine and Ichirin immediately followed the voice, finding Murasa under a pile of rubble. When the two started removing the rubble from her, the sailor protested. “Ignore me, for god’s sake! I’m a ghost!” She stretched her arm, pointing at the other pile of rubble. “Momiji is right there.” And they rushed to the tengu. Seija just stood there dumbfounded by the current events, she pretended to take an crigette to her mouth and pretended to smoke it, to relieve some of the stress. "Good grief..." Murasa glared at Seija, her urge to pummel the amanojaku only quelled by the situation she was in. She closed her eyes, turning green and blinking out of the pile of debris. “Momiji!” Keine’s voice was urgent as she held the wolf tengu. “Please, stay with us! You’re going to be fine!” Her clothes were completely red, not a sliver of white peeking through it, blood came in torrents from the corner of her mouth and her eyes were losing their focus. The wolf opened her mouth to speak, but only a gargled sound came out of her mouth and she coughed more blood. As her body shake, her hand clasped Keine’s blouse weakly, a request reflected in her unwavering eyes. ‘Please, put an end to the culprit. Make it regret what she has done.’ it said. As the hakutaku nodded firmly, tears filling her eyes, Momiji smiled gratefully, the grip of her hand going slack as she closed her eyes, breathing for the last time. Seija then tilted her neck for a second, and then she looked down at Momiji, she hadn't even spoke, but to herself, she thought about the aspect of death, she turned away from the group suddenly. The rest of them were silent, there were quiet sobs coming from Keine but no one dared to speak a word. “Let’s go back.” Murasa said, her voice barely containing her anguish, and she started walking away. Seija nodded slowly in agreement as she hadn't dare look Murasa in the eye, she slowly patted Keine on the back again, and she spoke softly. "We'll make sure that she receives a proper burial, and that we make the bastard pay..." Keine merely nodded at Seija’s words, even if she didn’t say anything, her eyes asked for blood.

Final part of yet another collab. The feels. :c
Sanae covered her mouth, her yellow eyes wide with disbelief and fear.
The Human Village was destroyed beyond repair. Frantic residents were scrambling around the wreckage, shouts and screams of despair and grief echoing throughout the air. The green-haired shrine maiden could only watch, completely disturbed.
"O-Oh my goddesses..." she whispered, flying down and running into what remained of the village without a second thought.
As steps echoed in the deserted streets, Nue straightened herself, hope in her voice as she followed the sound. “Ichir…” And her voice died out as she saw the shrine maiden approaching. “The Moriya shrine maiden…”
Stopping in front of the youkai alien, Sanae gasped seeing her injury. "Nue Houjuu...are you alright?" she asked, looking at her wounds in concern.
The girl nodded. “I won’t die from this.” She looked at the miko’s eyes. “Have you seen Ichirin or Murasa?”
"I just came into the village..." Sanae answered, biting her lip. "I'm just...what happened...?"
“The village was attacked by a creature… we never seen that girl before…” Nue winced and the reclined against a wall again. “Feathered white wings… she stood her ground against five of us. And she was fighting that Kasen hermit and her friend before we arrived…” Her eyes looked at a destroyed house. “She did this.”
"Kasen..."
The shrine maiden gently gripped Nue's shoulders. "I-Is everyone alright?"
“I don’t know…” She replied, unsure if she wanted to know the answer. “Murasa told me to retreat… there was an explosion and… everything went quiet…” She clenched her hand. “The only thing I could hear were your foosteps.”
“I don’t know…” She replied, unsure if she wanted to know the answer. “Murasa told me to retreat… there was an explosion and… everything went quiet…” She clenched her hand. “The only thing I could hear were your footsteps.”
"I see..." the shrine maiden breathed. "I was on my way to Myouren Temple...you should come with me."
“I can’t leave without them!” The girl said pleadingly. “I… can’t lose more of my friends… I… have to wait for them…”
As if on cue, the sound of several footsteps could be heard, pacing slowly through the deserted streets.
"Easy now, Nue..." Sanae whispered to calm the girl down. "We'll wait then."
She turned her head in the direction of the footsteps.
Three people were walking tiredly, when they stepped into the moonlight Sanae could see their faces. Murasa was in the front, she looked at both girls and for a second she looked relieved to see Nue was alive.
Ichirin was in the middle, she had a solemn look to her and, surprisingly enough, she didn’t seem inclined to talk.
Walking with Seija behind her was Keine, still sobbing quietly, a red, slumped form in her arms, she wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings.
Sanae smiled seeing the group, but her smile quickly disappeared as face transformed into a look of pure terror as she saw Keine with the body in her arms. Once her eyes noticed a familiar pair of dog ears and short white hair, she slumped to the ground.
Nue didn’t speak a word, she approached Ichirin and Murasa and hugged them, sobbing quietly as they hugged her back.
Keine approached Sanae, still crying. “I’m sorry…” Was all she managed through her strangled sobs.
Words couldn't escape the shrine maiden's throat. The shock of seeing one of her friends perished was too much for her to take. Her fingers raked through her hair as she closed her eyes tight, tears quickly running down her cheeks.
"S-She...M-Momiji...n-no...this isn't happening...this isn't happening..."
Sanae clutched her hair, her stomach turning.
"T-This isn't real...it most certainly isn't real..."
The captain sympathetically put a hand on Sanae’s shoulder. “Kochiya… I’m sorry for yer loss.” She looked down. “She fought to the very end and…” Words died in her throat and she gritted her teeth.
"T...This night...has been the longest and worst night of my life..." Sanae cried, turning around and embracing Murasa, resting her head on her shoulder. "I just want it to end..."
The sailor flinched slightly at the proximity, clearly not used to physical contact. She collected herself and hugged Sanae back, patting her back. “I know… I… get how ya’re feelin’… I don’t want to lose anyone anymore… yet…” She clenched her teeth, remembering that the creature had gotten away.
Sanae sniffed, wiping her tears away as she tried to contain herself. "K-Keine..." she muttered, her voice cracking. "B-Bring her here..."
The hakutaku obeyed, carefully laying the tengu on the ground, looking down at her peaceful face, her final smile still present in her lips.
The shrine maiden reached out hesitantly and stroked her hair, biting her lip as she looked down at the deceased tengu. Seeing the other girl's smile nearly made her lose it again, but she would only allow more tears to cascade down her cheeks. She moved her hand to her cheek, shuddering that her skin was stone cold now.
None of the others spoke, they stood there in solemn silence, giving the shrine maiden time to bid her friend goodbye, fighting back tears of their own.
"...Rest well, Momiji Inubashiri..." Sanae whispered, closing her eyes as she embraced her body into her arms, not caring that her clothing was getting stained in blood. "I'll miss you dearly..."
Keine waited until Sanae had finished and gingerly picked up the girl’s body once again.
“We… should keep going.” Murasa spoke up as she looked at her injured friends and then back at the shrine maiden. “Will ya join us? It ain’t a good idea for ya to be alone.”
"Y-Yeah...I needed to go to the temple, anyway..." the shrine maiden replied quietly.
“Let’s go.” Murasa lead the way to the temple, climbing the stairs slowly, pondering how the others would react.
Seija was at the back of the group on their way to Myouren Temple, she had her head facing the floor and her hands dangling by her sides, she hadn't dare speak a word since the simplest word would set off Murasa in a steaming fit of rage.
But then, she suddenly spoke. "...Do you think that we got any closer in finding the Ripper?"
“Whaddya mean, if we got closer? That flying bitch is clearly the Ripper.” The sailor narrowed her eyes and spoke through her clenched teeth. “At least now we know what the fucktard looks like.”
"Well, after we do all the funereal things, let’s make the flying bitch a giant pin cushion..." She smiled at the thought of that, but she had a fuzzy image since she wasn't there during the battle.
“Yeah.” She clenched her hands on her anchor. “I’m makin’ that bitch suffer for all she did.” There was a murderous aura to the sailor, one she had decided to throw away when Byakuren had found her.
"You're all fired up. I like that." Seija smirked as she felt that murderous aura to Murasa. "That bitch will be your bitch when you're through with it."
“Hey, calm down, both of you.” Nue frowned, looking at the rest of the group lagging behind them. “Now is not the time to be plotting revenge.”
"We're plotting our revenge after the funeral business..." She sighed as she glared at Nue for a second.
Murasa stepped inside the Temple and almost instantly she felt everyone’s gaze on her. The monk was the first one to stand up, a grim and sad expression on her face as she saw Momiji’s motionless body.
The oni standing next to the door didn’t react, she just stood in place, looking newly arrived group.
"..." She went back to not speaking as she slipped past Murasa and Co. as she attempted to stand next to the Oni and whispered in her ear. "...Seen death before?"
-
Flandre looked at the motionless body of the wolf tengu. She lowered her head and didn't say a word. 'This is how far the incident has gone... but... Why would the culprit do all this...?'
Sanae noticed Kanako looking at her and looked downward, biting her lip as she tried to not cry again.
Kasen’s face was stone cold, her hands balled up. “More than I’d want to.” Despite her expression, her eyes were filled with pain, shining like mirrors from the tears she successfully held back. “Momiji…” Her eyes then fell on the heartbroken miko, she approached her and put an hand on shoulder.
The hermit and Sanae both lived in the youkai mountain, meeting the wolf tengu was a common occurrence, and they had become friends and now, it seemed hard to graps the fact that someone they saw almost every day, that they had shared stories and laughs with had simply ceased to exist.
Seija sighed, looking at the stone cold face. "It's amazing how cold people can be when people are killed... But what amazes me more is, how many more will this bastard take... Strings are being tugged until they snap, leaving the person to fall into the abyss. How many more will be taken?"
Sanae let out a small gasp from the sudden contact Kasen gave her before softening. "She's gone, Kasen..." she grieved. "She's really gone..."
She didn’t say anything, there was nothing she could say. It wasn’t the first time Kasen had lost friends and it wasn’t something one could get used to or easily find comforting words. There was no comfort in death, it was something that happened and before you knew it, it had become an irreversible fact. How could you find reassuring words when that was all it was?
"...Fine, be that way, I prepared that speech in the bathroom and all that..." She then quickly stormed off, towards the other end of the temple.
Byakuren had picked the tengu on her arms and taken her inside, accompanied by Ichirin. Kyouko snapped from her shocked trance and rushed to Nue, making her lay down on one of the futons and starting to fuss over her wounds.
Nazrin stood frozen, looking at the deceased tengu, trying to control recent memories and tears, she breathed in, trembling, and then, using all her willpower, she had moved to Keine, helping the hakutaku with her wounds.
The captain, on the other hand, twirled on her heels. “I’m going back to the Village. There’s no one guarding it and there might be survivors.” And she left without waiting any second.
Meanwhile, Shinmyoumaru finally rose from her futon as she attempted to lie up, looking at Seija storming down the room.
The green-haired shrine maiden sat down off to the side, her head still hung down. "I could've saved her if I moved faster..." she lamented to herself, burying her face in her hands.
‘What is happening here?’ Shinmyoumaru thought to herself as she looked around at the large group that had formed near the door.
“Sanae…” The goddess started, patting the girl’s head. “…You can’t blame yourself for that.” She nodded negatively. “There are things that must happen… even if they are painful.”
"B-But Lady Kanako...she didn't deserve to die..." Sanae whimpered, looking up at her goddess with dark yellow eyes.
“She didn’t. But that is meaningless for the forces that balance between life and death.” Kanako said, a sad look in her eyes. “Such is the natural order of things.”
"Yeah...you're right..." the miko sighed in defeat, looking back down.

Calmly walking the snowy path amidst the sunflowers, the cloaked figure made her way to the only house visible in the distance. Despite the melting snow, an early reminder that Spring was slowly but steadily approaching, her feet made no sound as they connected with the mush under her. However, as soundless as she might have been, it was apparently not silent enough to go unnoticed by Flower Youkai currently fussing over the yellow flowers as if the skies were brimming with sunlight. An almost imperceptible twitch of her head indicated she had taken notice of her presence, but it was all there was. The green haired continued her gardening, humming softly, silently prepared to lash back should she have changed her mind about their alliance, or so the cloaked figure guessed. Looking casually at the scarlet sky, she decided to break the silence conversationally. “You act as though we’re in summer. Does this mist not bother your flowers in the slightest?” Yuuka sighed, "Of course it bothers them. That's why I'm taking extra care to tend to them while this mist lasts. My intuition tells me it will clear up soon, though." She continued to keep her back turned to the figure, and picked up a watering can beside her. Peering in its open top, she noticed it was empty - again. Getting a bigger watering can was going to have to be high priority when she next went to the village. The youkai picked the conversation back up, "How's our fairy friend doing?" “She’s alive. I very much doubt she is enjoying her quarters but her happiness is completely irrelevant for her purpose.” The cloaked figure crossed her arms. “In any case, her usefulness will soon come to an end.” A smirk formed on her lips. “That aside, must say I’m surprised there was no trap waiting for me here. May I assume that we aren’t going to backstab each other in the near future?” The youkai did not answer what had been asked, but it was clear she wasn't ignoring it. She turned her head, to show her emotionless face. "Take off your hood." The creature chuckled. “To confirm the very theory that brought you to that place? Very well, I shall amuse you.” She removed the hood from her head with no hesitation and looking at Yuuka was a light green haired woman, with a familiar pair of red eyes peering with the same intensity as the youkai's. “Was this the answer you were looking for, or perhaps there’s something more?” "I already knew the answer, but it just wouldn't do for business partners to hide themselves from each other." She looked quizzically at the image of herself. "I'm going to be fairly direct now, and ask you questions until you're unwilling to answer any more. Let's start with what drives you. Why do you attack people, and drain their life?" Yuuka’s reflection pondered for a bit. “I suppose that, ignoring my companion’s part in this, I drain their life essence so that I, myself can live.” She smiled. “I was a mindless invention of a wild dream, I was not made to wander away from that chaotic agglomerate of night time thoughts. You know very well it’s not a small feat to enter the Dream World with your corporeal body, the opposite is quite true as well. It gets trickier if you don’t have a body per se.” She chuckled. “Their life essence is one of the temporary fuels for my existence here. Soon, Gensokyo will accept me.” She stopped. There was clearly more to it but instead, she looked at the youkai in the eyes. “And you, what would a youkai that already knows the depths of the Dream World want with one of its dwellers?” The Flower Master shrugged as she spoke, "Ever since the spellcard rules were introduced, life in Gensokyo has been incredibly boring. Particularly recently, with the lack of any interesting incidents, I've had nothing to do but tend to my flowers. I do love my flowers, but what I love more is..." She tightened her fist, "I love crushing weaklings, destroying those who don't have the desire to improve themselves, and the occasional early morning slaughter." Turning to face the figure fully, she was clearly more focused on her own thoughts than who was in front of her. "I wanted to do something exciting, adventurous, destructive. And what could be more fun than finding a creature from the dream world, befriending them and going on a genocide together? Your priorities lie elsewhere, though, and I was foolish to think I could find anyone with the same values as me." She took a step forward toward the reflection. Even though it was just a mirror image of herself, somehow the real Yuuka was able to seem taller and look down upon them. She showed a large smile, revealing clenched teeth, and her eyes widened. "I'll take the opportunity now to say... we are not on equal terms." She tapped on the mirror, "If you come into my garden, you will do as I say. Your existence in Gensokyo currently rests on an unreliable source of energy, and it is not beyond my power to cut that off from you. However, if you have something diabolical planned, I'm open to helping you with that, in exchange for a single spell that I've been looking for in the dream world for a long time." “You are right, we aren’t on equal terms.” She crossed her arms, looking smugly at the flower youkai. “Currently, you can’t hurt me. But you are right when you say you can cut off my sustenance. It would be interesting to see you fight against the entire Gensokyo, however.” Passing around, looking at nothing in particular, the reflection continued talking. “For someone to have an impact in this world, someone has to exist in that world first.” A creepy smirk formed on her lips. “Do you see me as the kind of person who’s wants to exist just to sit down in the middle of the forest, reading books by the fireplace? If so, you are more naïve than anticipated.” Her eyes fell on the original once again, face serene despite the crazed smirk, thinking quietly as her gazed dwelled on Yuuka’s own. “Catching golden fish is nothing but a game that little children play at the festivals. Hunting whales, however, is far more interesting, is it not? So tell me, is child play what interests you the most?” "If you think there are any whales left in this world but me, then you are not very strong." she growled angrily. "I'll humour you by joining in with whatever game you are planning, but I can assure you that whichever side I am on will win. So convince me! Why should I help you secure your 'whales'?" "Because it will be fun." The ripper stated simply, smiling. "You spend your time bored, tending to flowers, getting rid of weaklings that have no hope of defeating you and yet, you yourself, let outsiders rule Gensokyo." She started passing, admiring the yellow flowers of the garden. "Gensokyo needs no gods." A bigger smile formed on her lips. "Gensokyo needs chaos. How amusing would it be to see the hopeless faces of humans when those they believe in stopped existing?" Her eyes fell on Yuuka. "The living creatures of this world interest me. How they react, how they put their complete trust on something other than themselves. I'm not alive so I want to know what look they will have when everything is taken from them. When even those they hope will protect them are gone." "I have no plans for who rules Gensokyo. I like the natural balance; idealism politics is dangerous for everyone who has to bear witness to it. You can compare the world to flowers - some grow tall and strong, others low and fragile. Some live short and rely on others, others live a long time and survive independently." She plucked a sunflower out of the ground and handed it to the creature, "Sunflowers are perhaps the most descriptive of flowers, since they state not only what they look like but also where they derive their primary source of energy. The sun is relied upon by all flowers, and is comparable to a God relied upon by people." There was a slight frown from Yuuka, "If you seize the sun, the flowers will wilt. I think it's fairly self-explanatory what would happen if you seize the people's Gods." She leaned on her parasol, and shifted an eyebrow, "However, as nice as my theory may be, a new world order would at least keep me busy for a while. Count me interested, although allow me to keep my garden safe first." The Ripper accepted the sunflower and she looked at it absentmindedly. “You’re not wrong. But I wonder… It is humans who created the gods. Without faith, gods, just like flowers, will wither and die. The sun needs no flowers to live, however, does it? Witches abhor the gods even if they’re human and yet they live. Aren’t humans closer to be the personification of the sun rather than the gods?” "In that case, the analogy fails... but I understand what you're saying. My only concern is that Gods exist on faith, not strength. Even the weakest Gods will survive an attack if people have faith in them. So I'm curious as to how you're going to get around this." Her face remained expressionless. “Yes, gods are thought forms, projections of mass belief. Thoughts and beliefs can be changed, moulded and, ultimately, wiped. To defeat a God, you only need to be stronger than them. It isn’t a hard feat, currently, if you play your cards correctly. One might not be able to destroy a god, but one can destroy beliefs.” She raised her eyes to Yuuka. “I can’t kill them but it is within my power to make them irrelevant. It’s very much in your power as well. There is no bigger feeling of helplessness when you see that in which you so strongly belief get crushed into nothingness in front of your very eyes.” The Ripper smiled. “I think you have as much interest as me in becoming a god, but I feel that witnessing the despair in the face of those who are more interested in hiding behind an idealized picture of divinity instead of growing strong themselves is a mutual interest.” She smelled the sunflower, eyes closed. “I have no sympathy for cannon fodder, insects that have no reason to exist, worms that were blessed with a soul and a body only to live in mediocrity. Call it scientific curiosity, knowing if there are more than one exception to the rule or if there are no other places for humans other than subjugation or extinction.” She passed a bit more, resting the sunflower on the tea table on the flower youkai’s porch. “Humans are extremely interesting, I find. I want to know what makes them tick.” "From my experience, humans are slow creatures. I don't mean this in the sense they are stupid," she then muttered, " even though they are ," then quickly continued, "but rather in that because their life spans are so short they heavily rely on culture and longstanding institutions in order to foster stability. It is only with stability that self-improvement can be attained by the majority, since only a minority can function well in a chaotic environment." Yuuka span, almost in a trance, "It's my belief that the humans can change to the point where they all wish to become stronger and break free from their shackles - but it must come slowly. If you force this upon them too quickly, first they will resist, and then they will destroy themselves. I feel that's a result you're comfortable with, though. The thing is, while I would love to see the humans squirm, I also recognise that the humans keep Gensokyo in balance and my life is going to be more annoying than fun if they're gone. How can I be assured that this isn't just a thoughtless experiement and my position won't be at risk?" “Your words hold truth.” The creature started pondering, the smile ever present. “If all the humans were gone this would be no different than my home.” Her eyes looked up as she searched her mind for a better term. “Or should I say cage? No matter, I digress.” She met Yuuka’s gaze. “However, it was never my intention to destroy them completely, the Dream World is quite the tedious place when you have lived your whole life there, I have no intention to obliterate all that’s living, that would render my goals futile. Rest assured, that will not happen.” Her eyes closed as she stated what seemed to her an unarguable truth. “Humans are fickle beings, destroy one of their beliefs and they will be quick to replace it, clenching for something that will dull their despair. We only need to crush them one by one, their beliefs and their gods.” The green-haired flower youkai sighed. "Alright." A pause. "I don't trust you, but I think if you don't keep your word I'm in a good enough position to put you down." She extended a hand, "Most importantly, I'm bored. Working against those do-gooders is more fun than working with them. What's the plan?" “I would like to—“ The Ripper interrupted her own speech as she looked in the direction of the Village. There was something brightening the skies above it, as if an explosion had occurred. She hummed to herself in thought. “It seems the humans are already being entertained…” It was evident from her expression that whatever had just happened was unexpected to her, she faced Yuuka once more. “I guess that now, this has turned out to be a question of risking to break them or not… well, provided that they don’t break themselves in the meantime.” She smiled. “So, my dear associate, these are the choices…”

Collab with Dani. sorta. only the first part of the post, really.
The green-haired sprite rested her head against the bars of her own cell. She was getting really desesperate at this point. For the few -or many, she didn't even know how much time had passed- hours she had been trapped there, the room had been in pretty much absolute silence. The small fireball she created before to add a little more light to the room had died out not too long ago, and now the glowing cells were the only thing that assured her she didn't become blind. Dai felt like if she stayed anymore in that cell she would go insane. She needed to contact someone on Gensokyo somehow, so that they'd be able to get her and Layla out of the Dream World. If only she could use her link to nature to contact some other fairy in Gensokyo... A small lightbulb lighted up on the fairy's brain. She turned her head towards Layla's cell. "Say, Layla... You said you were linked to the ripper, right?" “I still am, yes.” Layla confirmed, her voice sounding hoarse from lack of use. "I was wondering... What does being linked to the ripper allow you to do, if anything?" “I can see what it’s thinking… but the connection has become fainter lately…” She looked at Dai, even though she couldn’t see past the thick curtain of darkness. “Our souls are connected after all, that creature needed me to act as a bridge to Gensokyo, since the Dream World wouldn’t allow it to leave. The fact that we now have a connection with Marisa is also why I could communicate with her… but I think that’s gone now.” She looked down. "I see, in that case..." Dai scratched her head. She wasn't sure if her plan would work or if it would even be possible, but... "You see, I'm a fairy, and as such, I'm linked to nature. Do you think that, using the same method, I could communicate with other fairies who share the same link as I do?" There was silence as Layla thought. The Dream World fiend had attached itself to her soul, the soul of someone that belonged to Gensokyo, like a leech in order to be able to travel to there and she was able to still read its thoughts even when its essence was so far away… Would it be possible for her to exploit her connection in a similar way and connect a Gensokyo being to Gensokyo from the depths of the Dream World? “It’s possible, that may be viable. But…” She looked to Dai’s cage, her voice already sounding defeated, as if she had hoped so many times only for those hopes to fall short. “I need to establish a connection with you and that means that I have to touch you.” Her eyes looked at the distance separating their cages and she closed her eyes in defeat. Then it hit her, they couldn’t leave the cage but maybe they could move it. Even if it had materialized out of magic, it was still something physical. Layla stood up, a faint sliver of determination in her eyes, and she began to ram her body against the bars, each time the magic object striking her back in a painful zap of green magic, but not even a yelp escaped her lips. She kept repeating the procedure, ignoring Dai’s worried squeaks, until her cages were at an arm’s reach. The poltergeist feel on her fours, panting, the most of her energy quickly seeping away as if her body was no longer used to struggle. Dai stared at the panting poltergeist. "I... I'm sorry for making you do that... I'm really sorry..." “Please, don’t apologize.” She started, finally catching her breath. “This whole incident happened because of me.” Her emerald orbs finally met Dai’s, they seemed to be filled by hope, a smile formed in her mouth contrasting with her pale, tired complexion and dark bags under her eyes. “If we have a chance to end this, then let’s try it!” Her voice, for the first time, ringed melodiously, the previous monotone tone eclipsing into thin air as if it had never existed. Dai looked at Layla for a few seconds, without saying a word, before nodding. "So... You just need to touch me, right...?" she kneeled down, and carefully passed her arm through the bars, trying to reach Layla's cage. A pale hand reached Dai’s and clasped it gently as the ghost closed her eyes. “Think of one person you want to speak with, focusing on many targets makes it more difficult.” "Well... I really don't want to put Cirno in danger... And Lily's really hindered due to not being in Spring... So..." she closed her eyes, focusing her thoughts on a certain black-haired, starlight-themed fairy. And countless voices rang through her head at the same time, ringing in a loud and chaotic mass of echoes and gibberish, and then she could hear, faintly, the familiar voices of the two fairies she was searching for. --- Beneath the Hakurei Shrine, inside a small treehouse, a young, black-haired fairy slept in her bed. Or at least, she pretended to do so. Truth is, she hadn't been able to sleep during the whole night. The wooden door of the treehouse opened with a slight creaking sound, as a blonde fairy stepped inside. The black-haired fairy closed her eyes, hoping that her roommate would believe that she was sleeping. The blonde fairy sighed. "You're still sleeping, Star?" she crossed her arms. "Wake up already, jeez. The scarlet mist has finally dissipated and the sun shines brightly, we can go play some pranks!" the moonlight fairy looked towards her friend's unmoving body. "... I heard you crying last night, y'know. I know you're still sad about Sunny, but you should really let it go... It's not like she won't wake up." Silence. "... I guess you really are sleeping then. Or you just don't want to talk." she sighed. "I'll be outside. When you're in the mood to play, call me." with those words, the blonde fairy exited the treehouse, closing the door besides her. The starlight fairy didn't even bother to look back at the door. "How can she be so happy and easy-going?! I mean, Sunny's still back at the temple and she's as good as..." she couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence. Star rolled on her bed and closed her eyes, trying to at least get some rest. *BGM: None* At that point, a familiar voice ringed in her head, calling her name. "Star...". the black-haired fairy opened her eyes, startled , sat down on her bed and looked around. There was no one in the house besides her. Could it have been her imagination? She shrugged and lied down on her bed again. Then the voice rang again. "Star..." This time, the fairy stood up and looked around once more, before saying. "This is not funny, Dai. I'm not in the mood for jokes, so please go away." "This is not a joke, Star. Please, I need you to listen to me. It's very important..." the green-haired fairy's voice spoke in Star's head once more. The black-haired fairy rubbed her chin. What was all this about? Having Dai's voice suddenly popping up in your head wasn't the most normal thing, even in Gensokyo. Granted, she herself, Sunny and Luna had done pranks like this before to the humans in the village, but still... Moreover, neither Dai nor Cirno had the ability to conceal themselves... And even if they did, Dai tended to refuse joining in on pranks. "Fine. I'll listen, but make it quick." she answered, in an angry tone. She still wasn't sure about this whole thing, but at the same time there was no reason to distrust Dai. "Thank you..." the green-haired fairy let out a sigh of relief that Star could barely hear before continuing "You see... I've been investigating about this whole incident, ever since you asked me and Cirno to go after Reimu and Marisa... My investigations led me to believe that the culprit to this whole incident -some sort of 'ripper'- could manipulate dreams and that it was living on some sort of dream world. I eventually found someone that could take me to that dream world in question, but... I got betrayed." the sprite fell silent for a few seconds. "The thing is, I'm now trapped in what I believe is the culprit's lair, inside the dream world. I managed to find a way to contact you thanks to the help of the other captive here, so the thing is... I need you to go around and ask for help, Star. I dunno where exactly in the dream world I am, so I can't really pinpoint the location... But at the very least the people whom you ask for help might be able to locate the ripper... Somehow..."The black-haired fairy listened to the entire explanation without saying a word, until Dai had stopped speaking. "... Who is this person that's with you?" she asked. "... Her name is Layla. That's... that's all I know about her." Dai answered. "Star... Please... We need the help and you're the only one I can contact."The starlight fairy fell silent, thinking about it. If what Dai said was true, then maybe helping her would lead to the ripper getting defeated... And maybe that would make Sunny wake up. That's how things seemed to work, at least from what she read on the weird books Luna found out while strolling around. "Very well. I'll try and help, Dai." she fell silent and pulled off a snarky smile before continuing. "In return, I want you to give me control of all the Lake Fairies that follow you. Deal?" Star felt like at the very least she had to try and get something out of this, besides possibly waking up Sunny. The green-haired fairy didn't answer. In her mind, she wanted to call out Star on being a jerk when she was in such a desesperate situation, but she really needed the help, and if she refused... "Fine. When I get out of here and the incident is solved." Star giggled slightly. "Alright. I'll get down to searching for someone right away. Remember that you promised~!" she said, as she hurried out outside. Once she was outside, Star scouted the area, looking for Luna. She saw the moonlight fairy, resting besides a tree, and flew over to her, calling her name. Luna raised her hat to look at Star before saying: "What, you finally stopped moping around? So, who do you want to prank?" The starlight fairy landed in front of Luna before crossing her arms. "Forget about the pranks for once, we have something more important to do." the blonde fairy looked over to her companion, confused. Star began explaning what Dai had told her, only omitting the part where she asked Dai for control over the Lake Fairies. "So, basically... Dai is at the culprit's lair and wants us to send her some help...? That's quite trusting of her, specially considering how we've been jerks to her and Cirno in the past." the moonlight fairy said. "But, at the very least... If you say that maybe we can help Sunny with this... Then we might as well give it a try. I mean, if the help we send gets killed by the ripper, it's not our fault." Star nodded. "Pretty much, yeah. So. You got an idea of where to start asking for help?" the moonlight fairy didn't answer. Instead, her head turned slightly to the nearby shrine. "Ah... I see... Well, solving incidents is her job, apparently, so it might be worth a try." Star flew over to the shrine, Luna following closely behind her.

Welcome to Seija does fuck all for a collab, featuring Seija Kijin, Muarasa, Ellen and all those extras!
“Aight, a little to the right…” Murasa gestured for Uzan to drop what would become that new house roof. “Drop it.” Kasen quietly observed the works to restore the Human Village with admiration. Only a couple of days had passed and they had started rebuilding houses and fixing crater, the Myouren people hadn’t spared much time to rest and heal and that alone earned them more respect in her book. It seemed that they had managed to enlist Suika and Yuugi’s help as well, but she was happy that she had managed to avoid them. Still, it was strange for her, to see both humans and youkai working together for a good cause. Seija however, had pretty much deserted the helping effort after half a day and she spent the rest of the days pacing around the entrance to the village, she was kicking a stone down the path as well. Flandre hovered slightly while watching the reconstruction efforts alongside Kasen. She was happy that so many people -even youkai, for that matter- were willing to lend a hand to the destroyed village in order for it to come back to its normal state. However, as happy as she was, Flan couldn't help but be worried. Most of the injured were still in a state of coma, the supposed ripper had vanished without a trace, and most important of all, at least for her, Marisa's location was still unknown. Still, for the past few days, she tried to help as much as she could in the reconstruction, always with a smile. "So this is the stuff I was missing... To be honest, I was expecting youkai preying on the already weakened humans, not helping them." a young female voice rang behind the two girls, with a giggle. "My stereotypes are probably outdated." her last sentence was accompanied by a small meow coming from the white cat sitting on the girl's shoulder. The oni blinked for a few moments and then turned back to the voice, a wide grin on her face. “Ellen!” Kasen hugged the girl, surprisingly careful for the excitement in her voice. “Welcome back!” She added with a laugh while mentally adding that some self-control classes were due now that she had left her oni side run rampant. “It’s great to see you back to your feet.” "Heh, can I begin the ship yet?" Seija smirked as she walked into the village, smiling at the two. The young vampire was quick to join in the hug, which almost made the blonde witch fall down to the floor. "H-hey! Calm down, you two! You're going to break a bone or something!" she sighed as she managed to restabilize her body to avoid falling down. She hugged both the hermit and the vampire back. "I missed you two." once Ellen heard the amanojaku's snarky comment, she turned her head and winked towards Seija. "Jealous~?" she giggled. "What the fuck..." She looked at Ellen with extreme confusion and she tilted her head, and then suddenly flipped her off. "Yeah, that's what you deserve." “Why would you need a ship? We don’t even have a sea.” Kasen asked with a confused frown. “Land rubes.” Murasa commented as she directed Unzan. “Yeah, that’s the next one.” “Maybe it’s a flying ship like the Palanquin?” Nue interjected. “Like you can just build a flyin’ ship, stupid.” The captain replied, getting progressively angry at how ignorant her friends were about nautical transportation. “We’re in Gensokyo, I’m sure we could create one, idiot!” “What didja call me?!” “Hm… Right…” Kasen observed as the other two started debating theories on flying ships creation. Ellen raised an eyebrow towards Seija's gesture. "Well, that wasn't particulary nice of you." the blonde witch closed her eyes. An idea had just popped into her mind. "Hmm... Say, miss... I wonder if you would be interested in stopping by my house at some point..." she opened her eyes and edged closer towards Seija, her voice adopting a somewhat seductive tone. "You see, I know a fair deal of special spells that would allow me to give you a very special treat~. " she stopped right in front of Seija. "I assure you that you and I would have so much fun together, Ms.Youkai~." she let out a giggle. "Oh, and don't worry about not being interested in female-female relationships... I also know some spells that can easily fix that small problem." she put herself slightly more closer and whispered on Seija's ear. " I'd make sure that you would enjoy every second of it... ♥ " the witch turned around, trying her best to not laugh and ruin everything. "Wha?!" She shot up, going to grab Ellen by her neck, she smirked evily as she conjured a white arrow in her free hand, pointing the arrow at her neck, her cheeks erupted in a bright blush. "W-w-what are you saying, b-baka!" Ellen laughed a little. "Oh please, you didn't think I was being serious, did you? To begin with, making me use those spells would cost you. A lot. And on the other hand, I have absolutely no interest in you." she winked at Seija. "Sorry to ruin your dreams~." "Well then..." The blush died down quickly as it appeared and the arrow disappeared into nothingness, she then muttered a few curse words and lied back down next to the tree. “For cryin’ out…” A mutter escaped Kasen as she nodded negatively, trying to deal with all the second hand embarrassment while ignoring the confused looks Flan was giving her. "At least we have humour lady!" She conjured another small arrow and she flicked it, it travelled towards Kasen's head, the arrow was like a tiny pin compared to an ordinary arrow. The blonde witch laughed a little more at seeing Kasen's negative reaction. "Oh come on, don't look at me like that~. I've been in bed for who knows how long, I needed to have a laugh." The young vampire looked at Ellen, still confused. "So, uh... What were you talking about when you said all that?" Ellen giggled a little. "I'm sure your big sister would be willing to tell you when you're older. Isn't that right, Kasen~?" Kasen tilted her head, avoiding the tiny arrow while shooting Ellen a glare. "Maybe you should teach her how females can like each other more than friends..." She smiled to herself as she said that, she also smiled at the childlike innocence of Flandre. "It's not like she doesn't know that, we did read Mari-- Ah, I mean, no, forget that." Kasen averted her gaze to the side. "I still got a lot to live for... I don't wanna die just yet." Seija sighed as she came closer. "So, how goes the reconstruction of the village?" “Slower than we’d expect.” Murasa replied, temporarily interrupting her discussion with Nue. “Though, now that we have the oni and the Hakurei shrine maiden helpin’, it will probably go a bit faster.” “Reimu is here too?” The hermit asked, color slowly draining for her face. “Yeah, she went batshit when she got here. Ya were lucky to be in the temple…” The captain sighed, regretting the fact she had to deal with Reimu alone. She cocked her head, one brow arched in suspicion. “What’s with ya, anyways?” “Ah… ahah, nothing. I just remembered… something…” And Kasen made a move to the temple. "So, fuck, I have to help again, right? If I help, I might cause more damage." Seija chuckled to herself, looking around at the village. "Damn that thing..." “No, no one asked yer help.” Murasa dead-panned almost immediately. "Alright then..." Seija slumped next to a tree and she then bent down, stretching her legs and she looked up at the sky. "The sky sure is beautiful again..." “Yeah.” The captain turned to Unzan again. “That stupid vampire should get her face punched in like a fuckin’ watermelon. If her life is that boring, I wouldn’t mind entertain her by shovin’ my anchor up her ars—“ “Language!” Ichirin’s angry voice pipped in. The ghost merely rolled her eyes. “Up her rear behind?” “That’s not the problem in that sentence and you know it.” “Oh, fuck that! It’s her own fault for being a thoughtless asshole!” She finished annoyed, going back to the pink oversized cloud. “Yeah, get that wall first, big guy.” “So, what else are we gonna do today?" Seija asked, clicking her fingers. “I dunno what ya are gonna do, but we have work to do. So, shoo, shoo, go play with yer friends or somethin’.” Murasa replied, making a shooing gesture towards the amanojaku. "I know you just wanna get rid of me, but you've gotta try harder than that, Miss Murassa." “Ya’re wrong. I just want ya to stay out of the construction site before ya end up causing more trouble, as ya’ve said so yerself.” She glared at the amanojaku, visibly getting angry again. “And before I lose my temper and fuckin’ hitcha with my anchor for that smartass pun.” "Can't I just stay under this tree and watch, I won't cause any trouble..." She smirked at Murasa in a mocking tone before she began to tug at the grass. "I'll just have fun with the grass then." “Yeah, ya do that. At least grass won’t feel like shootin’ their brains out for listening to yer nonsense chatter.” She grumbled before looking back at Seija to emphasize her point. “And that’s only cuz grass ain’t got any brains.” As her final remark, Seija once again pulled up her middle finger for a second as she quickly went back to tugging grass. Murasa shrug it off and continued her work.

Another collab between Dankiri and I. Ayayaya...
Sanae descended down slowly near the riverbank of the Untrodden Valley, humming a quiet tune to herself as she knelt down in front of a flowerbed and gathered flowers of many colors.
It's been a couple days since the Human Village was devastated, which means it was also a couple days since the death of Momiji. The shrine maiden has already mourned the loss of her friend for quite a while, but she couldn't help but feel that depressing feeling of nostalgia just remembering the tengu samurai. She sighed as she put the colorful plants into a small bag.
Further down the riverbank was a Tengu, back turned at Sanae, sitting down near it, apparently oblivious to the shrine maiden’s presence.
Turning around once she was finished, Sanae noticed said tengu. "Hmm...Aya...?" she called out curiously, making her way over. "Is that you?"
There was no reply from the Tengu, she just stood there motionless as if she was meditating.
The shrine maiden hesitantly made her way over, the silence beginning to agitate her a little. "U-Um...Aya? It's me, Sanae...are you alright...?"
Aya gave a startled jump as she quickly rubbed her face. “Ah, yeah… huh, Kochiya-san?” She looked at her, her eyes completely red from crying. “What brings you here?” She forced a completely unconvincing smile.
"I was gathering some flowers...you know, for Momiji..." the shrine maiden trailed off, biting her lip as she moved to stand in front of Aya. "Is it alright if I sit beside you...?"
The tengu’s body tensed up as soon as Sanae mentioned Momiji’s name, her eyes went downcast, looking at the fleeting current of the river and she fell silent, replying the shrine maiden with a nod.
Complying, the miko sat down next to the tengu reporter and gave her a sad smile. "You must be the most affected...you really enjoyed her company..." she said quietly.
“It was my fault.” The Tengu replied simply, with a fake, bitter smile. “If it wasn’t for me, she wouldn’t be there.”
"No, it wasn't your fault," Sanae stated firmly. "Don't you dare think otherwise."
Aya nodded negatively. “She was sent to the Village to clean after my mess.” She clenched her hands, tears pooling in her eyes. “Because of that stupid piece of news…” She gritted her teeth.
"Aya..." the shrine maiden whispered, not knowing what to say or how to respond.
“And now I’m here… hiding from my friends, hiding from everyone… because I don’t know how to face them…” She trailed off and then added quietly. “Because… I don’t even know how to face myself…”
Sanae moved her hand and put it on top of Aya's. "Hey now...you can face me..." she told her just as quietly.
Tears fell down as Aya’s voice started cracking. “….She was… one of my…. best friends…” She managed though hiccups and sobs. “And… I… killed her…” She grasped at Sanae’s shirt. “How am I… going to live with this?”
"Like I said..." the shrine maiden spoke, allowing Aya to grip her collar. "It isn't your fault she's passed away...what happened happened...and we must find a way to move on from this tragedy...Momiji wouldn't want you to continue spilling tears, right...?"
“She wouldn’t… but… she has always been too good a person…” The Tengu let go of Sanae’s clothes, tears still falling freely from her eyes. “I’m… going to visit her grave…” She stood up slowly. “It’s the least I can do…”
"Allow me to join you...I gathered flowers just for this occasion..." Sanae responded as she stood up as well, wiping unshed tears from her eyes.
“Would you… mind if I went ahead?” In her face was a pleading look. Unsaid was the Tengu’s fear of even facing her friend’s tombstone, of knowing if she would crack when she saw it. Deep inside she still wanted to believe that everything had just been a bad dream.
The shrine maiden nodded slowly in response, knowing that the tengu was very unstable in emotion at this point. She wanted to be nearby in case Aya were to have a breakdown and needed to be comforted.
Aya smiled faintly, a thankful smile, before she zipped through the air, disappearing from the shrine maiden’s view almost instantaneously.
Sanae smiled gently and followed Aya as quickly as possible, clutching her bag as close to her as she could.

**Builds a shrine to worship the Blazing Kitty of Cakes** **Offers ice cream to the shrine**
Little hourglass, broken by humans' hands, tenderly loving a handful of tiny, golden sand, again flipped itself. Even the quiet, quiet gazes they exchanged, were speaking words they neglected on the surface. Did the rain drain what is left of their hearts and souls, vaporize their love altogether with their tears from the past? Their positions changed, they changed, something changed- a broken point had caused two parallel lines to stray apart, had changed everything. The scent of rain lingered on as if waiting to fade. Rains fade, and rivers one day would also dry. Blinking, blinking, the earth watched as days came to pass. This rain was no longer the past's rain. We came together from so far away. “You’re free to join in the fun.” “It will be to die for.” To die for! Raising an arm and break into half the soundless little hourglass... What will the sand feel the moment they left for the new world behind the blackhole? You can never return to the days of your childhood laughter. "Sounds fancy." Just like the thing called love. "I will join." Or only, her love. If the sand that was left can spring to the sky and vanish, would it not be better than to forever stream through those two pitch black universes? Her golden dear one had given her the answer. Now, let's go to the sky! Muenzuka, the place where the cold winter winds would be the last thing sending chill down the spines of those that ventured there. Scarlet trees wavered ever so slightly, almost as if unscathed by the strong gusts, the green grass expanding under forgotten tombstones, untouched by the snow as if the place belonged to a different world, a different dimension altogether, where it was always autumn. And in the distance, a single, centenary cherry tree with her vast purple cherry blossoms, eternal and uncaring for the change of seasons. The landscape, as beautiful as it was sent a sense of false calm to any incautious wanderer, who would, undoubtedly, be tempted to absorb, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape, lulled into a false sense of security, inebriated by the sweet scent of acer trees, no different from an insect falling into a flytrap. However, anyone with a bit of sense and magical sensibility would notice, the thick miasma of grief, pain and guilt that permeated the air, as poisonous as the red Higan flowers that dotted the green grass like blood droplets that had remained, lost in time, to remind everyone of the true nature of the idyllic scenery. Yes, a place shunned by most youkai, feared by humans. The place where lost and forgotten souls rested, ignored by all even by its peers that resentfully walked the spider lily infested Road of Reconsideration, forgetting that they had done so before when they had decided put an end to their mortal lives, and forgetting they no longer had a body and that they no longer needed to breathe, condemned to repeat an endless path to reconsider something they no longer could. There was not a single sliver of hope, of happiness or acceptance, the thick mass of sorrow was like a fog that hid anything good behind its impenetrable curtain. Marisa landed at the entrance of the graveyard, her boots connecting with the soft grass soundlessly. There was only silence, apart from the slight rustling of the tree leaves. She felt Alice landing at her side and she started walking, wandering aimlessly through the graveyard. Something in her had been telling her that the wretched sigil would react as she got closer, and after a few minutes of walking it got confirmed as the burning on her neck started and she winced slightly, walking left and right in an awkward game of Hunt the Thimble. It was a common, ordinary tombstone, there was nothing interesting or noteworthy about it. Just an old slab of granite, its shine lost to time, with a faded engraving of the soul’s name. “ Layla Prismriver.” The witch read out loud, having removed the moss that had claimed half of it. Giving two steps back, and without a shred of hesitation or even decency, Marisa pointed her hakkero at the grave, expertly making a shallow enough hole to see the remnants of what appeared to be a casket. Jumping unceremoniously into the hole, she started digging industriously. Her gut was warning her already, that the three musicians wouldn’t sit idly through it. The scent of higanbana corpses lingering on her steps, the path she treaded alongside that one who by now had gone quiet. Red flowers, bright red flowers clouding the ground, as if on her way here, the sunset had somehow been flipped. The petal she clasped in her palms, hastily fell on the casket, as if embracing the sleep that was disturbed. Pale white hands like carrying a fire on their own, diligently digging into pebbly ground, ground that was supposed to be unable to foster life to begin with, only capable of tearing blood from human hands. "Do you want my help, Marisa?"If even the tiniest drops of blood no longer escape her sight, perhaps, she had turned into an animal? No less than a potato, and no more than a potates. If you are a potato, from what eye are you looking to the world? (*)“No.” The black and white answered without sparing a second. “Warn me if you see anyone coming.” False words, even as her hands clawed at the dirt she was keeping check on her surroundings, but she hoped this would keep the puppet master distracted. If silence could be interpreted as an affirmative answer, then that's how they would be, now, and probably forever. Like potatoes, underground, silent, hidden behind thick skins, not facing each other. The upstreaming wind carried the scent of rusty, dusty music, whispering into her ears the sugarcoated lies. Under the sunlight, she saw them moving forwards, ice cream and chocolate layered children, the incomplete pieces of the no less broken orchestra. (**)Swirling trumpet shining as brightly as the child's smile. "Such a coincidence, miss magician... Ah, no, miss youkai magician and miss human magician." Such existence not belonging to any category, making remarks on species so casually. A part of her wondered, if they had to classify, which side of the river those three would be in, if rejected the sky of the "unchanging". This battle here, somehow, was human, and youkai, against ghosts, those who should not have left the gentleness of the pure land. The feet of those two that float, and the feet of them that touched the ground, told a long story about the weight of life. "How do you do, miss youkai magician?" Grinning brightly, as if pulling her closer to "that side", hiding behind the trumpet that was the cause of pain. She could not have but questioned herself, what answer that child had taken from her silence that probably both sides expected. How lonely, two pieces of the puzzles of three... “Oh, so you did come.” Marisa commented casually, forcibly removing the top of the casket with loud creaks that could almost overcome her own voice. “I can’t tell if you’re crazy or stupid.” And with a slam, the top of the decaying casket was tossed aside unceremoniously, raising with it dust from the ground. “But, since you’re here…” Her arms outstretched at her sides, she took a bow, then a humorless smirk. “How about a magic trick?” Akin to the fires of hell, her neck burned but a mix of magic potion and customariness dulled the pain and black was the color that threatened to paint her heart once again. With a violent push, her leg rammed itself down on whatever was under her feet making the sound of old bones cracking accompanied by decrepit wood and then, with a upwards jerk of her leg, she kicked something up, something black, something that reflected the light of the sky. Before the ghosts could reach it, the small hand mirror shone for a second, fleetingly gracing everyone’s eyes before the thief playing magician deftly moved her witch hat holding arm in a circle, catching the mirror inside of it in mid-air. There was no expression on her face, but the look of defiance in her eyes shone brighter than the sun. Turning her hat upside down, she shook it up and down, proving that there was no longer anything inside of it. “And. It’s. Gone. Ta daa!” And she put her hat back atop of the golden mess of hair, no amusement in her demeanor but an obvious sense of accomplishment shining through it. “I don’t do reruns.” "...You really did it." As shadowfrost casted its gloom, the spring on the children's smiles faded into winters, true to the season they were in. The dusts of their sister, what used to be their sister, flowed in the air, like a small animal with stealthy claws clutching in their hearts. Pseudo hearts, racing against the beats of humans. "How cruel." Piano playing red and yellow notes, their requiem the world sang for them. Was this a dream?
Children of long, overdue winter days coming into spring, the winter day with flowers falling from the sky, above the clouds, together they faced the same opponent. I saw deep red..."Well, if it saves you the troubles though." The breeze that flowed through their fingers, told a story about time. Their time that started because someone's time had ended. Time that left them behind in its haste, that kicked them to the sideway, away from the red rooftops and pitch black trains with pure white smoke, of memories that weren't supposed to be theirs to begin with. "We are not going to leave corpses, anyway." This is, the fight of two. And the departure of two. This dream, fostered by colorful bullets, ruffling the young leaves and scarlet flower buds, harboring the lives of golden notes waltzing together on five lines, monochrome as they used to be... With sharp borders, they grazed, the lasers following no beat. "'Campanella,' said Giovanni, turning toward him, 'we're going to stick together, okay?'" (***)Like waves, the bullets threw themselves forwards. "But there was no Campanella where Campanella had been sitting, only the black shining velvet seat." (****)Her blue thin bullets appeared in thin air, formed scorching lines like sunbeams. There her sister leapt, above them all, forming a curtain of golden orbs, like a pack of untamed dogs out to hurt. "Allegretto [La Campanella]".The suns swayed, rolled and dashed, forming circles and pentagons. On her hands, the trumpet slept. She remembered them all- their lights together, their joy together, and their time together. If her music could arouse a time past, then there was... There is... "What, after all, is Campanella's wish?"‘Aah ah… where have I heard this before…?’ Eyes closing into darkness, the witch listened to the song of the piano and of the bullets, of the rustling leaves and of the silence. ‘Such a beautiful song.’ It sang of happiness, of the moon and warm nights, of the tender breeze lazily puffing in the blossoming spring trees. It sang of passion and, above all, of a light, so warm and gentle it would make envious the sun. Such a delicate melody, heartfelt, coming from the depths of that heart that had existed and maybe still did. Sight still shrouded in black, her arm stretched to the side calling for her broom to become, once more, an extension of herself. The bamboo object twirled from its resting place to its owner’s hand, almost as if encompassing the music. Those feelings, so passionately conveyed into black and white keys, so sincere… It angered her. Golden orbs, finally peering through the veil of darkness they had voluntarily cast upon themselves, were stark in contrast with the gentleness of the initial notes, cold and unwavering they stood, refusing to be swayed by the warmth of the piano. ‘If you can sing so honestly about your light…’ Icy. She felt icy. Not her body. Her heart, it was ice cold. ‘How dare you to try snuffing mine away?!’ With no fear, no restraints, no thoughts and no plans, both broom and witch whizzed through the bullets, their recklessness akin to a storm. Like thunder they moved carelessly onto their enemies, intemperance their only master. The heartfelt sunbeams danced like bees in a waltz, flying fiercely but elegantly towards their target. But she cared for no stings or burns. Allegretto! Allegretto! The bullets were rocks as they hit her, beams like sunlight burning through her coat and skin, and yet the speed held the witch in place. Oh, unseeing abandon, this isn’t not enough! Fangs bared and yellow eyes working in a fury, following the intense brightness of the golden orbs rapidly approaching. Allegro! Allegro! The broom swerved and veered in an S, gaining speed, the pulse of the zipping sun miniatures making it quake with instability, their impossible temperature biting the magician’s face like angry hounds. Hand out-stretched with a card between its fingers, eye closed in a wince, voice tempestuous. “Black Magic [Event Horizon]!!” An unlike its name, a myriad of colorful magical circles materialized themselves around the caster, each of them spouting colorful, bright starts, the sigils quickly converging on the magician as if hugging her, only to grow apart in a petal pattern, turning the sky into a vibrant flower. The starts flung themselves against their targets, an impenetrable mantle crashing down on their enemies from all sides, a nonsensical pattern from someone who was giving her command to anger. How colorful, the sky that shattered into countless pieces, rained down atop their heads, as if a galactic meteor had finally reached out to their nights of prayers. Golden bullets crashing to the ground, tearing new caskets for the old air. Dusts raged up in an army, blocking what was left of her visions that were already far too easily clouded in colors. Slash, slash, stab, thrush, arrows of colored fury aimed at them, like a-- Her mind went blank. "Wha, dodge!" Red overlapped with her sight, dark red vermillion, like the sleeves of her child sister thrashing in anger as she flapped and flopped and dodged, like a piece of phloem tattered in the wind. Like her blood gushing through her arms, neck, the top of her cheeks, as fake as their lives were. Her sharp darts in the shape of the sounds surrendered before that ridiculous rain filled with violent intentions. They were supposed to buy time, they were, and yet their hourglass were already broken to begin with. "To your left!" The moment she wobbled behind, her child sister dashed on her feet to charge ahead, like flying, like fading, into the barrage of bullets. That child had taken back her place in the lead- the primo had soared back to its stage. In the symphony, the keyboard reclaimed its reign. "Hey, snap out of it! Sister!" The blade-like nails of her child sister plunged into her wrist, pulling her out of the way of a gleaming sun orb. A patch of her hair burnt to a crispy color, she lashed out a thunderous wave, her voice as bullets crashed and clashed and boomed like popcorns was clearer than anything. If the river of blood that dripped from her heads was not a lie, it almost seemed like someone was crying blood. "Sister, I want to live." Their backs glued against each other's, she struggled to recall the image of her child sister facing the enemy herself like this time. "So please, let's start." The hands clasping together like a prayer, behind the arms that waved like a pair of wings. There was an arrogantly sly voice coming from somewhere, shouting at the enemies she no longer had in her eyesight, "Gotta be stronger, good friend!" Under her eyelids, the melody of two lost children flowed through her dear trumpet. Campanella and Giovanni had parted ways at Coalsack. Even Presto agitato was preceeded by Allegreto. Flames lit at home, sapphires gleaming covered in soft sweet lemon chiffon, notes dampered in the smoke, the melody leaping from yesterday to the now, the sight of two little fingers intertwined in a promise-- "Merlin, please help..." "Fantasia [Moonlight Sonata].""...us."

Collab with the perv Fairy
The blonde witch landed near the temple's entrance, her eyes scouted the area until she spotted a certain pink-haired oni. She walked over to her, hands behind her back. "Hey, Ms.Hermit! What are you doing here all by your lonesome self~?" she said, with a smile.
“Avoiding Flan because you insinuated I was going to have to explain her the birds and the bees?” Kasen commented with a chuckle, one hand supporting her chin and the other waving Ellen’s question off, then she opened her eyes. “No, actually, I’m thinking about what our next move should be.” Her back laid itself against one of the pillars supporting the Temple and crossed her arms, her brows furrowing. “You know, that satori girl? She can materialize people’s unconsciousness, and when she did that for that winged girl and her sister… the Goddess of Makai popped up.”
Ellen shrugged. "Hey, don't blame me. She should know about it already." her eyes fixated on Kasen as she talked. "You mean that silverish-haired girl? She was still unconscious when I woke up." she crossed her arms. "So basically, you think that those two bastards have some sort of relation with the Goddess of Makai." she said, putting emphasis on her insult. "Sooo you plan to go to Makai to talk with that goddess and see if you can find out something more about those two, am I right?"
“That’s the plan.” The hermit tossed a ring up. “She gave us the means to get there so it won’t be hard to question her.” Her brows arched as she remembered. “She’s Alice’s mother, actually, you know, the doll maker?” A hand scratched the back of her head and she frowned. “I’m feeling bad, we’re returning there with no news about her.”
"Ah, but you are going there with some news about that puppeteer girl~!" Ellen said, with a big smile. "Remember that thing we found in Marisa's house~?"
“Gah! Not that again! No, no, that’s forbidden!” Kasen nodded negatively as she crossed her arms in an X in front of her. “It’s in bad taste to tell her something that private! We shouldn’t even be talking about that in the first place!” The hermit finalized with a serious and determined expression. She had to uphold morals, after all, if no one did it, someone had to. But after some moments of silence, the pink-hair spoke in a whisper. “What if Alice rejected her quicker than a bake says ‘boo’? Lady Shinki would be disappointed to know her daughter is still as socially awkward as ever and will probably never be a wife.”
Ellen tilted her head slightly, still smiling. "In that case, then that goddess or Marisa or whoever can simply request my services and I'd solve that problem in an instant~" she let out a small giggle.
Kasen scowled at the witch. “I doubt any of them would do that, isn’t that underhanded? If someone doesn’t love the other person it’s her own free choice.” A sly smirk formed on the oni’s face. “Love should be able to bloom without the interference of outsiders. You should know that better than anyone, right?” She chuckled, a matter of fact tone to her voice, full of certainty. “You have your own crushes, I highly doubt they had any magic involved there. Well…” She shrugged causally, the smirk ever present. “…of the heart swaying kind, at any rate.”
Ellen turned around and shrugged. "You would be surprised if I told you the kind of people that come by at times. Really. Love potions are probably one of the least weird things I have done." she sighed. "I never said I liked doing that kind of stuff, y'know. I joke around about it, but I try to encourage my clients to not rely on me when it comes to getting someone's love. It has yet to work." she fell silent for a second, then turned around rather abruptly to look at Kasen. "And what the hell do you mean by 'my own crushes'?!"
The smirk on Kasen’s face got even bigger. “Oh, you thought the innocent hermit wouldn’t notice?” She pointed at the magician. “Your assistant , for starters." She made a mocking tone on the assistant part, implying that potions wasn't the only thing the poltergeist was assisting Ellen with.
Ellen's face turned slightly red. "H-huh?! You talking about Kana?!" she shook her head. "Not a chance! She's just my friend! Heck, for that matter, she's a freaking poltergeist!" she grunted.
Kasen just stared at Ellen with the smug smirk still there, her eyes saying ‘You’re a terrible liar’. “Uh-uh, right~ C’mon, admit it.”
A heart-shaped arrow shot from Ellen's palm, getting stuck on the very same column Kasen was leaning against. "Shut up! Don't act like you know what goes on between Kana and me!"
Meanwhile, slightly far away from the two, Flandre landed and stared at both Kasen and Ellen, confused.
“You asked me what was up with my horns before.” The hermit tapped on her intact horn and smiled, completely unaffected by Ellen’s outburst. “I’m an oni. That’s the simple truth that I tried to deny.” She rested her chin on her hand. “I say things as I see them. It’s true that you’re friends, it’s also true that I don’t know what goes between you two, but it’s clear that what you have is more than just friendship.”
Ellen lowered her head and grumbled slightly.
Flandre edged closer to the pair. "Uh... Is there something wrong...?" she asked, looking somewhat worried.
“No, there isn’t.” Kasen chuckled, her bandage hand petting Ellen’s head. She smiled, looking at the witch. “Hey.” She waited as the blonde begrudgingly looked at her with an annoyed look on her face and the hugged her warmly, her voice soft but serious. “This aside… What I really wanted to say was: Thank you for saving me.” The oni closed her eyes. “But please don’t ever put your life in line because of me...” ‘I’m the one who’s supposed to protect you.’ “I’m an oni, I can take the beating.” ‘Me as an oni and you as a human.’
Ellen raised her head slightly to look at Kasen. "I'm the one who should thank you. I would've died back there if you hadn't brought me here..." she returned the hug. "Oh, and I'd do that again if need be. ... I just need to find a way to strengthen my barriers." she said with a giggle. "I'm not going to let you suicide against someone, whether you're an oni or not." she broke the hug and headed over to Flan, her childish smile returning to her face. "So, Flan~! We're going to Makai! Have I ever told you about how those Succubus demons get their energy from their victims~?" the young vampire simply titled her head to a side, even more confused than before.
“I don’t plan to die.” Kasen said, only audible to her, looking at the other two, smiling warmly. “Gotta make sure I’m around to keep ya two safe.” She stood up chuckled lightly and then put her serious face, pointing at Ellen. “Hey! Don’t teach her weird things!”

LET THE SHIPPING COMMENCE!!
“Fuck, it’s so boring now...” Seija sighed as she continued to pull grass, by the time she had stopped her eternal torture of grass, there was a giant dirt circle where she had pulled from. “Y’know what’s borin’? Listenin’ to yer complains all this time!” Murasa grumbled, annoyed. “I swear, if I wasn’t already dead, I’d have shot myself in the head!” She squinted her eyes, analyzing if the house in front of her was done. “Oooh~ I heard if ya do that, some spirit comes out and fights for ya!” She chuckled as she slowly stood up, brushing dirt off her legs and smiled at Murasa. “But then again, maybe you’re the spirt who fights for someone, like me!” “Oh, definitely!” The sailor turned around to Seija with a smile. “I can’t wait to throw my undead life in front of ya in order to protect and serve you!” Her eyes went half-lidded as she rolled then. “Pffft.” She waved the amanojaku’s remark off as she continued to another house to check the damages. “If anythin’ else, the poor rubes that get close to ya are the ones who need protectin’.” “Like you?” Seija came up behind her, she was still smiling as she lifted up a hand, and attempted to put said hand onto her right shoulder. “Oh, you are truly my knight shining armour!” The sailor rolled her eyes again and then looked at Seija’s hand and then at her eyes. “Why are ya still here?” There was no anger or annoyance in her voice this time, it was a genuine question. “The hermit and her merry group of friends have already left, but ya’re still here.” She crossed her arms, eyes still locked with the amanojaku’s. “Ya have nowhere else to go?” She looked down at the floor suddenly as she sighed. “Yep, I’m what you call a hobo, kicked out of my castle and on the run, maybe I’ll go back to Satori or something...” She then looked at Murasa, hope filled in her eyes. “And what about you? What are you gonna do when this all ends?” “The same ol’thin’ as always, I guess.” Murasa’s eyes clouded a bit as memories coursed through her mind. “I have no plans, I have no personal goals. I was just a hate filled creature when Hijiri found me, causin’ people to suffer… that was the only thought in my mind.” A sigh she didn’t know she was holding escaped her lips. “I’m happy where I am now, I like serving Hijiri, she deserves to have loyal friends’round her.” A smile crept on her lips. “She was the only one foolish enough to give a lowlife like me a chance she didn’t deserve.” “I guess we were on the same boat, I bet you think of me the same people once thought of you right? We were once the same...” She took a step back, her smile has dissolved into a straight and emotionless face. Murasa merely laughed, a creepy smirk forming on her face. “Ya say some funny thin’s. Nay, ya wrong.” There was an odd shadow covering her emerald eyes as if they were the depths of the ocean itself, dim and murky. Something about her aura felt off for a moment and she chuckled, a pleased, amused tone taking the place of the serious one she had used up until then. “I was much worse.” Her slack hand twitched slightly as if, for a moment, she wanted to clench it and her eyes looked at the ground, her smirk disappearing completely as well as her tone, she clamped her jaw, apparently collecting herself. “No, we ain’t the same.” She looked at Seija’s eyes, the murkiness in her orbs gone. “I can’t be redeemed of my actions.” Seija titled her neck and looked at Murasa, she just began to tap her foot suddenly. “You were worse? What did you do then? Why are you unredeemable then?” She glared her, her red eyes glared deeply into Murasa’s eyes. Murasa frowned, suddenly reminded that those were memories she didn’t want to relive. “That’s all ya need to know. I dun feel like talkin’ about it.” She turned around, starting to walk away, at the same time running from the things she didn’t want to admit she had done. “It’s gettin’ dark, we should head back.” “Well, where the fuck are you gonna go? Wherever you go, I’m going to follow you... as a friend of course!” “Of course y’are, I dun wanna see ya wander’bout the Village to destroy what we’ve rebuilt.” The captain walked towards the Temple. “And we’re gonna head back to the Temple, of course, where else?” “I have no idea...” She followed closely behind Murasa, she was attempting to walk besides her. “We should stop our stupid bullshit arguments and at least find some common ground right?” “Aight, then, you stop doin’ dumb stuff that I’ll stop complainin’ about the dumb stuff ya do.” The sailor deadpanned. “That’s our middle ground.” “Right, I can surely stop my dumb stuff, just keep me far, far away from Utsuho...” “Yeah, because now it’s not yer fault, it’s the birdbrain’s.” The sailor glared at the other girl. “Do you want me to say it’s my fault... I can admit my faults, I did that earlier! Let’s drop this subject!” She threw up her hands as she sharply spoke at Murasa, now speeding up her power walk, attempting to get a head of the sailor. “Yeah, yeah.” The sailor smacked the back of Seija’s head as she passed by her. “This time’round, if ya cause problems to Hijiri, I will tie ya sorry ass to my anchor and throw it to the Sanzu!” She added with a menacing voice. There was a quiet slap as she tilted her head back as she glared at her, but she smiled still at her “Just killing me won’t get rid of Yui!” “Yui doesn’t exist to begin with.” Murasa dead-panned. “And neither does Murasa, what’s to say we just exist in some’s child mind?” She glared at Murasa, annoyed at her dead panning. “What I mean is, ya can’t simply become someone else just by changing yer name. That’s dumb. Changin’ requires work and effort, it ain’t that easy.” The sailor glared at the amanojaku. “And ya haven’t changed all that much from what I’ve seen, so there’s that.” “I’ll... Prove you wrong... It’s not like you’ve changed a bit in your life time...” Seija muttered. “Ya dun know me. Ya only realized who I was after ya came here, so I don’t think your opinion on how I have changed or not matters much.” Murasa stated in a matter of fact way. “..Let’s just get to the temple, I’m sure we could have a debate in private...” She continued to rush, not looking at Murasa as she power walked to the temple. “Talk in private, she says. There’s no one’round here…” Murasa sighed, walking to the Temple.

Blahblahblah, collab with Fairy, blah.
Kasen looked around the place again. Makai.
The town further away, bustling with activity as it had happened in the first time she and Flan were there. She frowned, wondering if they’d get in any trouble this time around as well.
Ellen looked at the nearby town and rubbed her chin. "Soo... Do you guys know where that goddess lives? Or do you want me to go to that town and ask around?"
Flandre gulped slightly. "Uuuh... Please don't. I already tried to ask there and it only got us in trouble." she looked around. 'It doesn't seem like that vampire from last time is around... Thankfully.'
The hermit’s eyes looked around as she located herself. “I know the way there.” She started floating. “Unless you want to go sight-seeing.” She looked at Ellen.
Ellen scouted around. "Well, the least we need is some random demon going mad at us." she stopped to look at some nearby ruins, a smile forming on her face. "However~... Makai is pretty much any magician's paradise, so can we at least take a look in those ruins and see if we find something interesting, pleaseeee~?" her voice was filled with enthusiasm.
“Sure.” Kasen chuckled, maybe we’ll find something interesting there. The hermit couldn’t hide her curiosity either, she wasn’t a magician, but she was a firm believer that knowledge was power. “Hm… Though… I wonder if I could find something to eat too…”
The blonde witch shrugged. "I doubt you're going to find much to eat in some ruins. Besides, if you eat too much you're gonna get fat, y'know~." she chuckled before flying over to the ruins as fast as she could.
“Hey, I don’t eat a lot. Besides, oni have a great metabolism.” Kasen replied, as she followed Ellen, suddenly a bit self-conscious about her eating habits, landing after her and looking at the ruins.
The young vampire was the last one to land outside of the ruins. Meanwhile, Ellen was already inside them, inspecting some small ice shards that were lying on the floor, a serious look on her face. The temperature inside the ruins was pretty low compared to the outside, and further inside, most of the floor was completely covered in ice, with a human-sized ice pillar blocking a cavern-like passage that probably led further into the ruins.
Flandre sighed and went over to the ice pillar, hovering slightly so as to not slip and fall to the floor. Once she got near enough to see the pillar more clearly, her eyes widened. "Uhm... Kasen, Ellen? Can you come and take a look at this?"
The blonde witch stood up and went over to the pillar. "What, did you find something inter-- ... oh my." she said. There was a demon encased inside the pillar, completely unmoving, with its eyes open. "Well... I guess this guy won't have to worry much when summer comes by, don't you think...?"
Walking inside with her eyes inspecting her surroundings, Kasen focused on the demon. She hummed. “Hmm…” Her bandaged hand casually knocked on the ice pillar, the knock echoing lowly through the ruins. “I think we’re going get into trouble if we stay here.” Unlike the first time they had been there, her voice didn’t have a hint of concerned in it. “Not that I’m worried.” She added to emphasize her point, a small smile forming on her lips as she continued to stare at the demon, waving her hand in front of its frozen open eyes to see if they moved.
There wasn't any response from the demon. Ellen looked at Kasen. "You're taking this way too casually, aren't you?" the blonde witch turned away from the pillar, only to see that there was a blue-haired girl with small angel wings standing right in front of the entrance to the ruins. The girl gave Ellen a cold stare before stepping forward a bit.
Kasen stepped forward in front of the other two. “Greetings.” She bowed slightly. “My apologies for barging in, we didn’t know this place belonged to anyone.”
The girl chuckled and crossed her arms. "I'm not the owner of this place. I just came over here because I heard from Sara that someone from Gensokyo had trespassed the barrier and I was curious. Luckily enough, it seems I found just who I was searching for." she lowered her arms and began drawing a magic circle in the air. "You have 5 seconds to spit out why are you here or you're going to end up just like the demon you were staring at."
Kasen looked to the two behind her, then back at the blue haired girl in front of her. “We’re three.” She stated in a matter of fact way. “You’re one. Gutsy, but not very smart.” She crossed her arms. “And we aren’t trespassing anything.” She smiled pleasantly, though there was a somewhat menacing aura around her. “Which I would gladly explain…” A smirk formed on her expression. “If you ask nicely.”
The girl materialized an ice claymore on her hand. "Fine then. Explain why you three are here, woman." she paused for a second. "Please."
Kasen’s feature unhardened and turned back to usual, she showed the girl the ring Shinki had given them. “We’re here to talk with Lady Shinki, she gave us this ring the first time we came here.” She put the ring back in her clothes. “We had some problems with people that are connected with Makai.” Her eyes feel on Mai’s wings, narrowing slightly, reminded of the girl she had fought. “One of them has wings similar to yours.” She looked back at her. “We want to know exactly who they are, that’s all.”
"Wings like mine, you say?" The girl closed her eyes and chuckled a little. "You Gensokyians are in big trouble, aren't you? Oh well, that's what you deserve." she turned around. "If you want to go and meet Lady Shinki, you should head for Pandemonium, not go sightseeing."
There was a loud noise as something stony broke on impact near the winged girl, as she turned behind, Kasen hand was buried on one of the ruin’s pillars, she snarled at her, eyes vividly gleaming orange. “What we, Gensokyians, deserve?” She removed her unscathed hand from the destroyed column. “Are you sayin’ that because ya were unable to handle a bunch of lil’ girls?” Slowly, the oni started creeping closer to her. “Because ya decided that sendin’ demons floodin’ Gensokyo would bring no troubles whatsoever to its balance?” She starred down at the girl, articulating every word slowly. “Ya reap what ya sow.” Her gaze was as cold as the frozen demon behind them. “The people that got killed, they were all innocent, and they died because ya couldn’t keep yer own mistakes contained.”
The angel winged girl turned around and pointed her claymore towards Kasen's neck. "For your information, woman, you Gensokyians invaded Makai. Twice, might I add. And the very first time you caused way more innocent deaths than you're probably suffering right now, to the point where Lady Shinki was about to burn down Makai because of you lot." she lowered her claymore. "Of course, it's hard to consider genocide a game when you're the one suffering from it, is it?" she chuckled and turned away from Kasen. "I have nothing more to say to you."
“Genocide isn’t a game!” Kasen barked. “If it was an enjoyable hobby, I would’ve broken yer lil’ flimsy, magician neck like a twig by now!” Her gaze never left the girl. “You let your demons waltz around Gensokyo, you brake Gensokyo’s balance.” She spat. “Genocide, ya say? Who did we kill? Thousands of innocents? Or is that a lie ya tell yerselves to justify your hate? To justify that yer people panicked, rioted and started fighting one another? Why is it that Lady Shinki doesn’t hold a grudge? Why is it that her daughter is a Gensokyian just like me if all of us are heartless psychos?!” She smirked with disgust. “And now, ya laugh at Gensokyo’s suffering, amused that people who were banished from yer own land for how sicko they were are doing as they please, just because ya try so hopelessly to run away from yer own failures.”
Kasen approached her, towering over her. “Ya say you have nothing else to tell us and yet here ya still stand.” Her cold voice dropped down a degree. “If ya truly harbor that much hate for Gensokyo, then here’s yer opportunity.” She stretched her hands to her sides. “Gimme yer best shot.”
"Kasen!" Flandre yelled at the hermit. "That's enough already, we didn't come here to start a fight!"
The blue-haired magician stood silent for a second before slightly turning her head towards Kasen. "Fighting you would be a waste of your time. If you want to get rid of that bastard, then you'd best hurry to talk with Lady Shinki." she walked towards the ruins' exit. "And one more thing. If you see her daughter, do me and the rest of Makai a favour and tell her that she is not welcome here, regardless of what Lady Shinki says." with those last words, the girl took off to the sky and left the area.
Kasen crossed her arms, her anger seemingly disappearing into nothingness. With a sigh she arched one brow and muttered under her breath as she saw the other one fly away. “How hard was it to be at least a bit honest?”
Flandre bonked Kasen's head. "You really need to control yourself, you know that? How am I supposed to learn how to control my ability if my teacher can't control herself?!" she sighed. "Jeez..."
Ellen let out a small giggle. "Now, now. Let's just forget about this and head over to that Shinki woman's place." she looked over to the frozen demon. "It's not like we would be able to investigate further into the ruins, with that guy standing in the way. ... I wonder if that girl was the one who did that to him?" she shrugged. "Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter."
“I was in control.” Kasen looked at Flandre, still with her arms crossed, her brows arched. “That girl…” She looked at the exit. “A lot of what she said was a lie and she knew it was. She was trying to convince herself of it.” Kasen could tell, she herself had done the exact same thing, she knew how people who tried to run and hide from their failures and mistakes looked like. “She wouldn’t have listened to my words if I was polite, not when you’re that angry inside.” She started pacing to the exit. “Did you notice what she said?” She looked at Flan over her shoulder. “She said she was happy that we were getting attacked by someone from Makai…” She continued walking. “But did you noticed what she just said? ‘If you want to get rid of that bastard you better hurry’.” The hermit stopped at the exit. “Would you call the person attacking your enemies a bastard if you were truly glad that was happening?” She turned back at the other two, a victorious smirk on her face. “That was lesson one on how to read people, girls. I hope you took notes.” And she continued outside.
Flandre nodded with enthusiasm before following Kasen.
Ellen stood there for a few seconds, scratching her chin. 'To be honest, to me it did seem like she really got mad...' she shrugged before going after the two.

Collab with Dani. And stuff.
Featuring the only time when Star and Luna will be useful in the entire RP.
The two light fairies landed in front of the shrine's door. "Do you think she'll be home?" the moonlight fairy asked. "Probably. I mean, what are the chances that she actually went and tried to solve the incident without anyone prodding her?" Star began to knock on the door. "Heeey! Red-white! We need to talk to you! It's very important!" she waited for an answer, but there was none. "... We have a really big donation to make, you know!" still no answer. Star turned to face her companion. "You're not muting my voice, are you?" Luna shook her head, before talking. "Well, I guess we should take all this money and bring it to that other shrine with the green-haired girl! I'm sure they would be willing to accept it!" she turned around and started to walk away from the shrine. Star soon followed her. "This'll probably work, if what the other fairies said is true. She can't stand watching people go to that other shrine, according to them." Reimu tiredly climbed the stairs to her shrine. She had been working nonstop for some days and had been driven out of the Village by Byakuren who insisted she was causing more trouble than helping in her sleep deprived state. Reaching the top, she saw the two fairies walking around near the shrine and frowned. “Hey, what are you two doing here?” Her voice went dangerously low. “If you’re preparing another one of your stupid pranks, I’ll throw you into the Sanzu myself.” Both fairies let out a small scream once they noticed Reimu. Luna was the first one to speak in a hurried tone. "Oh, you weren't inside the shrine? Well that probably means you didn't hear anything we said which is great and all. Anyway, we were just passing by so we'll be taking our--" her mouth was covered by Star's hand, interrupting her. "Luckily for you, red-white, this time we don't have any pranks to make, not that I'd want to make any without Sunny around. We came here because we something veeeeery important to tell you, you see~." Star pulled off an innocent smile while looking at the shrine maiden. The shrine maiden scratched her head annoyed. “Yes, yes, I’m sure you do.” Then she glared at Star. “If it’s really that important then start talking because I’m in no mode for fairy nonsense.” She crossed her arms, still glaring at the fairy, waiting for her to spill it out. "Uh... Y-y-yeah..." Star sweated a little upon seeing Reimu glaring at her. "Anyway, so we found out this thing about the incident..." Star slowly began to explain everything Dai had told her through... telepathy? She wasn't really sure how to call it, but it's not like that was actually important. The shrine maiden had remained quiet through all the conversation, her face turning serious once she head a mention of the dream world and then it clicked in her mind. “That winged psycho…” Her eyes went hide. “I remember now, I faced her in the Dream World!” She gritted her teeth, regretting having listened to Yuyuko a let the creature roam free once again. “Argh!” She ruffled her hair nervously. “Where on earth is that dumb Marisa when I need her?!” Her eyes turned to the fairies again. “Can you still communicate with Daiyousei?” Star rubbed her chin. "I dunno. I haven't heard her since the conversation ended, but then again I haven't asked either..." she raised her head and talked to the air, like if doing that would somehow make the green-haired fairy hear her words better. "Hey! Dai! Can you hear me?" Inside her own mind Star could hear a few, quiet, distorted words. The voice shut up for a while before speaking once more, this time much clearer. "I'm here. Although I don't know for how much longer me or my friend can keep this going. What is it?" Dai's voice asked. The starlight fairy looked at Reimu. "Apparently I can still talk to her, want me to ask her something?" “Did she see anyone with angel wings there?” Reimu questioned, as she crossed her arms once again, thinking. “Or anyone blonde with a maid outfit.” Star passed over the question to the green-haired sprite, by screaming the question to the air. "I don't think I saw anyone like that here. The person who threw me into the cell was cloaked, so..." The starlight fairy looked back at the shrine maiden and shook her head. Putting a hand on her chin, the miko thought for a while. “Marisa probably knows something already…” She said, more to herself than her fairy companions. Her eyes stared at them once again. “Have you seen her around?” This time, Luna was the one to answer. "Not at all. The last time we were aware of the black-white's whereabouts, it was when we asked Dai and Cirno to go after you both because we thought that you were the ones who put Sunny in a coma." she sighed "That was weeks ago, though." “Why would we even…” Reimu frowned. “You’re always hanging around Marisa, how come that now that I want to know where she is, you’re useless?” She sighed in defeat and looked in the direction of the Lake of Blood and then she narrowed her eyes, never removing them from the place, and then in a cold voice. “Who betrayed Daiyousei?” It was a blank voice, devoid of any emotions, as if anticipating the answer. The black-haired fairy passed over the question once more, but her answer were quiet, distorted words that eventually became clear once more. "It was a woman with green hair, red eyes... I think her name was... Yuuka Kazami?" Star looked at the shrine maiden and gave her Dai's answer. “Yuuka…” Reimu repeated. Her eyes closed for a bit as if she was considering her options. She turned on her heels and started walking towards the temple. “I’ll investigate this. Thanks for warning me.” The starlight fairy waved at the shrine maiden. "Glad to help! We'll take care of the shrine while you're away!" Luna looked at her friend. "... What are you thinking, Star?" she only received a small giggle as an answer. "Star. I'm gonna be cutting off the connection. Thanks for lending me a hand, and I'll try to contact you again should something come up... Once again, thanks." and with that, the sprite's voice suddenly vanished from Star's mind. "Stay out of my shrine!" Came Reimu's half-hearted and tired yell as she slammed the sliding door of her shrine.

Collab with Fairy. (Shocking.)
Pandemonium was still as deserted as the first time, Kasen landed there and walked a bit, her footsteps and her companions reverberating on the empty halls.
“How much time before you think someone wil---“ The hermit started when
“You two again?” A blonde maid stepped out of the shadows and looked at them, eyes stopping at Ellen. She turned her head at Kasen. “You know, this isn’t a tourist attraction…” She continued, honestly trying to make the pink haired oni understand.
“Ah, I know, my apologies but---“
“Ah, we have tourists? That’s lovely! Yumeko, please prepare them tea!” An excited voice chimed in as footsteps approached them.
The maid contained her urge to face palm.
The silver haired woman that was familiar to Kasen and Flandre exited a room nearby.
“Ah, Miss Kasen, Miss Flandre!” She greeted them with a welcoming smile. “It’s nice to see you again.” Her eyes looked at Kasen’s horns. “As your true selves, even.” It was as if she had known all along, but before Kasen could ask how. “And who might your friend be?” She questioned, looking agreeably at Ellen.
The young vampire bowed. "Good day, Miss Shinki."
When the goddess' eyes looked at Ellen, she pointed towards herself. "Huh? Me?" she made a big smile. "I'm Fluffy Ellen, Gensokyo's personal love witch~." Sokrates, who had been sitting on Ellen's shoulder the entire time, meowed. "And the little guy here is Sokrates. Anyway, I suppose you're the one who gave Kasen and Flan this?" with a movement of her hand, the grimoire that Kasen and Flan got from their first visit to Makai appeared. "If so, mind if I visit your library at some point~? I'm sure there're more grimoires as exciting as this one." she made the book disappear.
Kasen lightly bonked Ellen’s head. “Hey, stop imposing to people… Control yourself, honestly…”
“Oh, nice meeting you, Fluffy Ellen! You have a cute name.” She said with a smile. “And of course, I could let you read some of my books. You magicians should get all the---“
“Please stop inviting people you just met to your library full of dangerous books, Lady Shinki.” Yumeko sighed, indicating that Shinki’s careless invitations were a constant. “You’re far too trusting.”
On the background Kasen reviewed what she had heard. “Wait, is your name actually ‘Fluffy’?” There was a mix of confusion and amusement in her voice.
Ellen looked at Kasen, slightly annoyed before sighing. "Nah, it's not. Fluffy Ellen is the name of my shop."
Flandre looked at Shinki, worried. "Uhm... Getting back on track... We had something very important to ask you, Miss Shinki." she looked towards Kasen.
“We found out the culprit… or who we think is behind this.” The hermit’s expression was a serious one. “There were two of them: a maid… hm… or what it sometimes looked to be one, blonde, with short hair and… a winged one, her sister, long hair and---“
“Mugetsu and Gengetsu.” Shinki said, there was a mix of worry and coldness from her voice. “Yes… I know them, I was the one who banished them from here.” The goddess looked down. “If they’re there…” Her eyes met Kasen’s with a question. “Is my Alice alright? Is she safe?”
“I…” Kasen started, she felt bad to visit the woman without a single piece of news about her daughter. “We didn’t find her but…” She asked tentatively. “Are they connected?”
“They hold a grudge towards me, because I banished them to the Dream World. I sealed them there… how could they have escaped…” She put her hand in front of her mouth. “Oh, if they know my Alice is there…”
"If that Alice girl is your daughter, then she should probably be fine. One of them got killed anyway, so the danger is lessened." The blonde witch said. "And besides... I'm sure that wherever she is... She is probably in good hands. " Ellen giggled while glancing at Kasen. "Right, Ms.Hermit~?"
Shinki looked confused at them, then focused on Kasen. “You mean, you’re interested in my Alice?”
“I—what?! No, no! That’s not…” Kasen eyed Ellen through the corner of her eyes. “Now you clear that up and assume the responsibility!”
"There is someone interested in your Alice, though... Even if it is not Kasen. It's a certain witch whose name starts with M... Perhaps you know her~" Ellen giggled. She was having way too much fun with this.
“Just as a heads up, I won’t protect you from either of them.” The hermit dead-panned.
“…Marisa?” Shinki asked as her voice trembled and she nodded negatively.
In her mind where still present, the days the two played together. There was no surprise in that revelation, she knew her Alice, and she knew that deep inside, the glass dome that she had lifted to shield her heart, somehow, had been shattered to pieces by the human girl.
Loyal, caring, but ultimately a wild and reckless being, acting solely guided by the whirlwind of emotions that commandeered her heart, rather than her brain.
Marisa’s eyes gleamed with anger as the monotonous sound of the trumpet attempted to cobble up a failed attempt at a melody. Her hands clasped around her mini-hakkero as she clenched her teeth.
“That girl, she’s… too reckless, they’ll both be in danger… I…”
A goddess, that’s what she was, with the power to create and twist things, to mold worlds and beings and yet, the only thing she truly wished for was to be able to leave and protect that existence that meant everything to her, the tiny, small existence that once she had held in her arms, with the bright, turquoise eyes peering curiously at her.
Ellen's childish smile completely vanished as soon as she saw the goddess's worried expression. 'Ugh... Ellen, you're an idiot...' she looked at the goddess. "If what we found on Marisa's house is of any indication... Then there's a high chance that your daughter and Marisa are together at this point." Ellen sighed. "We were going after Marisa, but then we got involved in some..." Ellen glanced at Flan "Other stuff, and the person who was supposed to take us to her ditched us. And then that winged girl and her sister showed up and everything went to hell." the blonde witch crossed her arms. "We only came here to ask you for information in regards to the two bastards that attacked the village and then we were going to go back to our search. ... I'm going to take this chance to assure you that we're not going to let anything happen to either Marisa or that puppeteer girl." Ellen smiled. "To begin with, I don't wanna lose two future clients, y'know~?" She giggled, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
“We’re going to find them, even if that gap hag doesn’t help us.” Kasen frowned. “There are only a few places they can hide. Despite what Ellen says, we can’t promise you they will be unhurt, but I can promise you we’ll do their best to find and protect them.”
“Lady Alice is strong, Lady Shinki. Even if she is attacked, she will fight back.” Yumeko said reassuringly.
The goddess simply nodded, visibly trying not to get distracted by her worries. “Yes… I…” She closed her eyes and bowed slightly. “My apologies, I let emotions take the best of me.” Having regained most of her composure, she looked at them. “They were both strong, when they were still training here. I’m sure that they’ve grown stronger…” She nodded her head negatively, dispelling her worries once more. “Mugetsu was well versed in illusion magic and dark magic, she started studying under a master of dream magic, her older sister, Gengetsu, she too dabbled in that but I don’t know how much she knew regarding that, her magic was a lot less contained than her sister’s, she relies on firepower more than anything she’s not very subtle. Together, they make a terrifying team.”
“Illusion magic, huh…” Kasen frowned. That explained why the girl had seen through her disguise. “We dealt with Mugetsu, Gengetsu, however…”
“Gengetsu is dangerous. She’s quiet but she’s reckless.” Shinki’s eyes grew sadder, as if she hadn’t wished for this to happen. “If you killed her sister, she will do whatever is in her power to avenge her, even if she perishes in the process.” The silver haired woman nervously entwined her hands, trying to find a way to distract herself from the anxiety haunting her heart. “If she finds out…” She stopped herself from repeating the line she had said before.
Seeing her master struggle with her emotions, the maid decided to step in. “People who don’t control their anger, people who are reckless, they act on impulse and therefore are prone to make serious strategical mistakes.” Her emotionless eyes looked at Ellen and Kasen. “She will certainly try to pay you back from taking her sister away from her, she loved her, after all.” There was a second of silence as the maid pondered, she then continued. “Where did you fight them? Which were the areas more affected by their attacks?”
Ellen crossed her arms. "Well... I took a direct hit from one of Gengetsu's attacks, so I was unconscious for most of the later part of the battle and I don't know first-hand what happened after that. The fight took place on the Human Village back in Gensokyo, though. What about it?"
“Oh, I see, then that explains why you are looking so pale.” There was no change in the maid’s expression. “Miss Ellen, I think you should come with me a rest for a little while. I’ll prepare you a cup of tea.”
Kasen gave Ellen a confused, questioning look.
“Lady Shinki, I know it’s unbecoming of a maid to ask such a thing from her master, but could you please entertain Miss Ibaraki and Miss Flandre? Our guests’ health is our priority, after all.”
For a second, the silver haired goddess looked confused at Yumeko and Ellen and nodded. “Yes, yes, of course…”
Ellen looked confused at Yumeko before shrugging. "Sure, I guess...?" She turned around to face Kasen and Flan. "Don't go anywhere without me!" she said, before following Yumeko.

FORBIDDEN LOVE GO! Murasa followed Seija, not making much of an effort to keep up with her as the amanojaku furiously walked into the empty altar room as if she already knew the house. ‘Makin’ yerself a lil’ too much at home, huh?’ The ghost questioned the other in her mind, her brow twitching slightly at how shameless Seija could get. Calmly, as if not to make too much of a ruckus, the sailor slid the door close and turned at the annoyed black head, who was now impatiently tapping her foot. Murasa crossed her arms, arching one of her brows. “Whaddya want to talk about anyways?” “I think you should know Miss Murasa.” The amanojaku smirked Murasa and she conjured a white arrow and span it around in her hand, almost acting like a self-made compass. “We should talk about our next steps, are we gonna get involved in any more fighting?” “Haa… weren’t ya, like, angry about me tellin’ you to stop pretending someone ya’re not just a minute ago?” She frowned. “Tryin’ to keep up with ya is hopeless, ain’t it?” She sighed. “’nyways, I think it’s more than likely we get into another fight, we need to get rid of those bastards.” “My mind is like hell, it’d take more than a ghost to understand it.” She brushed off Murasa’s words, she was still smirking at her, in a taunting way. “Yeah, apparently.” The ghost dead panned. “What exactly do ya want? I mean, why do ya keep annoyin’ me in specific?” She made a wave with her arm indicating another part of the temple. “Ichirin or Nue are just as annoyable, do them next.” “Maybe I’ll gather all of you Myourens folk around the campfire and I can annoy the shit outta them too...” The sailor could feel her temperament seething as she saw the amanojaku actually pondering that. “Oi.. Ya wanna get kicked outta here too?” “My my, aren’t we getting steam, wouldn’t it better to contain your anger like me? It’s much better, and less chance of me eating one of your world famous anchors.” A twitching hand slid down the captain’s face as she clenched her jaw and spoke between clamped teeth. “Is there… a purpose to this dumb conversation?” “There is a purpose, but first....” She stopped smiling and it slowly morphed into a serious face, her teeth grinded against each other. “You need to lower your anger, I haven’t done anything wrong yet...” “Ya’ve done plenty wrong ‘till now.” Murasa stated, frowning. “And ya’re wastin’ my time! I have more stuff to do than to listen to yer crazy ramblin’s about nothin’ at all!” “...Fine, what do you want to talk about since clearly, I am not worth listening to...” She frowned back at her, a frowning contest between the two “And clearly, the Ripper is a priority right?” Murasa threw her arms forward in frustration. “Ya are the one who said ya wanted ta talk!! I thought ya wanted ta talk about somethin’ serious!” If she had eaten the sun god instead of Okuu, she was sure she would be burning down the tatami under her this instant. “I wouldn’t mind listenin’ to ya if ya want to talk about whatever problems ya have! But I ain’t gonna waste my time jokin’ around about stuff, cuz I ain’t in a mood to freakin’ joke!” “...And I got what I wanted...” With that, she did the same but then began to walk withdraw from Murasa’s anger and wrath, walking to the side of her, and walking outside of the temple. “Oh, no, no!” The captain grabbed the back of Seija’s shirt, stopping her from moving away further. “Ya ain’t gonna guilt trip me about screamin’ at ya!” “You didn’t even guilt trip me, you know, this is a regular thing with us, we were meant for each other!” “’Meant for each other’? The hell are ya talkin’ about…” The sailor’s voice trailed off as the implications downed on her and she immediately let go of Seija, her jaw semi-slack, her expression a comical mix of confusion, awkwardness and whatever expression people do when they’re about to have a heart attack. For the first time in ages, it seemed that ghost was frozen to the ground. “Oh, look at that, I broke you... Sorry!” She chuckled at Murasa’s expression. “Instead of being a guardian, you should become a clown!” There was no warning or time to react, out of the blue, one ghostly hand got a hold on Seija’s head and promptly swung it hard against one of the temple’s pillars. The amanojaku’s head connected to it painfully enough to draw blood and let her seeing stars. There were no words exchanged or sounds other than rushed, furious footsteps making their way out of there. Having collided with the pillar with such force she collapsed to the floor seconds later, bleeding from the point of impact, but she smiled as she laid there knocked out.

Annnnnnd we're back! Another epic collab between Dankiri and I, let's go!
Darkness, as far as the eye could see. There was nothing, nothing that could be seen, nothing that could be heard, nothing that could be felt. Her feet soundlessly walked on nothing. Who could’ve thought that nothing could be something solid? And the doors, several of them started getting dim lighted by invisible torches in a room. The girl winced slightly at the brightness but didn’t stop moving. She looked at the doors: they were all different in shape, size and material and yet they held a common denominator – they were chained, locked away by hole less locks. But the girl continued, in her heart she was sure they would be a way out of that place, so she was calm. There is no place from where she couldn’t escape from. She had escaped the Undergr--- As soon as that meaningless thought she had summoned for comfort passed through her mind, the chains of the door to her right flew across the empty hall, hitting a non-existing wall hard, the crumbling of rocks ringing in her ears despite the fact there was no wall and there were no rocks. Hesitantly, she cocked her head to the chainless door. That was it, that was her exit. It had to be. Tiny hands rotated the handle and the door opened effortlessly, almost invitingly, even, and the girl walked inside to a pleasantly lit room, the sweet aroma of dark tea dancing in her nostrils. With her head downcast and with her hands entwined together in thought, a familiar pink haired girl seemed to be waiting for the company that would occupy the only free chair on the room, directly across her. Koishi knew the girl. She knew her better than she had known anymore else. “Big sister…” Came her hesitant voice and the other one raised her eyes to her, as if only acknowledging her presence now. “Koishi!” The other responded with cheer. Cheer, joy… and yet… why did it seem off? So she approached her and sat on her seat, looking directly to her sister’s eyes. “Koishi, where have you been?” A smile was painted on her features. Yes, painted. There was… something missing… “I have been worried, sick!” Something… weird… “Big sis, I’m sorry… I know that I shouldn’t have…” Koishi frowned, looking down, guilt overtaking her heart. “Hush, now, it’s alright!” Her sister’s voice sounded closer now, so she raised her eyes. The pink haired satori was now inches from her, hands supported on the table and she met Koishi’s gaze. “You don’t need to be afraid anymore!” And yet, that was all the girl felt when looking at her sister’s eyes. Empty, devoid of anything, as dark as the hall she had ventured. She couldn’t utter a word. She could feel her body tremble and freezing in place. “Look!” And on her hand was a yellow eye. A closed yellow eye. An eye that dripped red from a gash across it. A yelp escaped Koishi’s lips. “We’re the same now!” She could feel herself retracting from that thing, that thing that wasn’t her sister. “We can be together now!” No… no… Satori approached her even more, the painted, emotionless smile still on her face as if carved. “You needen’t run away any longer!” Fear clawed at her soul. That wasn’t her sister, that couldn’t be her sister. Why had she done that? Why did she… No, please… someone… Okuu, Orin! Please! “AAAAAH!” And she sat up, her non covered eye opened in a flash, her surroundings blurry but clearly brighter. A searing pain on her head made her wince and she was starting to get aware of the cold sweat trailing down her skin and of the sounds of people talking. "Mmm...Koishi-sama..." The young satori then turned her gaze to a familiar face, though the hell raven was sound asleep with her head on Koishi's lap. As her body moved up and down as she slept, she then moved over so Koishi could look down at her face. Her face was wet, the obvious residue of tears still evident. Despite how much it seemed she cried, she still slept quite peacefully. "Please be alright...I need you...Satori-sama needs you...Orin needs you...we all need you...don't go..." “Okuu…” Her voice cracked. She felt her lips trembling and her eye getting teary as she looked at the hell raven. Quickly, she rubbed her tears with her hand and then she realized, as she looked at the liquid on her palm, that she was crying. And she had cried before. She wondered if that had been because of the mask she had found. Did hope involve crying? Slowly and gently, she petted Okuu’s head, a smile on her face. The black haired girl had always been like this. Caring, loyal, kind… Koishi was lucky, she was so very lucky… Yawning, Utsuho opened her eyes slowly and looked up to see Koishi looking down at her with a tearful smile. "A-Ahh...K-Koishi-sama? Y-You're awake!" she breathed, quickly moving to embrace the young satori, but as gently as possible. The girl chuckled quietly, trying to keep her voice even. “Yeah… why are you still, here, you silly?” She hugged back, as if she was clinging to raven for dear life. “Okuu…” Her voice trembled despite herself. “… why did you stay…?” "Hmm?" Utsuho cocked her head, rubbing Koishi's back in order to try and calm her down. "Why wouldn't I stay with you, Koishi-sama? You're a dear friend to me...and one of the most important people in my life..." “But I left you!” The girl’s eye looked directly at Okuu’s, tears trailing down. “I didn’t deserve to be treated this way. I left you behind, I left Orin and left big sis…” A watery eye full of regrets. “Why are you so loyal to someone like me?” "E-Easy now..." Utsuho smiled gently. "What would Satori-sama say if I were to let you die? What matters is that you're safe and sound..." A greenish orb looked down. She could feel a gentle hand warmly petting her head. “I thought I was going to die…” Her hands moved slowly, fingers twitching idly. “I… didn’t want to, I was scared.” She smiled. “I didn’t want to leave you all… even if… I did leave you…” Her eye shifted to Okuu again. “How did you see me?” "Just hearing your screams of agony...and how you desperately wanted me to see you...I pressed deep down inside my heart in order to save you..." Utsuho explained, laughing a bit as she scratched the back of her head. "As cliche as it sounds, that's exactly what happened! Thankfully I was just on time, too..." She trailed off, resting Koishi's head on her shoulder. "Any sooner, and you'd have...yeah, you know...bad, bad things." Koishi chuckled. “That… does sound too cliché.” She held Okuu’s hands, a warm, genuine smile on her lips. “Thank you, Okuu…” She looked down, the thought of her nightmare vivid in her mind. “Do you think… that I was wrong by leaving Chireiden?” "I was surprised to find you, that's for sure...I only went for a midnight fly...only to get caught up in a bunch of situations long the way," the brown-haired girl responded. "I dunno whether you were wrong or not, to be honest." “Then… do you think big sis should stay there? Away from… everything?” Koishi herself seemed lost for an answer. "...I'm not sure..." Utsuho answered honestly, crossing her arms. "I'd like for her to not feel so isolated..." “I feel like… she’s apart from everything.” The little satori smiled. “Isn’t the surface fun and interesting? I found Miss Above The Ground Human here and she was so weird… and I thought that maybe, satori aren’t that weird here. I think… people would accept big sis here… they accepted me.” "I think they'd accept her, too, Koishi-sama..." the other girl smiled warmly. "We just have to bring her up here...heh, it'd be silly seeing the normally stoic mistress looking at things with blind curiosity...it'd be so silly!" Koishi started chuckling, the chuckles turning into quiet laughter. “Yeah…” She grinned. “It would be funny to watch!” Her eyes seemed to be shimmering with excitement. “You think we could convince her?” Utsuho held Koishi's hands and squeezed them. "I'm sure we could convince her if we work together. What do you say, Koishi-sama?" “Yeah! Let’s do it!” Koishi stood up in a flash, seemingly forgetting about her wounds, only to be reminded seconds later as she winced, a pained expression on her face and a feeling of dizziness clouding her mind. “Huuuh…” Utsuho instinctively caught Koishi, resting her head on her shoulder again. "Easy now, miss...you don't want to collapse again, now do you?" “Uh… My head hurts…” Her hand fell over the bandage covering her forehead and eye. “Ah!” Her only visible eye grew bigger as she remembered why she was hurt in the first place. “What happened to the oni lady?! And the cat lady?!” He head shifted around trying to locate them there. "K-Koishi-sama?" the hell raven worriedly gasped, laying Koishi back down on the bed. "W-What's going on? “When that winged lady attacked the Village, there was an oni lady and a cat lady fighting… and then the winged lady made this big energy beam!” Koishi shot her hands to the air, showing how big it was. “Because they killed her friend and…” She winced. “I got hit and I think they did too.” She looked at Okuu in the eyes. “Are they alright? Did you find them?” "I-I'm clueless about that..." Utsuho sighed. "I was too preoccupied taking care of you...maybe the others have leads..." A voice interrupted them. “If you mean Kasen-san and Ellen-san, they are already up and about.” Byakuren entered the room with a trail off food and tea and a big, warm and relieved smile. “I’m happy to see you awake, Koishi-chan.” Koishi smiled back. “Thank you, Miss Weird Hair.” She watched as Byakuren sat down beside them. “So, are they safe?” “I’m not sure if... anyone is…” The monk’s smile faltered. “But they were healthy when they left.” “I see…” The girl grabbed a slice of Castella. “I’m glad to hear that!” And she proceeded to stuff her mouth with cake. Byakuren turned at Okuu. “Have you decided what to do next?” "That's a good question..." Utsuho said quietly, looking deep in thought. "May I trust that Koishi-sama is safe with you?" “She is.” The monk nodded and the pondered a bit. “If she doesn’t use her ability.” She smiled apologetically. “Try as I might…” Her eyes fell on the green haired girl who was completely oblivious to their conversation, eating like she hadn’t eaten in days. Which was the case. “…she always finds a way to elude me.” "I just hope that she doesn't get herself in more trouble..." the brown-haired girl whispered. "Hmm...I wonder how Sanae is doing...it's been days, hasn't it?" “Yes, I haven’t seen her ever since…” Byakuren’s voice trailed as she thought about the wolf tengu. “I don’t think Kanako has been with her either, but she probably knows more about it than I do. The girl was close to Momiji-san, it’s understandable it would come as a terrible shock to her.” "..." Utsuho then grabbed her hair, looking more worried than ever. "Ah, stupid me! How could I let Sanae suffer for these past few days?!" she cried. "I'm a terrible bodyguard! I need to see her as soon as I can!" “You could only be a big sister or a bodyguard at the same time.” Byakuren smiled. “You couldn’t be in two places at once.” She looked at Koishi again, who now seemed to be paying attention. “Okuu, go help your friend.” The little satori smiled. “Friends are important.” "Y-Yeah, that seems like the right thing to do," she agreed, moving to hug Koishi. "I'll see you as soon as I can again, Koishi-sama~" The satori nodded, smiling. “Have a nice trip, Okuu!” She waved her hand. “Don’t explode any houses because that’s bad!” Utsuho almost did a double take, grabbing Koishi by the shoulders. "D-Don't say that again, Koishi-sama," she said seriously, sweatdropping comically. Koishi tilted her head to the side, a bit confused. “But you did, didn’t? Explode a house?” She smiled, raising a finger as if explaining something . “I’m just reminding you that’s bad.” The hell raven held her head down, her face completely red. "Y-Yes, Koishi-sama..." she sighed in defeat. “Run along, you don’t want to keep your friend waiting.” The smile never leaving the satori’s face. Utsuho couldn't help but smile back at her as she looked up. The girl was an absolute sweetheart. "Yes! Be safe!" As she turned to leave, she nodded and smiled at Byakuren as well before leaving the room.

We bring you, Gensokyo High School Love Edition, buy now!
Someone started poking at Seija’s face insistently, two voices seemed to ring both close by and far away at the same time. “You think she’s dead? That’s so scary…” “She isn’t dead.” A pause. “Why are you scared of all the people?” “Corpses are scary though…” She remained lying on the floor, twitching as her face was touched, and then she lashed out, going to grab the two fingers touching her face. "Oi, this face is for Yui only..." “Wah, she moved!” “I told you she was alive.” The owner of the fingers stated. “Why exactly are you on the floor? You’re in people’s way.” "Ughhh... My head, what the fuck happened..." She let go of their poor fingers as she rubbed her forehead, there was the slight drop of blood on her fingers, most of it lied on the pillar where she had collided, her nose had also been crooked slightly. The nue now on clear focus looked at the pillar, then back at the amanojaku. “If I had to guess, you made Murasa angry.” “Woah, that’s even scarier…” A blue haired girl wielding a parasol commented with a shiver as she looked at the huge dent the pillar was now displaying. "Yeah, all I did was say something, and then BAM!" She whacked her fist into her right hand, replicating the sound of her head hitting the pillar. "How long was I out for?" “Yeah, you must’ve said something nice~” Kogasa said with a chuckle. “How should we know how long you were out for? We just randomly found you there.” The nue’s eyes fell on the blood scattered on the floor. “Dirtying the floor.” "We're in a temple full of injured people, of course there are gonna be dirtiness, you god damn clean freaks..." “We let it slide when they didn’t get hurt out of stupidity.” Nue stated bluntly. "Oh thanks for your kind words..." She also responded bluntly as she began to look around, something was beginning to eat away at her, something called guilt. A smirk grew on the Nue’s features. “Feeling guilty? Well, I have no idea where she ran off to so, good luck with that.” She patted Seija’s shoulder as she walked past her. She quickly dragged up her middle finger as Nue walked away, she also mouthed 'fuck you' aswell as she began to walk into the general direction of the temple exit. “Where are ya going?” The little parasol wielding youkai asked, looking at her. "Going to find Murasa, what do you think?" “How exactly are you going to find her? She can be anywhere.” The youkai shrugged. “She lives here, she’ll probably get back here. Probably angrier.” "I would use my trademark words, but she'd kill me, at this point, I wouldn't be surpised if I did, I told too many lies that she'd never believe me..." “What did you tell her anyways? I mean, it’s easy to get her moody but getting her that angry…” Her eyes looked at the pillar once again. "If you even chuckle, I have permission to bring your face into the floor, and you'll be the fucking umbrella that was left behind..." She glared at Kogasa as she suddenly came behind her, cracking her knuckles. "...And by the way, I said I love her..." “WHA?! Wow!” The bake looked surprised and slightly embarrassed now that she knew the answer. “Wait.. how? How did you get a crush on her? Did you guys know each other before this?” "...I guess the crush sorta happened, it's a crushing feeling that I most likely broke her heart with my words of poison..." “No, huh, you probably said something really stupid after that, didn’t you?” The bicolored eyed girl shrugged with condescendence. “Who would even slam someone’s skull against a pillar after they had confessed?” "Well, I guess I said it at a really bad time and she thought it was a joke and well, that's how I ended up." Seija grumbled. “Wow, you’re really terrible with social interactions, aren’t you?” "Yeah, I'm surprised I've been keeping up this chat without you getting pissed off at me..." “Weell… I’m usually the one who people get angry at so…” The light blue haired girl said with a nervous chuckle. “I get you, somewhat.” She looked at her eyes. “Just be honest with your words. If there’s something Murasa admires is honesty.” "Sorta hard when two things you've said to her became lies, and I think she doesn't tend to forgot what you did, no matter what you do to fix that, but yet, you've been through a crush phase right?" “No, I haven’t.” Kogasa shrugged. “But I doubt you didn’t say something to make her think you were joking. She’s pretty level headed when you’re speaking seriously with her. Her reaction is weird.” "That's Murasa for you..." Seija sighed. "I guess I have to go and find her, and tell her how I feel about her..." The youkai girl twirled the parasol in her hand. “Good luck with this then. Give her some roses when you apologize.” She chuckled as she started walking away. “That always works.” "Right, I'll keep that in mind..." She began to wander into the village, in hopes of finding the captain who cannot handle love. The village was slowly returning to its normal activity even though it there was an evident sense of fear and suspicion lingering in the air. Seija wandered the streets full of unfamiliar faces for hours without finding any signs of the sailor. Speaking to an elderly woman was Kosuzu, an awkward expression on her face as she tried to discuss something with her, at her side stood a tall woman with glasses, passively listening to the conversation as she smoked from a pipe. The old lady shot Seija a nasty look and she started leaving. “Ah…” Kosuzu started and then sighed deeply. The tall woman looked at Seija, a pleasant smile on her lips. “Pay that woman no mind. It’s only natural some will suspect youkai more than usual after the latest events.” She took a puff from her pipe. The librarian nodded negative as she watched the woman leave. “It doesn’t mean I’ll just let it happen without doing anything…” “Yes, I suppose.” The woman’s eyes didn’t leave Seija’s. “I can’t see I’ve seen anyone with that description, did you?” She looked at Kosuzu. The short girl looked at Seija. “You mean Miss Murasa? She was wandering about near the forest, said she was going to get some wood.” Kosuzu pointed. “I haven’t seen you in a while, are you alright?” "...I've been in a lot more shit since we last met, but I hope you are doing well..." The amanojaku merely thought to herself for a while, thinking why she had gone to the woods alone. "And who's the tall woman?" “I’m just a regular in Kosuzu’s shop, pay me no mind.” The woman waved her off with a smile. “You didn’t go off and beat more bar owners, did you?” Kosuzu frowned a bit with concern. "Well, no; it was something worse than that..." Seija said, eyes downcast. “Killing people is wrong.” The woman said, a finger raised explicatively. “What?!” Kosuzu looked shocked from Seija to the woman. The woman laughed. “Calm down, it clearly isn’t that.” She took a puff from her pipe once again, her eyes twinkling slyly. “Love at first sight doesn’t exist. Love takes time, and love takes work. At the very least you have to know the other person.” The smoke from the pipe rose up. “Be honest, talk with her, get to know her. No harm will come if things are done in the correct sequence.” Her smile grew a bit. “There is no such notion as building a house starting with the roof.” "How the fuck do you even-..." She sighed as she glared at the smoking woman, she had hidden her face in the safety of her hands, although there was the bright pink blush. The librarian seemed to be confused for a bit. “Oh! You like someone?” She sounded cheerful. “Who is it?” The woman interrupted the excited girl. “Create the pillars to support your relationship first. If the pillars are strong enough then, it will be natural that it grows to something greater.” Her hand lightly touched Seija’s shoulder. “She will listen to you if you speak from your heart.” "Well, if a pillar can become one from a house, I guess I just need her more than ever..." She suddenly nodded at the woman and she bolted towards the forest, leaving the poor confused people in her dust. Kosuzu looked at the woman. “That’s unfair, I wanted to know more about it!” The woman chuckled, looking at Seija rushing off. “That has nothing to do with us.” She turned away and went off her way as the librarian begrudgingly tagged along.

This is a great pre-post comment.
The maid silently led the witch through walls and doors until they arrived at the kitchen, she pulled a chair and made a movement indicating Ellen to sit down. “My apologies for being forceful, but I didn’t want Lady Shinki to hear my thoughts on this matter, please sit down.” As she had promised, she started preparing tea. “Is there anything of worth in your Human Village? Anything magical or important enough that two powerful beings would bother attacking it for?” The blonde witch sat down on the chair, before closing her eyes and pondering. "Well... From what little I know... There's a library of sorts that has tons of forbidden books or something like that. And I heard that there's some girl living in the village that preserves the history of Gensokyo or something like that...?" Ellen shook her head. "No... I don't think they were going for those places..." Ellen lowered her head. "Before the whole fight started, I was in the village with Kasen... And then suddenly, this green magical sigil appeared under a group of humans and then those humans suddenly collapsed and..." Ellen hugged herself and fell silent. “They died.” Yumeko finished for Ellen. “But that doesn’t make sense.” She turned to Ellen. “We have established that the sigil absorbs people’s life essence, but that isn’t something that would interest them in the slightest. They aren’t that kind of demons.” Her eyes wondered to her side, looking at nothing in particular. “Do you believe they’re the culprits?” "... No." the blonde witch answered firmly. "At least, not the real culprits, although they might be involved." she crossed her arms. "The spell absorbs life energy from its victim. With the amount of people that have been killed, the culprit should have enough power than going after humans would be a waste of time. Something like a god or some other equally powerful being would be much more worth it. ... That's what I think, anyway." “Precisely.” Yumeko crossed her arms as well. “I’m sure they are connected to the culprit but I’m also equally sure they used it as an opportunity to follow their own agenda.” She closed her eyes. “There are a lot of things they excelled in, the sisters, but the only one no being can surpass them on is their ability to hold grudges. However…” The water began to whistle as it came to boil. “Makai is so very far, away from their reach. Should they set foot in our lands, they will immediately be exterminated.” "They are taking advantage of the incident in order to get revenge on Shinki through other methods. Is that what you're saying?" Ellen said. “Yes.” The maid added the herbs to the water. “Lady Shinki is right to worry, but she’s posing her worries as hypothesis while I am quite certain they are certainties.” The sound of liquid filling porcelain could be heard. “Killing aleatory humans, while unfortunate, it does not affect Lady Shinki, not as they want it to affect her.” Elegantly, she laid the porcelain cup in front of the witch. “But it affects those that are there and have a connection with Lady Shinki. You might not be familiar with it, but Lady Alice enjoys putting up puppet shows for the children in the Village.” Ellen mumbled a few insults under her breath before taking a sip of her tea. "Well. At the very least, by killing her sister we turned the winged girl's attention towards us, so those attacks should stop. ... Hopefully." she sighed "There's still the question of who were they working with, of course." “Maybe, maybe not. I can’t begin to start comprehending what goes in Gengetsu’s head.” Yumeko looked at Ellen, her eyes showing nothing. “But right now, you aren’t there, are you?” The blonde witch facepalmed. "Dammit, you're right." she put the cup of tea down and stood up. "We need to get back to Gensokyo before something worse happens..." “Even if you are there, you won’t know where she is.” Yumeko stated bluntly. “You need to think things through, don’t rush anything. I don’t know who’s the real culprit or what other motivations Gengetsu has, but if you find Lady Alice it will only a matter of time until she comes to attack her. Bring her down then, if you can’t bring her down sooner.” She grabbed the tea cup. “I wish I could leave and help you as well, it is a Makai problem as much as it is Gensokyo’s, but I can’t leave Lady Shinki alone.” The maid thought for a few moments. "I could ask someone to accompany you and help you with the Gengetsu problem, if you'd consider it beneficial." The blonde witch rubbed her chin. "Well... We're probably going to need all the help we can get to deal with that girl... Plus having someone who actually knows how to deal with Gengetsu would be a great help, in my opinion." she nodded slowly. "If it is not too much trouble, I'd gladly accept the backup." The maid nodded. “Very well, I’ll ask Yuki for help. She’s a witch as well, she will surely know how to help.” She paused. “I’m afraid you will be the ones that will have to talk with her.” Grabbing a pen and paper from her apron, she sat down writing. Ellen looked at the photos with a smile. "Oooh... She looks so cute~. I kind of want to hug the photos... Anyway." she patted Kasen's shoulder as she took Yumeko's letter out of her pocket. "We have to go find this Yuki girl so that we can get some help to fight against that Gengetsu woman. And then we have to go back to Gensokyo. I mean, unless you two were planning to stay her longer to listen to the goddess's stories~" she looked over at Flandre. The young vampire shook her head. "Well... I kind of want to hear more, but... We still need to find Marisa and Alice, so..." she looked at the goddess. "Can we come back some other day, when the incident is settled, to hear more stories about when your daughter was a kid?" Kasen arched her brows at Flan’s first comment but said nothing. The goddess, on the other hand, seemed reminded of why they were here to begin with. “Oh, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to keep you for long I was…” “Just trying to keep your mind from thinking about what’s worrying you.” The hermit finished. “We understand.” She smiled understandingly and the goddess gave an apologetic smile. “I… If anything happens, anything… bad…” The woman’s eyes where downcast. “Please come tell me.” ‘If matters come to worse I’ll…’ Flan flew over the lands of Makai as fast as she could, passing over the ruins Shinki had mentioned before. Eventually, the young vampire reached the escarpment in question, and landed softly. She looked towards the small house nearby. "Soo... I guess that's where that Yuki girl lives?" Ellen landed, quick enough to answer the young vampire's question. "Well, apparently so. I mean, unless the goddess lied to us." she walked over towards the house and began knocking on the door repeatedly, shouting: "Hellooooooo?! We're searching for a witch named Yuki! It's urgeeeent!" There was scrambling going on behind the door, hurried footsteps tapping on wooden ground and them a louder noise of someone hitting the ground followed by an “ooof”. A dew seconds passed and the person climbed back to her feet and flew the door open. “I’M UP! ARE WE BEING INVADED?!” A blonde haired girl in her pajamas stood in front of the door wearing the half-lided eyes of someone that had just woken up, looking around for potential invaders while on a martial stance. After a minute of awkward silence and uncomfortable side glances, her eyes finally focused on the people before her. Brows slowly turning into a frown she pointed, shocked, at the weird group in front of her. “AH!” A fireball formed on her hand. “ YOU ARE THE INVADERS! THIS IS A TRAP!” Both Ellen and Flandre stared at the young girl for a few seconds. The blonde witch sighed, walked over to the girl and flicked her forehead. "We're not invaders, thank you." she took Yumeko's letter out of her pocket and showed it to the girl in pajamas. "The goddess's maid gave me this for you. We kind of need your help." The blonde grabbed the letter and started reading the letter out loud. “ ’Dear Yuki, I have sent you some invaders from Gensokyo to ask for your help,’” the fireball on her hand grew bigger as she uttered the next sentence, her expression still completely casual. “ ’you can dispose of them, they are of no use.’” Kasen looked at Ellen in shock, mouthing a ‘what the hell are you doing?!’ “ ’Actually, I am just kidding, pay no mind. (Lol)” The fireball disappeared.“ ’Then need your help to deal with Gengetsu, you of all the people should know much about her so I reckon you can give them a hand, after all, you’re a good for nothing that only knows---‘” She coughed, ripped the letter to bits with a smile. “The rest isn’t important! So you want my help, huh…” She put her finger on her chin, pondering. “But that will probably make Mai mad…” "Does it really matter that much?" Ellen put her hands on her hips. "Several people -including myself, mind you- have died or almost died because of that Gengetsu girl. Surely saving the lives of several more Gensokyians by stopping her is worth getting your friend mad for. Think of it, you'd be renowned as a hero throughout Gensokyo!" Ellen fell silent for a few seconds before tilting her head and smiling. "Alternatively, we could just throw you inside a bag, knock you out, and kidnap you~" “You don’t understand, last time she got mad she froze my limbs and I couldn’t use my fire magic so I had to wait for the ice to melt and… huh, her ice takes ages to melt…” Her eyes feel to the ground. “I was so hungry and couldn’t eat a thing…” She shook off her trauma and smile. “I’d set the bag on fire.” She crossed her arms. “Anyway, I don’t think it’s polite to call my name without introducing yourselves.” 'Polite? Come on, I just suggested kidnapping you. Any politeness disappeared the moment I said that...' the blonde witch scratched her cheek and sighed. "Yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, I'm Fluffy Ellen, Gensokyo's personal Love Witch, at your service~!" Right beside her, the young vampire facepalmed. "My name's Flandre. Nice to meet you, Ms.Yuki." “I’m Kasen Ibaraki, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The oni said, she seemed to be mentally tired from all that. “Alright, at least now I won’t need to come up with nicknames.” The girl smiled. “My name is Yuki, the witch.” She looked at herself, suddenly reminded of something. “And I’m on my pajamas so excuse me, I’m changing to my clothes.” And she rushed into her home. “Another weirdo.” Kasen rubbed her temples as if she had given up on something deep in her soul. “Are we going to be ok?” Ellen looked towards Kasen and gave her a reassuring smile. "We're already a bunch of weirdos ourselves. We'll be fine~!"
