It's that time of the year again. The time of the year in which the world's greatest waifus fight against each other in a deadly cage match to prove who is the true waifu amongst them a-- what. what do you mean that's not what this is about. oooooh. character popularity okay then.
It's the time of the year in which every Touhou character, regardless of importance, test their mettle and popularity against their former companions to prove once for all who is the most popular character of all!
Perhaps this year the Hakurei Shrine Maiden will reclaim her rightful position as most popular character? Perhaps Koishi will continue maintaining that #1 position? Or maybe, perhaps, we'll see some new face on the first place?The fate of this poll is up to you, reader!
Okay, dramatism aside, the 12th Popularity Poll organized by the japanese Touhou Wiki has started. The procedure is similar to the previous years. Enter the poll page and click the big red button to access the main poll page. Once you're in there, click the first blue link to request your voter ID.
You have to put in your email address (1st box) and a captcha. You also have the choice of inputting the ID you used in the previous poll, should you have it on hand. This is optional and only used for statistics purposes. You'll receive the ID in your email inbox.
Once you have the email on hand, you can start voting! The four last blue links are the actual polls (in order: Character Poll, Music Poll, Works Poll, Voter Questionaire). Here are the translated options for the poll page: imgur.com/a/RbqGy
For the character poll, you can vote for a maximum of 7 characters. The first character you choose gets 2 points while the other 6 get one point.
For the music poll, you can vote for a maximum of 10 songs. The first song gets 2 points and the other 9 get 1 point.
And for the works poll, you can vote for a maximum of 5 favourite works. The first one you choose gets 2 points.
Since character names and song names aren't translated, it's recommended that you have the wiki on hand, as that way you can easily get the names of your favourite characters/songs.
