I got 50 Euros from my parents. They don't know how to surprise me with gifts anymore, so instead they chose the easier solution and just gave me money, which means that I get to choose my own gift.

I got 3 shirts, a black heavy sweater (which is functionally useless, since I live in Florida), pants, shoes, a book, and $55 total between a prepaid debit card and a check.
I knew I'm "too ooold for toys" as believed by the members of my family who actually have fucking money but it's a bit sour to have to deal with my laptop falling apart yesterday, getting bratted at by my grandpa over something absolutely retarded and not relevent to what I was getting farked at at all, and watching my brother get Skylanders Superchargers and literally everything he asked for.
I know I should be thankful and all that and I'm sorry for venting. I've had a hard semester this year.
