In accordance with the plans to change and improve Eientei, the CoC has been revised with the rules streamlined and amended. We recommend that every member rereads it but the changes will hopefully not make any difference to the vast majority of members.

I thought the FAQ was pretty funny, but the real question is: Does calling someone a scrub count as harassment, or worse yet, as an insult? Even if it's the truth? I need some answers.

If it's the truth I don't think they'll take offence, bushes aren't known for whining... let alone talking. Seriously, though, it really does depend on the situation xD But generally, as long as the intention was that it was a joke, and it's not excessive, then there's no problem (which is most situations). Of course, if you used it as an actual insult (and it's usually pretty easy to tell when someone is being serious rather than joking), then... welp there's your answer. But even more seriously though, being called a scrub on the internet is probably positive karma points, so anyone who feels offended by being called a scrub will be shouted at about how ungrateful they are. |
