Eientei Fibbage – Game 1
Host – Verdant Shade
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the first game of Fibbage on Eientei. Whether you join or watch, I hope this proves to be an interesting game for everyone involved.
-Rules and Gameplay-
Entering the game
• I will be taking signups from now until the first round starts.
• You can enter via posting below or by PM, but I'll be listing you on the participants list at the bottom of the page either way.
• The start of Round 1 will be Monday, August 24th at 9AM PST 1
• The maximum number of players I will take for this round is 12Scoring – Points and Likes
1) I will ask a multiple choice or short answer question for all players in this topic.
2) Each player has twenty-four hours to send in the Fib they think will fool the other players. Submission is done by PM’ing me. Please use the word Fibbage or Fib somewhere in your title/subject.
a) Revision: Each player can send in a list of up to Three Fibs. Only the first valid Fib will be selected.
b) If you can’t think of a Fib you can ask for a Lie for Me. The Host will put a Fib in the answers list for you. This can be your third "Fib" on the list of Fibs if you so choose.
c) Multiple players can send in the same Fib. Your Fibs will be posted as one option.
3) Once I’ve received all players’ Fibs or the time limit has passed, Fibbing will be closed and the choices will be presented.
4) You have another twenty-four hours to PM me your answer selected from the list of choices. Please title your PM with something related to Fibbage or Answers.
5) You can only select one of the choices presented. The number of choices available is at least equal to the number of players plus one true answer – even if some people did not send a Fib in. 2
a) For every player who picks your Fib, you gain 500 points.
b) For picking the answer to the question, you gain 1000 points.
c) Important: For picking one of the Host’s Fibs, you will lose 500 points. Your score can go into the negatives because of this.
6) When sending in your answer for the round, you can also “Thumbs up” any answers you think are wrong but you like them anyways.
a) Likes are tallied separately from points.
b) Each player can like multiple answers.
c) Each answer can be liked multiple times by different people. All of these likes are shown after the guesses have been revealed.
7) After all questions have been sent in or the time is up, I’ll post the results for the question as soon as possible. The running totals for each player will follow afterwards in a chart.Game Progress
• The current game will run for five questions across three rounds.
• The first two rounds will last for two questions each. The final round is only one question.
• The round number multiplies the number of points you gain whenever applicable. Likes are not multiplied.
• At the end of round 3, the Final Fibbage, I’ll bring up the points and likes totals for every player and present the Game Winner for Most Points and the Thumbs Up Cup for having the most likes.
• More than one player can win each category.Other rules
1. Thanks to how long it took me to scrape this topic together, I’m taking requests for extensions if enough players or not enough sign up.
2. Host’s Fibs are not Lie for Me fibs. The host’s fibs can pop up in the choices list for the following reasons.
a. If a player does not send in a Fib.

Firstly, a quick shout out and thank you to
- All four players who have signed up on such short notice! I am sorry for the suddeness and thank you for your interest.
- The staff member, Arya, for providing some moral support on encouraging me to keep this idea up.
Now, an announcement regarding rule revision. Yes, more short notice, I know.
2) Each player has twenty-four hours to send in the Fib they think will fool the other players. Submission is done by PM’ing me. Please use the word Fibbage or Fib somewhere in your title/subject.

Considering time Zones and there being only twenty four hours for input, I'm afraid of problems arising from people sending me the truth during Fibbage phase, having their fib rejected and being unable to send in a new one.
To reiterate, send me up to three Fibs via PM with them being prioritized from first to last. This should alleviate some possible problems.

There will probably be a second Fibbage game soon after this one ends - it's more a question of how long between the first and second games. After that I'm reserving judgement based on how much fun people are having, how interesting it is, etc. |
