idk if he deleted his account now or if he was permabanned for some reason, but apparently the user got probated for this post in which I can see no offense that justifies such a punishment or any at all |

I agree with you completely, people should not be probated based on mood. To deal with such situations, all probations are subjected to a staff discussion as soon as possible. If it is agreed that the probation was not justified, then the victim shall be released immediately with a formal apology.
If the probation persists, while the victim feels that it is not justified, they are recommended to appeal to a staff member directly and explain their case. We will try our best to ensure that justice is served.
To my knowledge MLG did get banned by the staff- Although it was done after a staff discussion and there was a unanimous agreement that the posts he has contributed to the forum have not added to all the threads he posted upon in his time on the forum, which is to say, "trollposts" and "shitposts" in boards other than the spam board. This also means it was not because of a staff member's mood.
The deletion itself was actually an accident, we apologize for that. If he feels that the punishment is not justified, then he is welcome to appeal to the staff using our appeal system written on the code of conduct.

I do want to say something about this thread title though. Namely, that banning people for fun is very tasteless.

Not to be rude, but I'm curious instead so I'm still gonna ask.
... How can an account be deleted as an accident..? I mean, is there not a verification question for "if you really want to delete this account?" Maybe that I'm naive to think there's one, but if there's a button for deleting in an instant, that's kind of scary.
Not too sure if in that case a solution is possible.

Denpa was banned from the site permanently. I haven't banned anyone before, so I made a mistake with the process. I forgot to mark down his IP address in the banlist before deleting his account. Though that new hibiki acclunt that he made was banned properly once the address was tracked and marked down properly thanks to Alicia's help.
Though the fact that accounts are deleted after banishment seems to be unpopular. The staff will discuss a potential way on how to handle banned accounts in the future, with banned accounts not being deleted, but having something like the word 'Banned' as the account's avatar. We'll keep you guys up to date.
