Depending on how much time I have.
Usually about 1-5 times a week, usually from about 20 mins to an hour really, maybe more sometimes.

Usually when I feel motivated to do something, I give it a few hours of credits if I can, due to less time these days I do play quite a lot less.
This follows for any shmup though.
a bit of elaborating: Before I had less time to play; get online; whatnot, I used to play probably around 4-5 hours if I could, sometimes longer sometimes not. these days it's already highly unlikely that I play for 2 hours due to how limited my time is, but once I get more time I guess 4-5 hours or longer might become normal again.
EDIT: I don't always play daily but I think doing this about 5-6 days in the week used to be normal. Best is to mention I have times when I don't feel like doing anything on the day. When I try something my motivation's usually fine enough to give it some attention, although I usually end up leaving things unfinished due to needing variation; come back to it later to get it done. It's probably a bad thing that I don't aim on 1 thing for 100% the entire time but I hardly can after like 3-4 hours of 1 game; 1 challenge or so, so variation kind of brings a bit of calmth; feels rather refreshing. That said, I'm likely to get it done even better later than how I started before.
I felt like this edit was necessary as I felt like this post barely explained the important parts.
