2. PCB Normal 1cc
Perhaps the one thing I had longed for the most of all my Touhou accomplishments.

1. GFW Easy Routes C-1 and C-2 1cc
Nothing drove home the potential I have as well as that one achievement did. There's a reason it's my new favorite game in my mini-profile.

2. DDC Hard 1cc Sakuya A, The first Hard 1cc I got on a windows game, and my first Hard 1cc with Sakuya. >////////< Also it was my second try

Also 2. (I can't bring my self to choose one over the other) HRtP Lunatic 1cc Makai route. The rush I felt with this one was almost as though I were high, or at least what I imagine to be high.

1. EoSD Extra Reimu A, my first Extra, and the first fruit of labour I got from Touhou, back then I spent day after day playing EoSD, until 200 tries later during spring break 2013 on my third try of that day,. I got it, One of those memories forever engraved into my mind.

5. MoF Normal 1cc with ReimuB

Yeah, this was my first MoF 1cc, but this was after I 1cc'd a few other games, like PoFV, IN and TD. What made this one memorable, were the circumstances around it. I was at Fera's place and I reached Stage 6 with only one extra life (and no hope for getting another). Past runs were much more favorable and I failed them all. And yet, in this moment of despair, I was able to get through Stage 6 and Kanako. Abused my bombs as I needed them. Made it to Mountain of Faith with 0 extra lives and 4.50 Power. Fera poured a mountain of faith on me and was cheering me on the entire time. My despair drove me to victory. It was a truly exhilarating moment.

4. HRtP Normal 1cc on Makai Route
13th January 2013

Even now, I have no idea how I got so attached to this game. It's difficult (screw you, YuugenMagan), it's exhausting (20 freaking stages), it's frustrating (that one unflipped tile is just trolling me!), it's nerve-wracking (HARRY UP!), it's annoying (no, Reimu, I do NOT want you to Triple Kick Dance!) and can be just plain stupid (slanted laser spam, with angles that can go below 30 degrees on a game with no vertical movement). But I refused to give up, and spent about a month just grinding on HRtP until I finally 1cc'd it. I was planning to wait until I lost all my lives to spam my bombs to murder Sariel, but I ended up perfecting her final phase (Civilization of Magic) instead! And considering how much time and effort I put into such a silly game, this was a really amazing 1cc for me.

Note, even now I consider this to be the most difficult one out of all my successful achievements so far.

3. EoSD Extra Clear with MarisaA

This one is really special for me. This was my first Extra Stage Clear, and some of you might know that I really love Extra Stages now and they're my favorite part of Touhou gameplay. And Flandre Scarlet is my favorite Touhou character. So yeah. My love for Flandre is what motivated me to seriously try and clear an Extra Stage. And as any Ex player here can tell you, Ex stages generally require you to grind and learn through the stage step by step. I kept grinding through it for Flan-chan's sake and then I finally cleared it. Fera was there behind me when I cleared it, and watched me as I jumped into the bed and went crazy with the pillow. I was finally able to play with Flan-chan all the way until she was satisfied~

2. SA Normal 1cc with Patchy (MarisaB)

For about two years before this moment, SA has always remained as a challenging obstacle. I remember when I first Game Over'd at Parsee... and then the times when I kept failing at Yuugi... and then all the BoWaP walling... and then my inability to even reach Rin. SA was special for me because I gradually got better at it over a really long period of time. But I just couldn't get past Rin no matter how many Continues I used, even after I 1cc'd most other games on Normal. And then I was forced to play SA for a Draft Competition. I spent about 12 days doing almost nothing but grinding SA, getting past Rin (with Continues) on the fifth day and then I finally 1cc'd it seven days after that. This 1cc was memorable not because of the events in the run itself, but because of the huge investment I put into it. But for far longer than my HRtP 1cc. I still remember that moment in my cousin's room when I finally cleared Hell's Artificial Sun, getting sucked into Okuu's gravity, 1ccing SA after so long...

1. PoFV Normal 1cc with Lyrica

This was at a point where me 1ccing a Touhou game (outside of MoF MarisaBroken) felt like nothing but an impossible fantasy. Still, I found PoFV fun and tried clearing (with Continues) it with all the characters one by one. And then it was Lyrica's turn. From the first few stages, I quickly realized that Lyrica's mechanics fit my playstyle very well. I don't remember much of how the run went but I do remember clearing Stage 6 on the first round, which like, never happened on Stage 6 before. And then I ended up 1ccing PoFV! I was actually able to 1cc a Touhou game without glitches! I was all alone in the shared dorm room at the time and I just went crazy. I do remember sending a text message to Fera (on the phone) once I calmed myself though, I wonder if he remembers that...

This was the moment when I got my first legit Touhou 1cc, which made me feel like a true Touhou player. Yes, I know, this sounds extremely silly right now, because /PoFV, but I cannot deny how I felt at that time. This was far from my proudest achievement, but it is definitely the most memorable one, and I believe it was the most critical event that motivated me to strive harder and grow into the player that I am now.

Also, this run was the first time I ever met Kazami Yuuka, who is now my one and only waifu. I'm just going to say that it's probably not a coincidence that my waifu that I fell in love with was one whom I first encountered during my most memorable Touhou experience.

Beating Mokou in Extra-6 of Shoot the Bullet. HOO boy.

As a full blood American, I expect to have my successes handed to me within the first three credits of ever attempting something and as such, my repetoire of grand achievements have been somewhat limited and so I cannot recall in much detail for something to be all that memorable. Surely doing something cool feels nice and makes me happy but Nazrin makes me happy a lot too and surely I wouldn't keep a freaking log over whenever that happened.

Okay, I actually kinda do but that's beside the point. Point is, i'm sure there's tons of memorable stuff in there but since my memory is busted and everything I do isn't the result of practice or other pagan practices but pure raw talons sharp enough to cleave through even Youmu's sword, I have completely forgotten any such sensations.

One might say that perhabs failing to LNN MoF within 1.5 hours of attempts due to a death on one of Kanako's first attacks is an astoundingly memorable situation, a situation that a lot of other people certainly seem to have memorized by now and likes to remind me of with a silly meme about the outstanding difficulty of this one particular attack. Of course, what these silly plebs don't realize is that it was all a deliberate ruse. You see, I was racing some extreme weeblord for the achievement and I didn't want to hurt his feelings by getting it right away so I intentionally sacrificed the life of a young shrine maiden to ensure that the opposition could win. Can we call it memorable? Not as memorable as my Nazrin fanfiction. Now as for that fanfiction. Its about a young and ridiculously attractive mouse who is insanely good at being white. That was not a racial comment but more a hint to her identity as someone pretty good at DDC. She is bullied in school because she's a nerd and because apparently its not 'in' to have mouse ears so she has no friends. Then she encounters a dude who may at the first glance not be any remarkable but he stands out by wearing 3D glasses on top of his sunglasses because if one pair of sunglasses makes you look cool, two pairs of glasses whereas only one of them is really sunglasses must be 150% as cool. They stumble into each other at a game convention and it just so CONVENIENTLY happens that they both like playing shmup games so they go home because the mouse would like to try an... wait for it... Arcade stick - she comes home and what do you know. She really loved it! She said she wanted to come back to play with the stick some more because it worked a lot better for her than her controller.

Now, if you're wondering where I'm going with this, there is a morale of the story that I will point out to you. With my pointing finger. (haha) And that is the fact that life with a mouse is never boring! She shitposts on 4chan christs sake, what more do you want?!

3. MoF ExNN - I'm a perfectionist and this is the first time I accomplished something that I was 100% satisfied with. It was not something I should've been able to do at the time, given my skill level. I was playing a lot of MoF extra at the time and managed to get an NN run past Froggy Braves the Element. I remember thinking that the run had 1MNB potential, since capturing the penultimate card was impossible for me. But somehow, I captured it for my first time ever on that credit. I was nervous as hell for the last card, but luckily it's an easy one and I prevailed.

2. TD LNNN - This is currently my only achievement which took more than two months to accomplish. Stage 5 is the point where I got nervous. After every hard section of the game, I got even more nervous and when I reached stage 6 for the second time ever, I was shaking. I was playing bad throughout the entire Miko fight, forgetting my route on the 3rd spell and making some poor decisions on the non-spells. The penultimate spell took forever, but I capped it. I can't put into words how I felt after that, so I'll let the Twitch highlight do the explaining.

1, MoF L4MNB - My first LNB. It took around 3 weeks of learning and 10 days of grinding. This particular attempt started with Stages 1-3 NMNB, 1 miss due to killing Momiji early and NMNB Aya. I was more nervous than ever entering stage 5, it was my best run up to that point. But that didn't stop me getting an NN stage 5 and reaching stage 6 with 7 spare lives. At that point I stopped feeling nervous. 8 deaths on stage 6 would never happen. The run was already an LNB and stage 6 was the victory lap. Under almost no pressure, I got an above-average 3MNB stage 6 with a VoWG capture. The run was a 4MNB, something which I would've never imagined I could get. It took me months, until I started work on TD, before I was able to top this accomplishment. Video
