Current Goals Thread

Double post to include my own personal response to the thread.

Main Goals:

PCB 2.5billion
Progress: 2.34bil so far. Tough game, but I have a route that allows 2.6bil+ if optimized. The problem is the optimization part. Something will always go wrong because I don't yet have the experience and skill in the game to do these things consistency. They will grow with time though.

MoF LNN
Progress: 2MNB, made it to Source of Rains
LNN/LNNN runs are a nice side goal I have going. They're like a fun and very satisfying collection to have. I only have 2 right now but I want to get another game. MoF seems like the next target seeing as I'm so close (got to source of rains). I just need to keep feeding credits until I get the urn.

Other goals:

DDC 1.4bil
Progress: 1.32bil
I don't really take this game too seriously for score anymore now that I have my original goal of 1.3bil. This game is more of a survival game for me but I do like the scoring a bit. Maybe after I get my PCB scoring goals caught up on I'll put more attention into this. Would be nice to score this better and maybe become acquainted with YSZK-senpai.

TD LNNN
Progress: 2MNBNT
This game is too hard to grind due to how slow it is. I'll consider grinding this after MoF LNN because it's a doable target and a nice addition to my LNN/LNNN collection I'm building. If I go for this, I really want FS (Full Spell).

Also I'm still technically in the "TD Race" with Chum and Zengeku. Wonder who will win? ;3

SA LNN
Progress: 2MNB
Ah, SA LNN. Never forget the grind that Nindel and Ever went through to achieve this. I honestly don't know if I really want to go for LNN in this game. It would feel satisfying though...

I'll give it a look if I ever get TD and MoF...

I've been really lazy in terms of what I want to do in Touhou, need some motivation (and in some cases, better hardware), but here goes

Current goal
IN: Youmu solo LNB

Other goals
TD: LNBNT

SA: 3.5b Lunatic

UFO: git gud

There is a chance that I may do some of these sooner than expected based on my mood. Nothing too major.

Immediate Goals I have in mind at the moment:
- Clearing normal and hard in the other games I haven't quite put as much time in. Kind of want to see what other games click with me.
- SoEW Lunatic (been thinking about going after this one.)

Goals for later (will probably do these on the side):
- Work on EoSD Hard and Lunatic
- Shoot the Bullet (actually working on this on the side)
- Put more time in PoDD (I've at least been thinking about doing a Chiyuri Hard clear for a while now)

Whenever I get around to these (doesn't have as much priority as the ones above):
- Learn proper border routes in PCB. Probably will research routes for normal later.

-Get my last two Hard 1cc's: UFO and DDC
-Complete all Extra Stages
-Complete Normal NB runs of all windows games.

In that order.

Because my very first Hard 1cc was with the same game, so what better way to do it

Besides it's more sane than GFW.

The game, the route, the music, the characters that got me into playing Touhou. All in one game. I should honor it appropiately.

Phantasmagoria Trues Standard 1cc (FlandreA)

Because why not. The game is already hard as hell so it should be a proper achievement.

Mystical Chain Hard 1cc with Marisa/Alice. True End.

Because I want to unlock Desesperation Mode at some point.

EoSD Extra All Clear

At some point I want to do this because Waifu Bias.

I like Koishi quite a bit, so...

There are a few more that I can't remember atm. And I have a whole lot of other goals for non-Touhou games, but this should be enough

I'm currently trying to learn scoring on lunatic with scarlet team.
But because of how bad I am it's quite a struggle so far, so maybe I'll go for some sidegoals in between or score on a lower difficulty.
Sidegoals could be EoSD LNB, PCB LNB or learning one of the newer games. Maybe even just getting another LNB in IN with scarlet team

Some of my goals, note that they can be Touhou original, Touhou fangames and Doujin/arcade games. All of them are shmups. I do have less time due to limits and all so it might take long before all of them are done, I think some will take really long too; might even have to wait until I'm back to the Netherlands.

Leiria -Stargazer-: Normal Mode scoring run 400-700m with the Original shottype, of course a TLB 1cc (this is likely my main goal as of now, 500m would already mean a western record and potentional normal mode WR..?) Hard mode clear and a normal TLB NMNB.

东方百花宴 ~ the Flower Shooter: 1.3-1.7 billion lunatic mode 1cc with AyaA (Would be a western record or even a potentional WR..?)

Subterranean Animism: Extra Stage No Focus with ReimuB and some minor grazing.

Mountain of Faith: Extra Stage NMNB and LNB both with ReimuB.

Kaikan: 300-400m TLB 1cc.

Rayging Blue's -conflict warred-: Just a 1cc I guess, there aren't really difficulties and I don't know if this game really has a scoring system.

Crimzon Clover World Ignition: Novice Original 1 trillion and an arcade original mode clear with atleast a decent score.

Flame Zapper Kotsujin: Normal mode 90 FPS clear and a Very Hard mode Clear, maybe normal/hard/very hard scoring too.

Galaxy Frontier: 1.3-1.4 billion clear.

Tsundere Wars: 500k clear.

PatroitDark: Normal mode clear I guess, don't know too much about this shmup.

Alternative Sphere: Maybe normal mode scoring and a hard mode clear. (Best would be TLB clear.)

Mystic Square: Lunatic No bombs and Extra Stage NMNB.

Lotus Land Story: Lunatic No bombs and Extra Stage Scoring.

Story of Eastern Wonderland: Extra Stage 90 FPS and Extra Stage NMNB.

東方水晶宮 ~ Crystallized Mythology: Lunatic 1cc and an EX clear, trying to learn how to score alongside with that.

东方花逐夜 ~ DoDonPachi Daiueiku: Normal Mode Scoring with the Hyper shot, a god mode clear with the hyper shot, probably.

Zillionbeatz: Learn how this game works and go for clears as well as learning how to score I guess.

Learn some CAVE games; play those, thinking about Espgaluda and Ketsui.

Some Seihou Games; learn those as well as playing those.

Some Len'en games either for survival or scoring goals. (Len'en scoring would be strange considering bombs are all that matters in 1-2 as well as lives left I guess..)

Learn scoring in a Touhou game when I feel like it (this also means I'd feel like scoring in a certain game.)

Maybe that I'll add certain goals to this list soon.
