Hello, community.
I am Elairiah.
I joined this forum yesterday, but I did not see much reason to introduce myself until now.
My favorite touhou game is Imperishable Night, which contains many of my favorite soundtracks.
One of them would be the Stage Theme of Stage 3, Nostalgic Blood of the East.
Oddly enough, in spite joining a Touhou forum, I am terrible at the games.
I have never cleared any mode of any game except DDC on Easy, and I always die on Stage 3 on Lunatic.
Despite this, I have a strange tendency to quickly grow bored of any mode that is not Hard or Lunatic, even though
my inability to play bullet hells results in my death almost instantly.
My hobbies include reading, writing, doodling (though it is very, very bad), getting killed in the official Touhou games,
getting wrecked in Touhoumon, and wasting time (which I seem to do a lot).
I hope to get along with all of you well.
On a side note, how do I capitalize the first letter of my username?
That "e" is going to drive me nuts.

I wonder if it's because otherwise you'd feel inadequate next to other players? Because I have a similar problem - one of not valuing my accomplishments, and always coveting the successes of others.
Which game(s) wreck you? If I were you I'd advise against the Aichiya 1.5 games (AW/WL/MMW); they're hideously balanced.

And for the Lunatic Mode, I'm pretty sure it's mainly caused by my inability to stay still (Bullets in Easy are too sparse and slow), though I won't deny that losing feelings flat-out terrible. And no, I meant the Fire Red 1.8x(?) Touhoumon. The one where you can re-evolve puppets over and over again. |
