This is basically a Chinese Touhou fangame. This particular version of it was released back in October. I'll link to a topic from MotK mostly because that is where I first heard of it and where you can find the download link and patch for it (as well as the game that came before this particular one). There were some technical difficulties trying to get this game to run that I mention in the thread, but I will go into detail here. Also, keep in mind its been awhile since I last played it so what I say here might not be accurate.
MotK Topic regarding game
From my experience, this game only runs if the system locale of your computer is set to Chinese (Simplified, PRC). I don't remember if I tried to use applocale. Locale switch doesn't work too well, either.
As far as gameplay is concern, the controls are pretty much the same as the main games. Arrow keys for movement, z for shoot, x for bomb, shift for focus movement. If there are items on screen, you can auto-collect them by letting go of the shot button. You also have a bar on the right to keep in mind. Grazing bullets and auto-collecting items will fill this meter up. If it goes beyond the red line (or where the F is at, depending on what you look at), you'll start auto-collecting all items the fairies drop. I haven't had this happened to me yet since I do the bare minimum grazing to enter that state, but you can get yourself killed if you fill that meter up completely. Pretty important to make sure you can manage that gauge since keeping that bar beyond the red line will give you some extends to work with (if I remember correctly).
Three shot-types in this game. Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae. Reimu and Sanae have a spread shot (unfocused. Reimu has a wider spread) and with some homing (Reimu is sort of like SakuyaA in PCB. Sanae's homing is more of a 90 degree laser). Marisa has a narrower shot to work with and her focus shot is similar to the Dodonpachi laser if I had to compare it to anything. I mainly played as Marisa while learning this game.
Might as well talk about bombs. The amount of power items you collect goes towards your bomb stock. Using a bomb takes 1.00 power away from the power items you collected (if I remember correctly). There is no period of time you can deathbomb from what I understand, but you do get autobombs (I think you can turn this off, but I don't think there is any real reason to do so). 2 is taken away if you get hit (in which case the autobomb system is used), but you do get a stronger bomb. I can't say about the others, but Marisa's autobomb is her firing a master spark. Only difference from a regular bomb is that power items are generated from the boss (in my experience, this only refills close to 1 bomb so you can't abuse it too much).
Something worth noting is that the bosses don't have a collision hitbox to worry about. Some of the dodges you have to make will likely force you to go over the bosses. I at least recall that being true for the final boss and the stage 3 boss.
Before I forget, the first 3 stages will have some added effects the more you fill that meter. Stage 1 in particular is annoying and most noticeable compared to stage 2 and 3. I don't know why the other stages don't have that effect.
Before anyone asks, I didn't really try to do the extra stage seriously (the game counts how many times you died). I find it silly Marisa has the best advantage in the extra stage, which isn't saying much since you need to manage your resources well. I also don't know the password for one of the folders. I also didn't play the other difficulties that much compared to RSY mode.
Now for some videos. Pretty much what Zigzag and I did (I got his permission to link his run here). I'll come back to this game later if I remember to.
Zigzag's RSY Mode Sanae run
My RSY Mode Marisa run (I recall the video quality in this not being too good since I was recording it full screen)
Me attempting to practice the TLB
Shenanigans
I can't help but feel I forgot to include something that I forgot to talk about. Debating about whether I should just leave that MotK link here or just link directly to where you can get the game and patch, but there is probably stuff there that someone may find useful to know. I'll change it later if necessary.
