Why won't they like Touhou characters by their canon, not their fanon.
I remember reading Reddit about people discussing the fandom of Touhou and what they hate about it.

Eiki is a shouting little kid who thinks doing everything is illegal. (She's more mature than some of the fans out there.)
Yukari is a troll.
Reimu is lazy and greedy.
Alice is a pervert, also a yandere who will kill everyone for Marisa.

Flandre is insane.

Meiling is lazy.
I remember that there's more, original 2hu characters all have their weird fandom, but the newer characters have a little of it, that's why original characters are more popular than newer characters.

Fandom can be weird Aya is not a pervert Eiki is mature (and she immortal) Yukari is maybe a troll but i'm sure (i'm also a troll) I think Reimu is lazy but she not greedy (Yuyuko is greedy) Alice is more like a tsundere in fandom (i'm not fan of yandere) and she his kind, she don't kill ppl and she's pretty cold Remi is just childish and became serious in fight Flan is kind but she have a frustration by resting 495 years in a cave so she can be unstable, but she is not a crazy Maybe Sakuya have pa- (knifed) Meiling is not lazy, yes she sleep but i think that's not laziness Okay you maybe don't know but Alice have a very dark past before pc98 (it's a theory) Alice would have come to Gensokyo with 7 men, after all 7 men came with Alice, Alice killed all men, before she hanged herself, a miko (maybe Reimu)

Okina is a Secret God and i think she is the only Secret God in 2hu
