Had a couple of discussions today about what could be done to emphasize the Touhou gaming community, as all other forums simply do not facilitate this kind of thing enough.
Here's a couple of resolutions I've thought about, I might possibly add more later.
Subforum of the Gameplay Board: Guides, Strategy and Data
Simply put, a subforum dedicated for users to post any form of guides or relevant statistics related to Touhou. Be it spreadsheets, scoring strategies, shot type numbers, whatever! I personally know a couple users on Eientei who are already planning to work on some Touhou guides, and I think having a board for this is a step in the right direction to facilitate such tools.
New Highscore Moderator
Get someone whose sole purpose is to moderate the highscore board. AKA, their only purpose is to update scores on all threads when necessary, and polishing up said lists.

The people who facilitate the highscores are doing a fine job right now, IMO. I don't think we need someone who only does that.

This account is rarely used anymore. LNN Thread updates mainly come from forum administrators.

I'm not 100% how your management works with those but maybe it would be a good idea to consolidate the power somehow, if people are prone to get busy and neglect the task. |

Yeah I've actually forfeited the threads a while ago, so anyone's free to take over if they want.
Idk if you can transfer ownership of threads through proboards but i guess the new board keeper can make a new thread. They're welcome to copy pasta the format I used.
Admittedly, I shouldn't have volunteered considering I ended up becoming inactive with it over time but alas, what's past is past.

So when will new threads be made etc. if you don't mind me asking?
I made a few temporary threads for now with updates and perhaps once the actual new threads are made you could extract the data from the temp threads and delete all the old threads?

I'll just tell this now, but this has been entirely unnecessary even if meant for a good outcome, I was already putting forward ideas in the Eientei Skypechat to put more structure into this and to make sure we could edit Mino's thread (the group of the assembled active scoreboardgroup would in my idea get specific authority for the scoreboard section of the forum, so I can for example edit another scorethread made by another person. Rather than that people can make new threads to take over old ones, I don't want a system like on shmups.forums, it doesn't work well and it just doesn't eye nice either.) So although I really understand it was made with good intentions, I don't think it is a good idea. On another note I have no problem with you having scoreboard moderation powers if this idea gets accepted so you can edit Mino's threads regardless.

Yeah I wasn't aware of the scoreboard moderation idea at the time so I do apologize for making these so soon. I'd appreciate it if the three threads labeled "temporary new thread" were archived.
