Alright, nerds. It's a little known fact that whoever wins a Writing Competition on this forum is doomed to host the next one, so here I am. No, shut up, round 1 isn't canon. ARE YA READY, KIDS?
Anyways, welcome one and all to the
THIRD EIENTEI WRITING COMPETITION

It's been a pretty damn long time since the last round, so I'll go over what this entails. The writing competition will consist of Three Rounds, for each of which the participants will write one piece each. This can be a short story or a poem,
although you should do your best to not make it too short or too long. A theme will be assigned, by me, for each round. Your piece must adhere to the theme, if it doesn't then it will lose points. I'd love to explain the judging process right now, but actually that'll be up to the people who are interested to decide. Oh, and yes, your piece must use Touhou characters or be in the Touhou Universe. This does not mean you can't awkwardly wedge in other fictions, though, just make sure the central focus is our lovely 2hu's.
So, like the title and header suggest, this is merely the interest thread. Those who wish to participate please leave a post here saying so. And, as for the poll up above, I want to know what kinda of judging process you'd prefer. Our choices are either a 1 "Judge Panel + User score" system, where a panel of judges will score pieces as well as all the involved writers. In this system, the panel will have more weight than the writers, but the writers will have enough sway to make a difference. The other option is a 2 "User score only" system, where all scores are weighted equally and there is no special panel. Edit: Only people who intend to join should vote in the poll.
Alright, now that the brief explanation is out of the way, y'all ready to kick some ass? I know there are plenty of you out there who love to create, to write, to invent stories. And I just know we'd all love to hear them. I encourage as many people as possible to join this, and to use the criticism or praise you receive as genuine experience towards bettering yourself as a writer. Let's Go!
