This game is frustrating

I'm on my way to 1cc'ing all the Windows shooter games on Normal, and this is the only game I have left.
However, LoLK in particular has proved to be a massive source of frustration for me, especially as I'm trying to 1cc Legacy mode instead of doing Pointdevice.
The main reason?
Clipdeaths.
Clipdeaths absolutely everywhere. More than any other game I have played.
It's especially noticeable in LoLK due to its emphasis on grazing and hugging bullets in order to earn resources.
I dunno, maybe it's just me not being completely used to the style of attacks in this game. Maybe it's due to using a non-Reimu character. But I feel that plenty of attacks in this game have disproportionate hitboxes, and I don't mean in the "smaller than they look" way. Lasers in particular feel a lot fatter than they should, such as the laser-firing yin-yangs in Stage 4, bullets-turned-into-laser things in Stage 5, and Clownpiece/Junko lasers. Hell I feel that I had an easier time dealing with Shou's lasers in UFO, and I found that painful as well. Doremy's laser spell is pretty much the definition of terrifying, and with her bullet overlapping at weird trajectories she is probably the single hardest Stage 3 boss honestly.
Also a lot of attacks purposely misfire making it nearly impossible to graze without using a bomb, I'm looking at you Stage 4 yin-yang bullets... How am I supposed to stream that?
Clownpiece's massive stars are a pain as well. And don't get me started on anything Junko has.
Hell I even find myself sometimes dying to easy-looking spells such as Ringo's tiny pellets...
I'm also using Sanae, so attempting to use focus shot on Sagume will just end up missing the boss entirely instead. I'm not too good moving about unfocused.
It just seems like so many parts of the game require you to use at least one bomb to get through unscathed, and in some cases even necessary in order to get that precious life piece. It's unbalanced as hell.
Bombing also seems to be my only counter to clipdeathing, other than git gud obviously.
...or maybe all of this boils down to not being skilled enough at this game yet. Who knows.
I'm just really mad at this game atm. Even UFO was an easier experience...
If anyone has any tips/advice or a replay I could use (can't use Gensokyo because antivirus hates it lolol), that would be greatly appreciated. I could really use some pattern studying...
