The realm went completely silent as the orb stopped expanding. It had the same colours as the realm, the string swords held the orb like a prison.
“You broke everything one of my toys.” The voice was calm, the calm before the storm. Then the eruption of anger came from his voice. “YOU ARE BAD PEOPLE! YOU BROKE MY TOYS! MY TOYS AREN'T SUPPOSE TO BREAK!” Then the orb exploded, revealing one person. He wore a regal robe that was tightly fitted around his body, resembling skin that had black leather straps. The rest of his robe was a bright white with the visible tatters of an cape. In his hands,he held steel string that was sharp enough to cut like a sword. Each of the swords were covered in dried blood.
And then, his arm flicked like a lead being dragged and she was trapped in a cage, even if she moved an inch, she'd be grazed by the sharp string. An cage that inflicted death. He soon brought his hands to his chest, an sphere was brought into existence. And then, the orb flew at her. The swords were broken and she ducked, the orb barely grazing her face and she made a mad rash out of the sword cage. “You are supposed to die!” He screamed as he begun to fire the orbs at an rapid pace with no real pattern to them, all of them missing as she leaped up. And an scarlet sword materialized in her hand, she tiled her neck back to see Pikmin, clenching his fist in pain as he struggled to make the sword appear in her hand. She lightly smiled, bringing the sword into his left arm, an child scream came out of his mouth. The sword disappeared as blood stained where the sword landed. She landed on the floor, smirking at the task she had just completed.
And insane laughter replaced the scream. It begun as a hefty chuckle and ended with a laughing fit. He flew at the girl, swinging his swords in crazed styles. That was until she jumped again, and the edge of the sword collided with her leg, wrapping around like an snake and then he swung his arm, she collided with the cold floor, her face dragged across it before she was jerked upwards.
Above her laid string, resembling strings to hold up a noose ready to impale her. She closed her eyes, accepting her death within a moment's instant, remember the short lived memories that haunted her past.
Above the low lands of valleys and river that lead from the Youkai mountain, many hidden villages laid rested on higher hills. Nestled in the shadow of the Youkai mountain, an fortress that held many beings that wanted to remain hidden from the rest of the world.
This was where the desires of men and women were turned into physical form. The entrance to the village held a wall that laid around the village, the wall had an wooden gate that never opened. Inside, the village was in a organized structure, there was an dirt path that lead to an main hall, the path itself held no people. The children of the village laid in one place, the school building.
“Chiyoko!” The teacher yelled at the girl who laid half asleep at the edge of the line, she held the grey monochrome spear, resting on it. The instructor on the other was a average male, however, he held the aura of a greater figure. She barley lifted her head up, shaking her head slightly.
“With your attitude, you will become a simple foot solider!” Chiyoko chuckled at the man's comment, but her chuckle was short lived as the butt of the grey spear winded her in the chest, making her cough slightly “If you can laugh, you can fight can't you?!” He forcefully grabbed Chiyoko and threw her into a wooden arena, it's boundary marked by a red square. Her opponent was a meekly boy, wearing tattered leather that almost resembled a simple farmer. Chiyoko took a lazed battle stance, her spear facing the floor. The boy charged at Chiyoko, holding the spear pointed at her chest, he ran, ready to impale her.
“NO KILLING IS ALLOWED!” The man screamed at the stance the boy took but then, Chiyoko had her spear beneath his and at the right moment she, swinging upwards and knocking the spear, distracting him for merely a second her leg retracted before kicking him to the wooden floor, his spear rolling out of his arm.
“Well, I didn't think Chiyoko had it in her...” The captain muttered as he angrily walked out of the room, leaving the students alone. All was heard was gazes of excitement and murmurs from a group of boys, laughter was heard as they approached the meekly boy, just barley attempting to stand up. All of them gathered around the boy, prodding him with the butt of their spear. “'Wit your weakness, you'd be lucky to transcendence at all!” The self proclaimed leader mocked him, the leader was then took in surprise as the whack of the spear slammed him tumbling to the floor, all the other boys looked onwards in shock.
“Pick on someone who can take your abuse.” Chiyoko smirked, the confidence running through her veins as the other 2 boys pointed their spears at him. Out of anger, the leader threw his body against Chiyoko, sending her sprawling to the floor.
“I'll make sure to kil-” The sentence was cut abrupt as a sudden gasp of air escaped him, following blood as it landed on the floor as he looked at the source for the spear. The boy they had been making fun of, had bitten back.
“I've had- had- had-.” The boy stuttered as he tried to speak, an soft and warm hand appearing on his shoulder. Everyone including Chiyoko dropped to their knees. She wore a skin tight purple dress that had an flower symbol sown onto her sleeves. She smiled greatly as she motioned to the other boys to pick his corpse.
“This boy. He has passed.” Everyone's jaw dropped in amazement. There was nothing but silence between her words. She cleared her throat before her right arm was thrown upwards. “Tell us boy. Do you have a strong heart? The boy simply nodded, no furthers words were said as an visible key appeared in her hand. The key was pure white but it had an mysterious symbol in the middle of it. It was continually glowing and then it grew, it's tip was now covered in chains, where they wrapped around her arm. Without any warning, the key flew into his chest and the light blinded everyone for a second.
“Today! This young boy shall leave his mortal coil! He shall walk upon the desires! The question is, will he keep his physical body or his heart hall recreate his body?” And everyone stood, waiting for the answer that would determinate his rank among the society. The light flickered for merely a second more and he stood, his original body had remained, there was no difference to him. And then, he was forcefully warped away with the click of her fingers.
“Now run along children!” The woman spoke and everyone bolted for the door, but as Chiyoko followed the crowd, the woman called out “Chiyoko, I'd like a word with you.” Chiyoko's head bolted to the floor as she walked what seemed like a infinity, when the two stood in the ring. She cleared her throat.
“You showed some bravery today, you were prepared to take 3 opponents at once. If you are ready for that, I think we need to do one final test. Meet me tomorrow morning at this ring.” She disappeared into the shadows, leaving Chiyoko alone.
The morning sun shot her awake with a shadow looming over her. And she shot awake and rolling to the wall, the being brought his arm upwards, smashing down into her bed, splinters flying where her neck used to be.
Chiyoko shot from her bed; punching the attacker in the stomach;to her surprise; he was barley phased and the attacker shot a fast punch into her chest, winding her.
