I always considered a brother/sisterhood involving Touhou, particularly because I never encountered an ignorant or arrogant Touhou fan; all my conversations, especially canon and official related, have been civilized, and we even apologized if anything condescending was remarked.

Aww. I theorize the "Easy Modo" presentation was particularly offensive to inexperienced players, and really demoralized them from joining in and investing more into Touhou, but I always continuously support newcomers; in fact, when I first played, I didn't even know where the fire button was, and died on Cirno, with a full continue. Ha.

Yeah, Easy Modo REALLY helps with getting better. Without it, I doubt I'd have the skill to eventually 1cc MoF Hard (accomplished this nine days ago, and I'm still proud). Helping and supporting newcomers is the right way to do things, not insult and brag to them.
