NOTE: BEFORE USE PLEASE BACK UP YOUR FILES (Or at least your replays and your score.dat) (This should go without saying) SpoilerAL is a cheat engine of sorts that will allow you to practice touhou with ease when combine with the 4.6 ssg. Most of you probably already know about SpoilerAL so this is mostly aimed at newer players. To get started with spoilerAL you will need a few things: 1. SpoilerAL itself which can be found here: wcs.main.jp/index/software/spal/2. AppLocale/Another locale emulator/Change system Locale to Japanese 3. The 4.6 ssg which can be found here: www44.atpages.jp/~youthia/The only games that have a 4.6 ssg are: EoSD, PCB, IN and UFO. (Im not too sure why MoF and SA do not exist however boss rush patches have been made for TD onwards) Here is a image on how to navigate the SSG site as it is all in unicode: i.imgur.com/tFc3hXH.png?1Once you have the compressed files for SpoilerAL (called spal61.lzh) and the SSGs you simply need to extract the SpoilerAL file from spal61.lzh to your desktop or somewhere appropriate; extract the ###.ssg from is respected zip file and add the .ssg(s) to the SSG folder within the SpoilerAL folder. SpoilerAL should now be ready to use. Be sure to launch it with AppLocale or another locale emulator or change your system's local to Japanese. Otherwise everything will display in unicode. Can you practice any* patchy spell with any shot type?
It works with the vsync version too just rename the japanese game to 東方紅魔郷.exe
About applocale emulators:
It does work with HF pApploc, Locale Emulator and Ntlea but it doesn't work with LocaleSwitch (it closes EoSD)
I haven't tried the original Applocale because Hf AppLoc disables it

You can play any patchy spell with any shot type and AppLocale does work as that is what I use. I use to use the vpatch with English patch but I still remember it crashing when I mid boss skipped. Cant remember though. I have always been using the Jap version since the crash

Thats interesting, never though of opening it with Notpad++. Ill work on making an English patch of EoSD then.

Altho I do wish it'd be capable for those 2 games. I haven't found any SpolerAL spell practice for MoF and SA but I've found some substitutes: Make sure you backup your scoreth10.dat and scoreth11.dat files because they can get corruptedFor SA you have the super assist tool by RIRI which is extremely overpowered Super assist tool for SA (Add this .exe as an exception to your antivirus)You can install it on the same folder of SA If you want to keep your save files untouched:Lunatic way (Hex Editor)
Modify the assist tool with an Hex Editor XVI32 and rename inside the th11p1.03.exe the savefile from scoreth11.dat to scoreprac.dat Download the tsukuyomi ups tool, Do a copy of th11.exe (v1.00a) and rename it to th11p.exe, patch th11p.exe with this
Make a new folder with another instance of the game just for the assist tool Easy modo way (Jack Sparrow way)

Thanks Xirno for that. IN is almost finished. Im trying to figure out what the last 2 options actually do. 2nd to last says it affects familiars but I cant get it to work so I may leave it out?

If you get the error message "RichEdit ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?" after every click, in the menu bar select (V), in this menu select (U), there select the option (1). You can also get the program SpoilerAL itself translated in English here |
