Doesn't help a lot of starting cards are meh, and I'm generally bad at card games.

Kangaskhan and Pinsir helps out a lot, throwing in another element will help too. Currently my deck is grass/water, with some colorless Pokemon(Kangaskhan) thrown in. Also, focusing on draw power helps too.
