I also agree with you. I would like to see someone do Touhou Metal Medley with new OSTs, I only see old OSTs like PCB,IN,EoSD.
I'd love some DDC Metal Medley, Sekibanki's theme has some good riffs, Seija's theme + Power Metal = An OST called "Revolution". If I did the cover then LOL.

I gotta say that DDC OSTs sound like they were inspired by metal songs, Sekibanki's theme has a killer riff!
I also like Sumeriko's theme, newer OSTs have some guitar riffs in them, my favorite would be Okina's EX theme.

Touhou and Power Metal would be good, since Power Metal doesn't sound as scary as other genres.

Orchestral remake of OSTs like Lullaby of Deserted Hell makes me cry, For Emotional Skyscraper - Cosmic Mind, I get goosebumps everytime, lastly for Reverse Ideology, they turn Seija from an evil Youkai into a classy Youkai.
