Just want to make this clear: This is a survival draft, not a scoring draft.
If anybody is interested, you must make a post in this thread or PM me, otherwise you will not be considered. This is mainly a notice towards people on Skype who may only mention their interest in the chat.
Rules:
1. This draft is for 6-12 players.2. PCB, SA, GFW and TD will be the games played.
3. Only one character/team/shot/route may be drafted per game.
4. No cheating. You can abuse glitches and safe-spots if that's your thing, though.
5. V-Sync Patches to help with laggy controls are explicitly allowed.
6. Practice all you like, but all replays submitted are to be recorded during this draft.
7. You do not need to stick to your chosen difficulty for each game, but be aware that submitting a lower difficulty will reduce your score. Submitting a higher difficulty will not yield as high a score than if you chose that difficulty directly (but will not have a negative impact on your score).
8. Up to 3 continues are allowed, but there will be point penalties depending on the amount used.
9. Default gameplay settings (where applicable) - that's 3 lives in PCB.
Procedure:
1. Snake-style drafting will be used to determine shot types used. Take your pick from the entire pool, but after choosing from one game you obviously can't choose another from the same game.
2. As soon as possible following the drafting of shot-types, you will decide on a difficulty to use for each of the games and submit a PM to me. These will be kept private, and revealed with each round's results (except for mine, to prove I am not cheating). You may submit replays that are not your chosen difficulty. However, lower difficulties will have a penalty and higher difficulties will have reduced benefits compared to if you chose that difficulty in the first place.
2. The games will be played in this order: TD->SA->PCB->GFW, with each player using what they drafted for each game. You can send in as many replays of the same game as you like, I'll only count the latest. There will be two weeks available for each game - all replays must have been attained during the two week periods given, anything else will be rejected. If you know you are unable to achieve a satisfactory replay in a period due to external issues, then contact me during the first week (or before) of the game in question and an extension will be given (to be completed after the GFW round is over).
3. After attaining a replay, players will send me it as evidence (preferably by linking to it via PM, although sending it as an attachment also works). I will then release these replays at the end of the round and declare the scores and rankings. You can upload your replays here. Please don't watch others' replays before the end of each round if they upload them there.
4. Since PCB does not allow replays to be saved after a continue, a screenshot of the game following Ressurection Butterfly which shows the game screen and Score, Lives and Bombs will be accepted for runs which are not 1ccs. These must also be PM'd to me, in place of a replay. If you 1cc PCB, then standard replay submission rules apply.
Scoring:
1. The primary source of points is having the most lives and bombs at the end of the replay. Each life remaining will count for 5 points, while bombs remaining will count for 1 each. There are some specific cases when determining score:
- PCB - The bomb count differs depending on the character chosen, therefore on top of the bomb score, these balances will be applied:
- +1 point for Marisa (due to starting with only two bombs)
- -1 point for Sakuya (due to starting with four bombs)
- SA - Since there are no bombs, power will be used instead (rounded down - i.e. 4.0 is 4 points but 3.5 is 3 points).
- Marisa A (Alice) gets 8.0 power, so to calculate bomb score this will be halved, and rounded down.
- GFW - Score will be calculated as follows:
- Motivation divided by 100 rounded down will be the 'lives' (i.e. 420% motivation will become 4.2, rounded down is 4. This is 4 'lives' and will count for 5 points each, giving 20 points).
- Perfect freeze divided by 100 rounded down will be the bombs (i.e. 250% will yield 2 points).
2. Depending on how many continues are used, points will be rewarded, or deducted:
- 1ccs = 10 points
- 2ccs = 0 points
- 3ccs = -5 points
- 4ccs = -10 points
- 5ccs or more will not be accepted as valid replays.
3. Difficulty chosen will also have a significant affect on your points (it is therefore good to choose difficulty wisely - don't be overconfident!). These will be applied as multipliers to your score at the last stage of calculation:
- 1.0x for Easy
- 1.5x for Normal
- 2.0x for Hard
- 3.0x for Lunatic
- 0.8x for submissions below the chosen difficulty (i.e. if you choose Normal and submit Easy, your multiplier is 0.8x)
- +0.2x for each difficulty above the chosen difficulty (i.e. if you choose Easy and submit Normal, your multiplier is 1.0x + 0.2x = 1.2x, but if you choose Normal and submit Lunatic, your multiplier is 1.5x + 0.4x = 1.9x).

If a user is inactive for more than 48 hours during the draft process, and no other user has spoken up for the person missing then the pick will be randomised. Shot type weight will also be taken into account, for example if Marisa A of PCB has 2 stock, there would be two instances of Marisa A in the randomiser. This is done to ensure the true randomness concept. If you are aware that you might be unavailable or just want to take precautionary measures, please inform someone else of your pick preferences so that they can pick in your place if you happen to be unavailable when it's your turn.
Due Dates:
Wednesday 4th March 24:00 GMT - deadline for submitting Ten Desires replays. Also the start of the Subterranean Animism round.
Wednesday 18th March 24:00 GMT - deadline for submitting Subterranean Animism replays. Also the start of the Perfect Cherry Blossom round.
Wednesday 1st April 24:00 GMT - deadline for submitting Perfect Cherry Blossom replays. Also the start of the Great Fairy Wars round.

Prizes:
Currently under discussion with staff.
As a final note:
This competition will run alternating weeks with the Soku competition, in order to allow them to be run concurrently. This will also give extra time for each round of the draft - two weeks for each game.
Also, of the rules, procedure etc. listed above, none are final and I welcome any and all suggestions to improvements that can be made.
Hope you all have fun!
