A pleasure finally being here!

Greetings to everyone here at this nice, little website of Eientei Forums! Allow me to introduce myself: I am PurpleTheGuy, and it nice to be able to be here at last! I also go by a couple more pseudonyms, like Purple Jr., MrHiroJr, and then some more, but I mainly go by PurpleTheGuy! I also live at Houston, TX, in-case anyone's interested in knowing that! ^^

Some more things about me: I am an aspiring STG player who started out playing STGs through Touhou since August of last year, and I'm currently working on beating all of the Touhou STG games (PC-98 & Windows) on lunatic mode + extras, with a particular focus on lunatic mode (So far, at the moment, I've beaten 5 of the Touhou games on lunatic mode: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Perfect Cherry Blossom, Phantasmagoria of Flower View (Medicine Melancholy), Great Fairy Wars (A-1 & C-2. I even sort of did a scoring run for C-2 lunatic mode! ^^), and last but not least (I did this a few hours ago), Mountain of Faith! (I used Marisa C); For extras, so far, I did PCB (Extra + Phantasm), IN, PoFV, MoF, & GFW), and at some point, I'm also very much looking to play other shooting games besides Touhou (So far, I did a 1cc of Eschatos normal mode, Crimzon Clover vanilla version simple mode, Deathsmiles arranged mode for MBL, and a few others. I'm actually working on DoDonPachi, as of yesterday and so far, I did learn how to get all 13 bees in the 1st 3 stages), all while still playing Touhou, and do all those special challenges (LNBs, no-focus, no-verticals, etc.) and scoring runs, all in the hopes that I'll, one day, follow in the footsteps of Jaimers, Erppo, Sapz, Naut, Azinth, VgameT, Drake, ebarrett, Saucykobold, Seppo Hovi, shmoop_meister, Zodiac, chum, zil, Heartbeam, .ASP, and the various other great Touhou/STG players out there, so that's a brief bit about me, my dreams & aspirations! ^^

Also, I'll share this bit with you all: Yes, I was the one who showed the one you call zigzagwolf (I call him Holland Doll) the way here, and Angel & Prinny followed him. I didn't plan on joining this website for some time until later, but since those three joined here, I figured, "Eh, why not? I'll go right now, rather than later!" so there you have it! ^^

Yes, I knew of this website through replays.gensokyo.org (I regularly follow the Touhou achievements that go on everyday there), where I've spotted a few particular people who have posted links to certain websites there (I wanted to find out about other Touhou websites other than the main, big ones), and I took notice of a few particular players. ZM, balcerzak, and LightBrand99 stuck out to me a lot (I thought that they were pretty good, new & upcoming players, and so, I've observed them for a while at replays.gensokyo.org before coming up w/ the idea of going here & meet them) and that's a little bit about how I know about this place.

Well, anyhow, I don't know if this was a great intro (I'm actually really tired right now, I spent a few hours making a few videos to put up at YouTube, namely, my PoFV lunatic 1cc w/ Medicine & my MoF lunatic 1cc, so yeah, I essentially stayed up the whole night, lol - Yeah, link to my YT account, by the way: PurpleTheGuy) but yeah, that's some things about me! I hope to be good friends with everyone here, and yeah! ^^
