There's a trend about "Don't turn me into marketable plushies!" meme. Touhou is also affected by this.
It's really funny when done to older characters. (Mostly EoSD to SA.)
I also hope that we can get more of new characters plushies.

Just downloaded EoSD, it finally worked. It was like true hell, the spell cards weren't that hard but there were a lot of stuff going on here and there so I lost my mind and lost the game. Still managed to finish it in easy. Might play normal because I want my Remilia. (ZUN was cruel.) I hate fairies and I still hate them even when playing WBaWC.When I fought Sakuya I shouted something like "ZA WARUDO" and "DIO" or whatever JoJo stuff.
no dont hurt me It's really fun to dig through older Touhou games. They were so brutal, harder than recent games. Might download IaMP later. How lucky, Yukari is from PCB and that game is famous enough that people will do plushies of characters. EoSD, PCB, IaMP, and SA were the highest peaks of Touhou, MoF and PoFV also did. Meanwhile, Seija plush is quite hard to find. (After UFO, Touhou reclined for a bit.) |

I can easily beat EoSD in Normal (thanks training) but Sakuya say no to me. It's because Cirno is the strongest.Don't worry it's understandable to make jojoke toward Sakuya. ZUN was sadistic at this point. For IaMP good luck for the controls. It's because Yukari is life but i cannot fight her because i'm a noob (at least i can almost beat Ran in PCB) I think Hisoutensoku stay quite popular because i can see some competitive match, also sometime for AoCF. My favorite game for now is PCB because it's the first appearance of Yukari, every ost has 100% confirmed eargasm, the aesthetic is perfect, i like all PCB cast i cannot hate this game.
My favorite game (before PCB) was AoCF it still one of my favorite games but the problem is it's too easy for a Touhou game because the AI seem like braindead.
My least favorite well it's too hard for choosing but it would be VD, Sumireko is the main protagonist and it's cool, the musics are cool but it's not incredible, i'm just not in fond of photography games |

My headcannon for Seija would be someone who is tired of everything and wants to stand against everyone, her Amanojaku instincts run wild in her blood as she destroys all the things that have wronged her. Nevermind that's edgyNow that I don't know what to download, maybe I'll finish all games in normal first. Maybe I'll try Hisoutensoku and HM. Basically, StB, DS, ISC and VD are Touhou's weakest games. Feel bad for Seija and Sumireko to be in a not-that-good games. I also don't like photography games, it's almost-impossible for new players. I died at the same levels and spots for many times. Warning! Do not click if you haven't read/finish playing Touhou yet.The song for Kasen, "Can I Play With Madness" is a balance for both of her hermit and oni sides. |

"Destroys all the things" Seija become friend with Flandre. Hisoutensoku is a good game but there many ""complex"" things. Some little link. Also for the ost, the ost are not bad in photography games they are quite good but compared to fighting/bullet hell ost it seem kinda week. I can understand the difficulty for ISC since the title is "Impossible" but the rest i want others difficulties options. I don't remember the manga where she show her oni side to Reimu but in my knowledge it's Wild and Horned Hermit (not totally sure)
But i love this song, it deserve more fame. |

Some people like to draw Patchouli fat. (Or chubby and cute because Patchy is lazy and never exercises.)
Why do I keep forgetting Alice? I forget that she exists?
Ok added her to the theme songs list.
Urumi, Letty, Ran, Yukari and many goddesses are often drawn to be mommy-like, big hips, big breasts and some fat. (I rarely see thicc Okina and Keiki, they don't look mommy-like or old. New goddesses are young to people, maybe. I just think they're like 23.)
Mayumi is often drawn with cracks on body but most people just draw her like she's a normal human.
Yachie is sometimes drawn as a yakuza but I don't care because she's just a gangster-wannabe. (Poor Yachie she just wanna be cool)

Seija's horns:
No horns = They forgot to draw them
Tiny horns = Cute
Average horns = Seija
Long horns = A bit evil looking or handsome Seija (I want)
I also like muscular Touhou, someone like Yuugi, Shou, Momiji, Saki and Utsuho are nice.

It's pretty rare to forgot Alice.
I feel like it's often about the Old Maid Alliance and the characters who are in are Kanako, Eirin, Yukari, Yuyuko and Byakuren but sometime i can see Yuuka, Ran, Junko, Nemuno, Okina and even Sariel. But for the Sariel one it's pretty rare.
Seija is already handsome.
In the official Yuugi in SA has a sport outfit but now she has a kimono but staying mature and i prefer her like that.
It tough than the Hurting Kogasa thing was just a cute thing but not some h**tai weird thing.
Kogasa does not deserve this.

The character i forget the most is Tokiko, she has a cool design but i always forget her. Yuugi will always stay the best oni. I'm going to talk about Touhou OST. I see many persons saying than UN Owen Was Here? and Bad Apple are the musics who represent the whole Touhou Project franchise. For me it's not these 2 songs, don't get me wrong these ost are amazing and i love them but UN Owen is just Flandre theme and Bad Apple is just LLS Stage 3 Theme and not even Elly theme, it's just the remix who make it popular. The true theme who embody Touhou Project is Eternal Shrine Maiden because is first appearance is in the first Touhou game HRtP and it's (almost) the first theme of Reimu the first character of Touhou. I didn't forget Tokiko, I just couldn't find a place to put her on the list. Might put Rinnosuke but I have no idea about him. Thank you for recommending me such beautiful pieces of music. Beautiful and sad. 3 years of getting into Touhou, I've never heard of or listened to such great OSTs. Must download the emulator as soon as possible, I want my PC-98 games. ZUN was really young (maybe 19-21) when he made this and I feel like following his path. I feel like listening to some sort of Agalloch/Alcest songs. The songs bite me in my heart, leaving me with both happiness and sadness in my mind and tears on my face. His songs are filled with raw feelings, made with an old machine with limited tools, which make them emotional, raw, brutal yet beautiful. Comparing to WBaWC, WBaWC songs are more processed yet PC-98 can give out more (raw) feelings than them. My personal favorite modern Touhou theme is Last Occultism ~ Esotericist of the Present WorldReverse Ideology is too rough, Heian Alien is too dark while this song wins my heart. (Sorry Seija and Nue, you're still my favorite but your themes are quite too much for me.) This song ties with Pure Furies, one of the best modern Touhou themes. Shotoku Legend ver. ULiL is also a great one, a nice rock/metal remix of the original experimental one. It's quite sad to see PC-98 characters being forgotten in time. Do you notice the roles of characters in shippings? In many yuri ships, one girl is masculine while the other is feminine. (Note: Not all the ships are like this, they depend on the artists or stories.) Mokou is often portrayed to be masculine towards Kaguya. Sometimes Okina, Seija, Shou, Yuugi, Saki and Wriggle are handsome. (Please don’t look at me like that.) Most of the times they are feminine. ZUNpets in modern Touhou themes, trust me.
Thanks to ZUN, Toby Fox can create great music. (Undyne’s ZUNpets, anyone?)

Wait Okina is handsome? Why Yukari is not handsome.I found 3 theories about the same theme (dreams) who are kinda mind blowing.
1st theory: Gensokyo is just Reimu's dream.
This theory is kinda inspired from Touhou: Concealed the Conclusion. It would explain why Reimu is so much important in Gensokyo, her spellcards also contain the word "dream" but she cannot manipulate dreams in my knowledge. Some themes have the word "dream" and some characters have the word "dream" in there title even if they have no connections towards dreams (ex: Yuyuko).
2nd theory: Gensokyo is just Maribel's dream.
Maribel often goes in Gensokyo via dreams and Yukari would be the oneiric version of Maribel so it would explain the connection between these 2. But Renko say Gensokyo is an another reality so it's kinda the opposite of Maribel's dream.
3rd theory: Outside world is just Yukari's dream.
In Memorizable Gensokyo, Yukari refers to herself as the representative of Gensokyo's reality. Yukari can also manipulate boundaries including Reality/Dreams (or even entering dreams), she know a lot about the outside world and she also sleep a lot so when she hibernate she would dream about the Outside world.
These statements are just theories so don't take these as the absolute truth. |

I prefer feminine Yukari. Masculine Yukari is rare but that sounds nice. Okina is handsome in many ships involving OkiYuka and EterKina. OkiKeiki when? Ok that's a lot of them.
Since when they got overshadowed by other themes?
I like Rigid Paradise, thanks to Akatsuki Records. Sometimes memes write themselves. Touhou FumoFumo used to be normal fanmade dolls but they became a meme and their iconic faces give us some good laugh. |

GoodI swear I haven't listen to most of them carefully, I ignore the songs so I can focus on playing the game.
Also thanks for adding "The Shining Needle Castle Sinking In The Air", my favorite track from DDC. The song hits me in the heart as always. My friends asked me to play WBaWC and that was the first time for me to play Youmu. (They selected Youmu for me.) I started to like Youmu even I hadn't finished stage 1, her focus attack is BRUTAL. I'm well known as the only Touhou player in class and Touhou becomes a meme they used with me. At least you could buy some other things like non-fumo plushies, keychains or fanbooks. There are many ways to support Touhou so don't worry.
