Ah, classic Banpai Akira and Zounose.
Zounose art style is really great.
Older Banpai is great for Koumajou Densetsu, his later stuff is still cool.

Finally, I found Minakata Sunao.

Hello, I am the Korn of Touhou fan artists.
(Ok that's a weird sentence, nevermind. I kinda like Korn now.)

ZUN is Black Sabbath except he is still active. By Black Sabbath, I mean that he is the first to begin the Touhou art and fan artists continue it.

How to be a famous Touhou artist without being NSFW:
1. Get a good and pleasant art style (Or good and pleasant music style for musical artist like Akatsuki Records, Sound Holic etc.)
2. Make a good and safe content, you can spice it a little but not too much.
3. Be yourself. Be unique.
Ex1. Know Japanese well so you can communicate with fans, since most of Touhou fans are Japanese
Ex2. Sell things like fan-comics, keychains, figures, posters etc. as a promotion. (Or sell albums with books and extra things for musical artists.)
Ex3. Join a good art or comic group.

I also have some talk with artists.
Shisido (44C) is nice but he couldn't understand English so I have some problems when talking with him. He likes Koishi a lot.
Yukome (Chiiyukoo) is a funny person. (I just post memes and YachiKeiki stuff with her.)
Naufaldreamer is also funny, even if I rarely talk to him.

Shisido is also raw like me. I thought I was the only one to be raw. From is also raw, but less raw than me and Shisido.

I also talk with my followers and it's really fun that they understand about me.
Some are Metal fans and I'm having fun making Metal jokes with them.

I wish I could understand more about Japanese so I could talk to many of the artists.
I did have some very small talks with Shisido (about Koishi) and Kanatan1_31 (about Ichirin and how she fell to the 105th position.).
Quite confusing because they don’t know much English and I don’t know much Japanese.

The nicest artist would be Numenoko. She’s so nice and positive.
Most of her comments are positive. No swearing or hate in them.
If someone draws something Tantanpou related (with her art style, no matter how it looks), she’ll give you a like and retweet your post with her catchphrase “Berigoo!”.
I drew Seija in her art style and she said it’s “berigoo!”, didn’t know what to say but I was happy.

But you have Mazeran.
Some of my mutuals also like Persona so you’re in luck but there are a few of them.

Well, simple Japanese phrases can let you communicate with them.
Maybe use google translate. I did that when I want to talk with them.

“Berigoo” is very good, most Japanese people can’t pronounce foreign words well.
Beri = Very, Goo = Good.
There are also more words she use. She also call Koishi as Koishie. (Cute, isn’t it?)

Mazeran is still active and he’s doing more stuff. (Non-Touhou)
If there are new Touhou characters, he will turn them to Persona demons like what her did to WBaWC casts.

Numenoko is funny, nice and positive.
Another thing that makes me think this way is her cute art style. Tantanpou berigoo!

Being an artist, doing commissions is quite painful.
You need to take time to do it, riskier if you do that for money.
I just accept free commissions to promote myself, that’s it.

Bottom line:
I wish artists know about proportions, they make breasts, hips or muscles look too exaggerated.
I will learn from their mistakes. (Anyways I’m still raw.)

Well, not that fair to be honest. Newer accounts would get less likes and appreciations from people.
There are a lot of underrated and unknown Touhou artists around here.
Having talents doesn't make you get famous but algorithms does.
