Who is the Strongest Characters of Touhou? (in your opinion)

Hold up. Since Eiki can judge the dead if they go to heaven or hell. Isn't sakuya a human and is not dead??? Can can't sakuya reverse the time and erase it completely?

Being serious though, Touhou is a setting very much based on the perspectives of various characters intertwining, so we do not have any truly objective guidelines by which to qualify their abilities in a vacuum.

For example, how would "Power" be defined?

Spell-card rules would suggest that the most difficult bosses are the strongest, but their difficulty is primarily down to the players ability to recognise (and move safely around) flashy colour patterns and efficiently whittle down health bars.

Ability to affect the world around them would be another possible qualifying factor, but is (in my opinion) even worse for overall consistency, as the canon sources (that would be our only real sources of abilities used without being nerfed by the Friendly Battle Rules discussed above) are written from the points of view of specific characters with their own vested interests and alien mindsets.

Finally, it could simply be down to which character is most integral to the continued existence of Gensokyo (and, consequently, the continuation of the story itself) but that one is needlessly meta and honestly I kinda feel pretentious just typing it.

If I had to choose a handful, I would say that:

Remilia could potentially be the single most powerful being if she truly has the level of control over Fate that she claims to (but given how immature she can be beneath the dramatically villainous facade, I somehow doubt it).

A set of contenders are the Sages of Gensokyo, as to my understanding Gensokyo's Gods run off the faith of their followers, who wouldn't exist if there were no Gensokyo, but given that they are hardly on the best of terms with one another I think we can discount them as lacking the teamwork necessary to pull this one off.

Reimu is an OP main character who can float away from reality, but while preventing anyone else from affecting her can't really do much to alter the world around her (which is in keeping with what little we know for sure about her character but still isn't exactly Keter-tier).

Finally, while the Watatsuki sisters are absolutely broken to an anime protagonist level, they are far too loyal to the Lunarians to ever really do anything their above-it-all state does not outright demand of them. Junko and Hecatia, however, were not beholden to anything but their own desires to see the Lunarians brought low, and that they so nearly succeeded in making the haughty Lunarians flee in fear to the Land of Impurity speaks volumes.

im not a huge fan but out of the characters i know sakuya is very strong now from these posts i have barely seen her spoken about soshe isnt top ten but she is very powerfull with her ZA WARUDO type thing
