User rsy_type1 of the MotK forums made a very interesting patch for IN... Basically this patch changes the IN game around, allowing you to play all 8 (or 9, including extra) stages of the game on a single run. The game progress would go like this: GAME START->1->2->3->4A->4B->5->6A->6B->ENDING.
For the 9 stages, it would go like this: GAME START->1->2->3->4A->4B->5->6A->6B-(before 5:00 a.m.)->EXTRAHow to use the Patch: - MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SCORE.DAT FILE! OTHERWISE YOU RISK LOSING YOUR DATA.
- Move th08_8stages/th08_9stages to your IN game root and run it.

Yup. Pretty much. It's not like that's something that you could not do in the original game, since Stage Practice allowed you to do both versions of Stage 4. This is just a link of all the stages, played in a single run, nothing else  |

Yep, patch is really cool, You can get a ton of resources though. Also reimu so easy with border team.

Wait, so how does the Time thing work? Do each of the Stage 4s run the clock? Does Stage 6A run the clock too?
Not sure about the ton of resources. Although Stage 4s give plenty of bombs and Stage 6A adds one bomb, you can't really get more lives because 1100 items is already easily reached with 6 stages while I doubt 9999 items is feasible in 8 stages.

I'm rather curious how this'll be, I'll try it out sometime. I take that you'll have enough bombs to get through the stages 4, whereas the stages 6 will be tough I guess. I've heard that there're a lot of resources, I wonder how many though.  |
