...I actually have a lot of trouble with Imperishable Night's easy mode.
And this is coming from the guy who 1CCed PoFV without ever playing another Touhou game beforehand.

To me, IN Easy is a cakewalk for Bullet Hell standards for the opposite reason: you don't really have to memorize.
Most boss patterns come out very slowly, easily slow enough for you to tell if you're doing it right, or if you have to bomb. On top of that it's absurdly generous with resources - it's possible to hit the stage 4 boss with double full stocks!

IN is easy because they give too much. You can start with 5 lives, they give you a stupid amount of extends and bombs, and every pattern is either gimmicky like Reisen or easy like Eirin. Not to mention the deathbomb window is gigantic, I could drive my car through a deathbomb window like that.

IN on easy is the only game i have 1lced on easy, I try doing that in any other game I die.

IN is easy.
But it's really fun.
Apparently, Kaguya is one of the hardest final bosses in the series on Lunatic.

I 1cced IN Easy twice in a night. The night I got it. Both Eirin and Kaguya defeated. Yeah, it's easy on Easy. I hear it steps it up on Normal, though. yay I got gud IN Normal is still easy. Maybe not TD tier, but still. I'd do IN Hard if I cared enough. I heard nothing really changes, unlike TD Hard and MoF Hard. |
